Room are the size of a closet.i have never seen such small rooms in my life after traveling all over world. Staff was not so cooperative.restaurant have very limited food options..only good part about this hotel is location..
I stayed at this hotel, in case I and two friends, what happened was the following, when I made the reservation the value of the two rooms was charged to me, the day I arrived at the hotel on February 17, 2019, I was I asked for the value of the tourist tax, so far I know and am aware, on the day 19-02-2019, on the day of departure from the hotel, when checking out they wanted to charge me but the tourist taxes, and a value of 56 , 50 , why they came to say that we consumed several items from the mini bar, so I asked the employee to accompany me to the room to check, where everything was checked later, even so a phonographer at the reception said he had to pay 2 waters , 2, colas, 1 chocolate, I didn t want to continue with this situation anymore. I paid for the 4 drinks, the first time I asked for the bill it was 56.50, and when I paid the four drinks the value was 46.50, and the invoice shows me the same amount as the first invoice, I found the service very bad, not to mention while I was in the room the phonetics don't knock my bedroom door and enter my room, I think this is a lack of respect, like cleanliness and terrible, window glasses are disgusting, my bedding had something on it, it had pads, it even had a burnt sheet, and at the end of it I was with someone else, they put me in the smallest room and my friend in the largest room that should have been my room, but what a lack of competence, on my part in this hotel and 1 evaluation in everything, quality, service, and finally.
P.s. I was more attentive, so that the same thing does not happen to me.
The hotel is in a good location in Lisbon. Centre of town and easy to get a cab outside to go further. Overall our room was comfortable and clean, good AC and breakfast was good.
The main downside was the bathrooms which are a bit worn and shabby. The shower worked, but the shower head was a bit rubbish and the rainfall shower always dripped water so would wet your hair. Also the room we stayed in hardly had any free plug sockets to charge a phone etc. The coffee machine in the room was good, but there was no milk. The TV had lots of channels but no YouTube/Smart TV stuff.
The best of the hotel is its location. The rooms clean and the staff very friendly.
Very nice hotel with a great vibe in a highly convenient location to major attractions and transportation. Breakfast buffet was high quality and offered a good assortment. The only criticism would be the same as other comments, the opaque bathroom door doesn't offer the best privacy. Would definitely visit again!

We used twin, but room is not very large.
But there was a feeling of cleanliness and breakfast was also delicious.
It is a Portuguese culture, so there are no toothbrushes in the amenities, so be careful when you go. It was also good that shampoo, conditioner, and body gel were L'Occitane.

The door lock broke and got locked out. And they would not call a locksmith. They could not reach their maintenance staff. Finally got in at 8AM the following morning. The staff was unprofessional and should not be in a hospitality business. The manager wasn t available for 2 days. Then he replied with same attitude as the staff. Horrible place to stay. And really awful service. Never experienced this kind of bad service from a hotel. This was more like a no name motel in middle of nowhere. No accountability. No service.
November 2015. What can I say, perfect from every point of view. From the staff to the breakfast, from the cleaning to the furnishing of the room, from the position to the attention to detail. Furthermore, the hotel looks like a contemporary art museum.

Really well designed hotel. staff super helpful and bilingual. Definitely suggest eating at the restaurant. Can't beat the location, walking distance to most tourist attractions and stops for tram 15/28.

The rooms are small but the location is super if you want to be in the center of the city. Mr. Diago from the front office was very helpful and he gave us very good tips about restaurants, attractions and how to go to Sintra by the coast. I think he's a value for the hotel.

Great location, cool hotel with a great vibe. The only thing I didn't like was the miscommunication of being told breakfast was included in our reservation and then on our second to last day they said it was never included. It was some back and forth, but got the issue resolved.
Located at a great location but i would say that was the only great part.
Rooms are small and also be aware of booking the interior view room as there is no view there.

Very good hotel, the interior is very cool. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Don't miss the Bastardo restaurant, but remember to make an appointment in advance! The experience is great. The decor of the rooms follows the same design philosophy and is particularly creative in the old town houses of Rossio.

Nicely renovated hotel. However, elements of the hotel is showing its wear and age. Ultimately a good clear stay with all the amenities that you need. Interesting concepts with where the bar and restaurant are located.
Very friendly staff and great breakfast included, I was upgraded to a suite with a view overlooking the plaza, three balconies in total! Bed was huge and comfortable, not the most modern bathroom etc but overall a good value for the money! Also the location is pretty unbeatable, the literal center of the city!

A great hotel in a prime location. Well designed hotel with cool artistic posters. Their restaurant design and space us epic. Rooms are clean yet not too big. Our room was facing the square and the touristic area. It s a walking distance to everything. 1 min away from the train. Their breakfast buffet is great too.
Pleasant staff, very clean hotel. The location is top notch because it is close to the Place du Commerce, at the corner of the pedestrian street where there are all the shops and restaurants. Very clean room, towels are changed every day.

We came across unexpectedly when we wanted to chill out after a busy day of side seeing. We were lucky that a reservation was canceled so that we could sit down after a drink and eat in the fantastic restaurant! And also got the best place in the house. If you are looking for really good food, a relaxed atmosphere and also trendy and hip then this is the place to be! Locals only so it couldn't be better.

