InterContinental Singapore Review

This is a retro-style restaurant,
If you are tired of business hotels, this is a good choice. Although the hotel is old but well maintained, it is quiet and not noisy.

Food is absolutely great at the Japanese restaurant. Vibes are nice with live musicians at the sitting lounge area. There are also other restaurants serving different cuisines like Spanish as well. Very pleasant place.

Nice friendly staff, good service, clean and well kept rooms.. nice food.

We ordered the Christmas lunch from the intercontinental restaurant. Food was packed professionally. Our family enjoyed the lunch and dessert (hazelnut cake) was just the best. Highly recommended

The atmosphere is great as a building. This place is very nice. The furniture in the rooms, the comfort of the bathroom, everything is perfect.

I was here for a friend's wedding banquet. While the food was decent, I was a tad appalled by the service. The waitress kept refilling my wine glass from another wine glass (rather than the bottle).

Everything was good. Room service was fantastic. It would be even better if they could change up the breakfast menu at the oak&elm more often. (waffles are the best in Singapore though.)

I had a great stay here on business. The room was excellent, it was the first hotel room I did not have to report any repair requests even minor ones.
Breakfast was a great feast as usual, which was always welcome. It was a shake I didn't have time to try the pool. It looked great and the nearby frangipanis added to the atmosphere.

The location is very convenient. Very near to Bugis MRT station which is connected to 3 major line.

Everything you expect from atopline hotel. Very well equipped rooms, excellent gym and seleoof restaurants. Unfortunately also the obligatory extortionate rates for buffet breakfast and laundry.

It is directly connected to Bugis Station and the mall. The interior is also classical and conscious of Peranakan architecture. The welcome gift from TWG, which I received as a Gold Ambassador, was wonderful.

I am staying here in Singapore. In the area called Bugis, it is a good place with plenty of cafes and cheap restaurants.

We love it here! Cant think of staying anywhere else when we are in Singapore, first place we ever stayed in was marina bay sands, not as amazing as intercontinental tho. Singapore = Intercontinental. Stayed here countless amounts of times. Ranging from 2014 - 2017. The staff are all very helpful, friendly and they go above and beyond. Please treat them with respect, just because you can afford to pay for the hotel doesn't give you the right to miss treat the staff.

Attended a wedding lunch and I must say the food is pretty good compare to the hotels I been to.

I do part time work here and from what I have observed the customers does not get 100% of what they pay for.

Great mix of old and new architecture, and very helpful and friendly staff. Location has many shops and restaurants around it so you're never more than a few steps away from whatever you need

very grand, elegant and classy look. lobby is furnished with a piano. soft and warm lighting not glaring to eyes at all. toilets are well maintained, very clean. floor is dry and non slippery. dining restaurant is just at the lobby with fresh food and fine drinks to go with. flavor is just right. ballroom is big and well decorated. sound system sounded good with strong bass. hotel room looks very fine. comes with a good view of the city.

Wonderful location in a grand building, central to the Metro and more.

Recommended if you want to stay close to the mrt and shopping areas.

This review is more for Man Fu Yuan within the hotel itself. Amazing dim sum, definitely check out their salted egg paos - don't get me wrong, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu, but I am all for that salted egg.

If you like very small rooms this is the hotel for. Also you have to step up two feet to get in shower tub. Coming out of shower is scary. Also they only allowed one room key which also controls the electricity in your room. So when you go out all power is cut off including the Air conditioner Come back and room very hot. Also can t recharge equipment while you are out. Not a very classy hotel at all.

Courteous staff, great location , sumptuous breakfast, large rooms even if you are staying in their old wing in Heritage type room type. Washrooms and toiletries are world class. Offcourse they can also start moving towards the new age travelers who are more digital, connected, aware of sustainable practices. They allowed early check-in with complimentary breakfast as a trade off from my better room booked which was completely fine. Breakfast do had couple of vegetarian choices as well tasting nice. Above all the helping staff made the stay memorable.

The room is marvellous and staff is warm and friendly. Tho the pillows are a bit to soft for my family's liking. Other than that, tip top room and hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with fantastic service and excellent location. Multiple restaurants on premise and right in the heart of all that bugis has to offer. Very close to numerous vegetarian options near the temple as well. Mrt is maybe 5 mins away.

Nice hotel and has a very eccentric but premium feel, as it was built by consolidating many shoplots and they have kept some of the facades internally. Backs onto a street mall, which looks nice and is lively. Well situated in a central part of Singapore. Easy to get to a few different places.

Rooms might need some work, awesome breakfast, perfect location

We booked here at the last minute online and went to check in but were informed that there are no more smoking rooms in the hotel at all. Although that was a bit of a let down the lady at check-in was absolutely amazing and arranged our room at a nice hotel nearby that had smoking rooms. She booked the room for us and all. I wish I got her name to credit her because she went far beyond satisfactory customer service, she was phenomenal. Thank you
