InterContinental Malta Review

Nice big hotel. Very luxurious! You have access to an outdoor swimming pool, indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness room, hairdresser, top floor, a luxurious lounge and much more. The rooms are in need of a small renovation!

Great service, beautiful hotel located in the heart of St. Julians.

Nice hotel in the middle of the party and shopping district. You have to like it. We like it if everything is within walking distance especially in the evening. Beautiful private beach club on the small beach.

Construction works during tourist season. All night two diesel engines run in front of rooms. Horrifyng experience.

Room was shabby and smelled musty. The air conditioning was intermittent as was the hot water in the shower. Our view was construction every place we looked.

Cool. It has all the services you may need as well as facilities (indoor, outdoor, children's area, spa, private beach ...) In the heart of Pacceville so you can have party, leisure and restaurant areas at your feet but without noise in the room to rest

Rooms obsolete as well as the pool. A huge hotel located right in the center of night entertainment. It is close to the sea.

Excellent hotel excellent staff this is a great hotel if in Malta for whatever reason this is hard to look past.

The hotel staff are the best thing about the hotel as they are all so kind and welcoming. The food is lovely and the drinks from the bar are great. The outdoor pool is great for kids. Only drawback is that I think the price is a little on the high side for the room which was a little basic with a not great view from the balcony.

Very rude staff at the fitness center. Had to cut my workout short because i did not feel welcome. Avoid this hotel.

Everything from check-in to the moment of check-out was great. Lovely room with a great view. Staff in the Club Intercontinental lounge were particularly attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back soon for another short break.

Five star it the heart of Malta, at the top of the whole island.

The deluxe room adorns everything you may need, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff are exceptional and professionalism is not an optional

It is a really good place to stay. Love the separate shower and bathtab with all the toiletries you may need.

The room is quite large and the equipment is not new but enough.
There are strolls nearby, as well as Bar Street, and the nightlife is very enjoyable.
Be sure to take a tour of the 19th floor infinity pool (additional charge)

The hotel is old. During the renovation, a new external facade was built. Excellent is the egg life kitchen at breakfast. The hotel does not have 24 hours to watch the suitcases.

You get what you pay for. This is quite pricey but worth every penny.

We have a nice stay here. The food is good and even if it's a big hotel everything goes smooth.

Initially, cards for rooms were not working and could not get into our room. However, room stylish and clean. Breakfast food is incredible!!

A great hotel, close to the entertainment area, you should also book the free entrance to the lounge that upgrades the experience, an excellent spa, a huge and well equipped gym

Very nice place. The staff were excellent and the facilities very nice. The restaurants were amazing with great food and even better staff. The only downside is the fact that the area around the hotel is predominantly gentleman's clubs and night clubs.

Fabulous hotel with 3 swimming pools. 2 roof top pool of which the new one on 19th floor is amazingly gorgeous with bar and restaurant but not cheap but definitely worth having a drink their, just don't order liqueurs as we paid something like 28 for 2 drinks The indoor pool is a nice big full sized pool with beds to chill around it. Amazing huge gym also. Love The Water Biscuit restaurant and not too far away is the best Pan Asian place with amazing food. Next door few shops up is a delicious Tapas. We love it! Lots to see and do in area and local bus into Valletta

Very good and friendly staff, very modern room itself, but the bathroom would have to be renovated. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Location perfect for nightlife, many restaurants a few meters away.

Exactly what you would expect from and Intercontinental hotel. Service is great. They treated me for my 30th birthday with a bottle of bubbly and a hand written card. We went at the start of March so it was a little chilly in the outdoor pool. In door pool was kind of warm. Good gym and spa facilities. Quiet hotel break

Impressive ... especially the kindness of its entire staff

1st stay here and was upgraded after arriving to find the bathroom wasn't clean -lots of noise through a broken window seal -then they lost my luggage - week later, at least a clean room - then a very poor experience with the night manager on check out.

Big hotel with gardens, good place for relax or big event

Excellent service in a vast conference hotel. The Club lounge and deluxe suite offer amenities and attention out of proportion to their relatively modest cost.

Excellent hotel in a quiet location and a stone's throw from public transport.
Excellent and clean rooms with truly complete international breakfast.
Double pool on the terrace and inside really wow.
Highly recommended.

Visited years ago. Definitely the best hotel in Malta. Strategic position ... close to the real nightlife of the island. Bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Very nice experience in this hotel (Guest Room) Very nice staff on the 1st day but very unpleasant on the second and last day .... Too bad but I recommend it anyway! The pool on the roof and very nice but in case of an event you are treated poorly and you return to the terrace without a pool! Book your sun loungers!

The hotel although having small worries related to the climate is very nice, the room spacious and clean, the staff very pleasant and helpful!

The room is old, but the swimming pool is great, the middle one seems to be a warm pool, and it is very comfortable to go swimming at night.

December 2019 for a business seminar everything was fine, personal care and super well indicated, small negative view of the room and the TV that does not work, thankfully we were not there for that. Looking forward

As usual diamond suites@ the intercontinental in Malta are the perfect place to unwind after a very busyfirst half of the year. Wendy as always is kind and courteous with a welcoming smile and lots of information about what's happening around the place. Sad to see we're losing the garden side for a while but that's progress i suppose. The hotel as ever is immaculate and wven though not so many familiar faces the new ones are well up to standard. Another great holiday thanks everybody. David

Great hotel, great location, great service, great beach, good breakfast. Great quality per cost deal. They have a huge outside swimming pool, nice side roofed swimming pool, open until 10pm, dry sauna and wet one. Good outdoor restaurant (bring something to cover yourself with, might be a chilled breeze in the evening. But food a D service deserve it!