Location centrally located in Plussa. Each floor has a different theme that can be seen in the rooms. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was ok. The staff was friendly and polite.

Without a doubt the best hotel in all of Lisbon. The hotel is located right off Rossio Square, the main square in downtown Lisbon ( Baixa ) at the junction with Rua Augusta and within walking distance to all the main attractions including Praca Do Comercio and Elevador Santa Justa. The hotel is also within walking distance to the important neighbouthoods of Alfama and Bairro Alto , the nightlife area of Lisbon.
The hotel itself is an architectural jewel with an Art Nouveau exterior and decorated balconies overlooking the main Rossio Square. The interior of the hotel is even more intriguing as it conjures eccentric and alternative art decor with an original evocative decorative design blended with modern architecture .The hotel itself feels like a mysterious labyrinth that you would enjoy exploring as you wander through its corridors. Each floor has its own theme such as Zen on the second floor with statues of buddha and flavours of the far east.
There is an urban garden on the second floor where guests can unwind with a drink and a book and a loft on the top floor.
There is a restaurant on the first floor with sweeping views of the Rossio Square where guests can order an authentic meal or enjoy a delicious cocktail while the sun sets on the exciting city of Lisbon.
My room and bathroom were spacious and the shower was fitted with a rainfall shower head. There was also a huge TV screen and there was complimentary coffee and tea with a minibar and room service.
What made my stay the most enjoyable and memorable were the reception staff of the hotel which made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived, They were more my friends than just hotel staff and made it feel like Lisbon was my home town. They were excellent in recommending day tours and activities to do in Lisbon and helped me in every other aspect possible in getting around the city or recommending places and restaurants to go to. They felt more like my own friends in Lisbon.
I would highly recommend staying here and would most certainly be returning as this truly was my home away from home.
Nice and hard-working staff. The location is perfect, could not be better for a city trip: deep-central, numerous restaurants and bars nearby, most attractions within walking distance, public transportation including metro and trams also nearby. The breakfast is an experience, the croissants are as fresh and soft as in Paris. Rooms are rather small, but still suitable. Hotel-owned restaurant (Bastardo), although not cheap, but the quality and service is great. Can the hotel absolutely recommend.

Top location and beautiful house - from the outside! The service in the hotel tried very hard but could be better trained overall. Unfortunately I couldn't be helped with renting a car. In the room there are no sockets next to the bed, for example to charge the cell phone. You have to connect your cell phone to the vacuum cleaner sockets or in the bathroom. For a hotel in this price range, not great. Overall, the hotel with its worn carpets looks a bit dingy from the inside (would like to design hotel). I didn't feel really well.
I was only able to request the WiFi password by phone at the reception (as I did not receive a corresponding slip on arrival).
The breakfast buffet is dismantled at 11:00 am (that's ok), but at 11:10 am they start vacuuming next to their table - not so cozy either.
The sightseeing recommendations of the reception are totally mainstream - so bland.
All in all, I would not stay here again or try another hotel in a similar location next time.
This hotel is centrally located and a really enjoyable place to base yourself when in Lisbon. The staff are excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The bus to the airport departs from Rossio Square across the road, the metro is minutes away and you can easily access all the main parts of the city from here. The hotel is located right by Rua Agusta the main pedestrian street in Lisbon and I loved being in the heart of everything. There is very little public space in the hotel so if this is something you prefer I would not stay here but for me it was not a problem Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. I also ate in their restaurant Bastardo and it was one of the best meals I had in Lisbon. Floors have different themes and I found the rooms very well appointed overall. As someone who works in the travel industry I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel. I booked direct and got a very good price, cheaper than any third party reseller.
If you're into hotels that have friendly staff clean rooms small toilets tidy and nice corridors and the hotel lets say "communicating with you" there are little jokes and fun stories written all around the hotel
The staff is amazing - they help you with sight seeing information and are just very friendly. They took care of my car rental arrangements - even having the car dropped off and picked up from hotel. I also spilled orange juice on my clothes and they laundered them for free. Their rooms are very unique and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return. Location of the hotel was perfect - walking distance to everything. Thank you Diago for everything!

Have a city trip to Lisbon and stayed for three nights in the hotel. The location is certainly great, but the rest unfortunately average. Staff very helpful and nice, room clean (but very small), breakfast normal standard (the orange juice is awesome) and the food and drink in the in-house bar far too expensive and the price not fair. Since you prefer to eat in the city and gets much more for his money. All in all, I would not stay there again.

Small hotel, excellent services, design, very particular but very central
Great value for money !!!! In the buzz of Lisbon, with wonderful sound insulation! I stayed at the end of the world cup and closing the windows did not hear anything from the screams and songs from outside! Friendly service, de-li-ci-o-so breakfast! Good wifi.
Hotel with good ideas in terms of space design but unfortunately a few negativ points regarding appearance.
The rooms are clean but the bathroom had black stains in the shower (mold stains?) and the rod for hanging the towels would have been better off outside the shower cabin.
The room makes a good impression, only the view could have been better.

The hotel is very centrally located and is perfect to reach by aerobus.
