Hello after a weekend trip, I have to appreciate the location of the hotel, everything was close, the service was at the highest level, unfortunately it was only available in the middle of the pool, but due to the time of the year, breakfasts more good, everyone could find something for themselves.

We secured a room within 20 minutes and waited close to 3 p.m.
For hours, after the manager intervened with a lot of anger and sadness, we arranged a room for us.

I stayed 6 nights. Hotel is old and water is leaking from old shower booth. They tried to fix 3 times and never get better. We just shower in the bathtub.
Better book 3 or 4 star new hotel, this hotel should be 100$ per night. I paid 200$... It is definitely not 5 star hotel. Just horroble old hotel!!!

Staff were lovely and the bed was very comfortable. However I expect luxury when I pay to stay at a 5* hotel and I don't feel I got it with this stay. Our shower was broken and, despite flagging it a few times, the problems persisted. The dressing gowns and towels were shabby and need replacing. The spa wasn't the luxury I would expect from a 5* - the sauna and steam room were cold on the first occasion I used them and the overall feel was 'dated'. Overall I felt a lack of attention to detail with this hotel - disappointing for a supposedly 5* resort. The location is great if you want to party - not if you want to eat good food and explore the island, as most buses go from Valletta...making any bus journey very time consuming.

Very good service but some rooms suffer from chairs etc being moved on the floor above. Great place overall.

Well situated. No real business facilities. Spacious modern rooms. Reasonable value.

Amazing and award winning customer service. I had a few glitches during my stay, I changed 3 rooms for 2 days, but all challenges were handled brilliantly.

A little bit of cost would have come. Topissime bedding. Pantagruellic breakfast. Lovely staff

A decent intercontinental in a rather seedy part of town (strip clubs, cheap bars, drunken Brits and EFL students)

Overpriced compared to other options. Very dated and hidden costs. Look elsewhere for your stay in Malta.

Excellent hotel, great breakfasts. The area around the hotel is a little busy and loud but avoid and ideal location, close to bus stops to explore this amazing Island.

It's a nice, huge property without a parking space. Private beach is a plus, but they charge you extra for the rooftop swimming pool, unless you are staying in thier suites. Other (free) pools are not too bad though. It is centrally located but I dont know if I really liked being in 'central' place of malta. The surrounding at night wasnt too pleasant with drunk people. Good hotel though!

We were there for the pool and sauna. It was a fine visit, but very dirty and unkempt compared to the fact that it is a 5 star hotel.

they claim it's a 5 star hotel but they don't even have a working air-conditioner... it's not a great experience to sleep in that heat with no AC, avoid at all cost.

There could have been a better repair made, this would break it, not work. You can hear the noisy disco noise well. But generally a good place with good breakfast.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, there are two swimming pools in the hotel, and there is an exclusive beach. There are many restaurants and shopping malls nearby.

Old hotel, veteran service, no surprises, low-rise garden view, outdoor temperature 20 degrees, the answer is that there is no air supply in this season

This used to be a beautiful hotel. Now, it looks a bit old. Rooms are of a good size, but they need a refreshing. Overall, it is not a bad hotel. But, this is probably a 4 stars hotel and not a 5 stars.

Nice but the situation in hyper center makes it noisy.Personnel amiable.Kitchen very good

Hotel without park to park cars and without agreement with the surrounding parks. The nearest park costs 15 / day. Without access to rooftop pool, to be in this pool requires a consumption per person of 60 . Pool quality breakfast and nice little beach. For the cost I think it is possible to get a higher quality hotel.

Luxury hotel, large. A bustling location opposite a mall and close to bars, restaurants and cafes. Excellent service and high standard. 4 pools, stunning rooftop pool, spa and restaurants at the hotel.

Excellent hotel with a both a good indoor and outdoor pool. Also has a great executive lounge with an outdoor seating area and a casino in the basement

Service and balcony view to the garden and pool is great.

One of the best hotels I've ever been in. From walking into the lobby to leaving the entire experience was top notch. Beautiful property and great location.

Tasty food, the only drawback was the languorous service at the bar.

Good hotel in the center of a living area where there is always the party. During low season it is perhaps not a good choice because many of the hotel's attractions, restaurants and bars do not work. very friendly and attentive staff. No parking so you have to use a public parking at 15 euros a night. Very nice indoor pool but only the sauna worked, the "steam" part no. Huge and beautiful gym!

