My girlfriends and I went to the InterContinental Saturday. The beats were off and the dance floor was dead. As a woman, I was offended of how they used a barely dressed female DJ that was there only for looks and not skills. This club should be banned for such grotesque misogyny. If you're going to have a woman DJ, have her dressed and with skills. Not someone who looks like they're trying to audition as your little clueless bunny. SMH

The hotel was ok. The restaurant service was extremely slow. It took 30 mins for 2 eggs and grits. There were only 2 other tables with seated guest not sure why it took so long. The spa experience was extremely lack luster. My actual massage therapist was excellent. The spa experience disappointing

I stay here for business. Not much to say except this is one of best hotels in Atlanta/Buckhead. Rooms are comfortable, the breakfast/lunch options in the restaurant is really good (especially the breakfast buffet option) and the service is prompt and they cater to your needs. Definitely a place to stay if you are in the Buckhead area.

I ve stayed here once before and had a great experience. This was my second visit and it was very disappointing - largely due to lack of customer service and engineering issues . Upon check-in we asked if we had to make reservations for dinner at SA. We were told no reservations were needed. We then went to our room and we had no turn down service/complimentary chocolates (as I had at my first stay experience). Next, we went downstairs for dinner but when we arrived at the hostess desk they asked if we had reservations - to which we said no. We then waited for 45 minutes for a table after having been told by the front desk that no reservation was required. Dinner itself was great and we have no complaints about SA. After retreating back upstairs to bed and turning in for the night, we were abruptly awoken at 2:30am by a very loud screeching and banging noise that went on for 15-20 min. Security was sent upstairs and another guest on the 22nd floor was calling about the same disruption. We requested a room change and were moved at about 3am. For all this we were compensated a whopping 1000 points for a future stay (which we likely will not use at this point) and a $50 credit. This is supposed to be a 5-Star hotel and a relaxing bday weekend celebration for me. If your guests can t sleep well, you have failed at your most basic service requirement to them.

Stay away from this place. Horrible customer service, rooms are very dirty, bathrooms worse. Food is ok though very pricy. I wouldn't stay here again, especially with so many other good places so near

The hotel was fantastic. Parking was a little expensive at $28 for the night we stayed. All of the staff were great and it is a beautiful place to stay. The amenities are exceptional. If I were to make one complaint it is that the water pressure in our room was weak and more importantly the temperature fluctuated usually to a much hotter setting.

Excellent hotel in the Buckhead area about 20 minutes north of downtown Atlanta which is the only negative about the hotel but it could also be positive if you don't want to stay in the downtown area. The hotel and room were very clean, the bathroom and specially the steam shower were great. The pool and jacuzzi are located outside at the back of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The bed and pillows were too firm, limited television selection, 1 sugar and 2 artificial sugars provided for coffee for 2 guests. Limited room in fridge to leave leftover dinner and drinks. No valet or room service due to pandemic. Nice designs, but the outside lobby doesn t compare to all the limitations of what s inside.

The conference room was nice, there were plenty of restrooms and the food was decent. I was here for a company event. Parking was fairly expensive, but typical for Buckhead and traffic in the area, even at 2pm wasn't great. I was impressed enough with the lobby and conference area to make me want to book a room just to have a weekend getaway.

The stay was amazing, the employees were very kind. Could not be more happy about the room, its cleanliness and space. The only negative aspect was the price for parking was insanely high.

We were in town for a family event for three nights. Upon arrival we found that the sink stopper wouldn't release, the shower ran cold for 30 minutes before heating up and the toilet wouldn't flush. It was all fixed but....Now for the good news: I left an item in the restaurant on our last day there and didn't realize it until landed at home. I called the hotel's lost & found and was relieved to speak with Oswald who confirmed that the item was found and he will Fedex it immediately. Super-pleasant fellow, helpful and kind. 5 stars for Oswald!!!!!

My girlfriend and I planned on having a great even...

My girlfriend and I planned on having a great evening of booking a room and having dining, music and a great time and the InterContinental Buckhead. Unfortunately, the staff was very rude and when checking out the music, the vibe was horrible and the music organization was pathetic. They had a lady pouring out of her revealing garments but didn't know what she was doing. It appears management seems desperate to get people to dance. We ended up going to the W and danced and had a great remainder of our evening.

The InterContinental needs to get friendly staff and people who actually know what they're doing. No one cares about the gender of your DJ so get someone who is great at what they do. It's not okay to play up sexist stereotypes.

I am really displease with my short visit at this hotel, I will not be recommending any of my family or friends here. One of their front desk receptionist signed me up for some kind of club something. I told the receptionist no I did not want to be apart of that because I was only here for a training and since I live so far would not be returning. I check my account and unauthorized money has been taken from my account. I will elevate this further, if not taken care of immediately.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and found it clean, luxurious and with a lot of personality. All employees are cheerful and very friendly. The aerial of the pool is very nice and quiet. The breakfast buffet is divine and the beds super comfortable. I can not wait to return!