When we have an origin we feel less well treated than the other customers but a thought for Robert and Shanti at the top but the rest unacceptable

The food is varied and tasty with especially kind waiters. Just ask and they will be happy to bring you !!!
Since there is no view they created a huge patio from 7th floor.

I stayed deluxe suite room for 2 nights. Everything was perfect! All staffs was kind and profesional. The only weakness is there is no parking lot for guest(I can use public parking near the hotel. It was charged per hour). I will be back and recommend!

An excellent hotel with a good location both for people who like to have fun and for people who are on business trips.
There are many cafes, bars, clubs and other places to spend your time nearby.

The hotel has a deposit for the room, which is returned after check-out.

The rooms in the hotel are good, the furniture is in good condition, the minibar is packed to capacity (but expensive) and works according to the principle "Pull out of the minibar, then I drank / ate"

A hotel worth recommending. Very rich breakfasts. Swimming pool and sauna available to guests. Only what you can attach to is the location. Unfortunately, the area around the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Unless someone likes night life. Lots of nightlife, lots of young people, often under the influence of alcohol.

I *really* want to give them 5 stars, but a couple of recurring issues with the room prevent my doing so. The worst of which was a non-functional A/C unit which made the room a stifling sauna unless the balcony door was opened. I requested a maintenance visit, but it either went unnoticed or was completely ignored. Temps here in March are only 15C/65F, so I can't imagine what this room will be like in August. The property is nice enough. The staff has been exceptionally attentive. A handwritten welcome note and hand made chocolates were also a very nice touch. The food and drink in the bar was quite good, as was the service.

A great place to wind down, & relax, with super friendly staff. The place to be either after a full day's work or even before going to work. or just as a start or finish to your evening out.

Love the intercontinental hotels. Very nice staff, great food prepared on site. Lovely clean rooms with lots of space and balcony. Nice pool and private beach access.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring St Julians and is particularly close to the restaurants. The hotel beach is a very short walk down the road and beach towels are provided. There is a very lively, rather seedy club district next to the hotel which rather cheapens the area. The hotel incorporates a huge gym - with excellent equipment and friendly staff.

Great for conferences and bachelor parties. Located next to the clubs, and gentleman's clubs of St Julien's. Beware of rooms near to the elevator as became quite noisy with returning revelers at all hours.

A very elegant hotel in an entertainment district with many attractions and its own beach.

Not really worthy of a 4-star intercontinental. But close to the sea

Consistently great service whether you are a guest at the Hotel, Skybeach or one of their restaurants.

Sky swimming pool at 19th floor outside (unfortunately closed when I was there) , swimming pool at 10th floor outside, swimming pool at 5th floor inside and hot water, hammam, sauna, bagno turco, SPA, and relax room.
Beautiful garden at 7th floor, gym at 5th floor.
So, completly services available.
In family rooms, maybe, being a 5-star hotel, a renovation and a more careful cleaning would be useful.
So, in Malta of course 4 stars.
I recommend it if you are in Sant'Julian.

Amazing ace to stay in very luxurious with very welcoming staff.

We were group of five in Malta without having any place to stay due to the last minute cancellation from our previous accommodation. We visited InterContinental Malta and a lady named Ellena in reception did what ever she could to help us. She was very welcoming and professional. The duty manager was also very welcoming and friendly.

Breakfast was also great.

I have stayed in so many different hotels, however staff in InterContinental Malta are the most helpful people. This hotel has a positive vibe and I m so happy we stayed there.

What could be improved:
Although there was nothing wrong with this hotel, I believe the quality of deep cleanliness and maintenance can be little improved. Again nothing major or nothing wrong.

Even that service level of staff is quite ok, this hotel is not in line with expected Intercontinental hotel standard in a way that is worn out, and ready to be refurbished. So list would be long what's not Ok, but please be aware this is only because expectations from hotel of this type is set high.

If this was not famous brand, my review would say decent 4 star hotel, with everything what is needed for couple of days stay.

But again, this is the Intercontinental and it is a promise which is somehow not delivered.

Amazing view, service, staff and food! Highly recommended even if you don't have a room in the hotel. We just stayed at the rooftop and it was a really good moment.

Hotel is nice. It's located in tge midst of bars and restaurants. I'm on the sixth floor. I can hear street noise but it's faint. The staff is exceptional