The stay itself is nice, but I wonder about American Standard of Intercontinental?
If you compare to Asia or Europe standard of Intercontinental, this American Hotel is nothing special at all! Americans may be treated differently here.... I will not stay again.

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband & I. The Intercontinental at Buckhead should not be considered a luxury destination. We booked for little over a week stay due to us moving into the downtown area. Upon checking in, our luxury bags stayed on the bellman s cart and were outside so long that I personally had to go back down to grab them. Everything was completely completely unattended. The majority of the bellmen doing nothing, but talking amongst theirselves. The car fees are expected $50 each night for upfront parking, the bellmen take awhile to get your keys, approx. 10-15min wait times. Unless you updated to upfront parking like we did.(See more below about valet)
Our room was completely disappointing as well. This property needs to be renovated, reminds me of my grandmother s old 1980-90s styled house.
Even she knows when to get something updated! The furniture is old and stained. The halls smell of marijuana. Housekeeping/GS won t allow you to be in the room with your belongings, or allow in the room period ridiculous for a Five Star hotel that seems silly. (See more about housekeeping below) After our first few days Construction began soon after in the room above us, we called the front desk to question what was going on. They acted completely oblivious to the situation.
Room service the second night made us sick, please avoid it if you can.

The only thing notable here are the views which you can find else where downtown.

Speaking of the STAFF
As much money as we spent here (approx over $2,000) you d think the staff wouldn t be so curt and actually try to be at least a little accommodating especially after tipping WELL! I had an issue where my lovely very well behaved cat had to stay for a few hours, we were charged almost a whopping $1,000 for him to stay. They charged us $100 a night even though he hadn t stayed the duration. Apparently the staff are not pet friendly even though they are allowed through fees.
They literally DO NOT care about you or any situation you have going on.
The payment issue was only slightly resolved (see more below)

Valet:
I came out the room to pick up an order I placed, and noticed our car was not there and we had paid for upfront parking, so I called my significant other to ask him what was going on, and he called valet, valet had lost our car told us they didn t know where it was. The hotel and valet staff are separately employed. So, the hotel staff did nothing.
We ourselves found it parked in their garage an hr later.

Housekeeping:
I hadn t asked a thing from housekeeping the whole week, but when I finally did ask I waited an hr for them to show, and I declined them at that point. The next time I asked for just tissue paper we had been waiting for the entire day.

Upon leaving we were still being charged several unauthorized charges and the only thing the hotel did was take our numbers twice and never call us back.

PLEASE STAY AT THE RITZ OR WALDORF ASTORIA INSTEAD.
I certainly will never be staying here we wasted over $2,000 trying to have an amazing experience. This is a 3-Star hotel at best.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in a suite and it was the best experience I've ever had in a hotel ever. Even considering this stay was right in the midst of the Covid pandemic and things are slowly just opening back up they were so accommodating and nice. The place was clean and precautions were taken to keep us safe. Ms Guerda was the best! I would recommend this hotel 100 times again.

Rooms are nice but DO NOT PARK THERE... Because they use an escalating hourly rate, if you leave throughout the day and come back and then leave again you will pay well over the 28$ hour rate they will try to tell you. Each day I averaged $45 a day. It would have been cheaper if I just used Uber the entire time. Rooms are nice but they stick it to you on the parking.

The rooms were nice, however when my daughter went to take a bath after the pool party, the bathtub drain would not work. We called the front desk and someone showed up within minutes but was unable to fix the problem. The kind sir was able to at least drain the tub so my other daughter could bath, but again, the actual issue was not fixed. I could also hear through the walls very well. At night the hallway fills with the smell of marijuana. That was fun to explain to my 9 and 10 year old daughters...

Why stay anywhere else in Buckhead? We had our wedding at the InterContinental & had family fly in from the Northeast for the weekend. From the staff, the rooms, the space & the grounds, IHG knows how to display luxury & class with comfort & southern hospitality. The Bourbon Bar is always busy, making outstanding drinks at fair prices & Southern Art is the perfect spot for dinner. Forget everyone else on Peachtree in Buckhead, the InterContinental is your home while in Atlanta!

Very friendly staff who went the extra mile. If I were staying in the area I would stay here again. Only downside, but not worth deducting a star, is the price of the minibar. I sure was flying in and wanted a water. I found the price list and found out it was $6 for a water... no thank you! Really though, I didn t buy it so I didn t deduct a star.

The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend staying at the Intercontinental Buckhead!

The room at this hotel was awesome!!! It was quite large, with one of the biggest bathrooms I can remember. There was a huge tub and separate large shower. The sink was in another room, which would have been especially great if I had been traveling with a companion.

The beds were comfortable, the temperature was easily controlled (I like it cold when I sleep), the pillows were great.

I didn't have the opportunity to spend much time in the room, but it was certainly pleasant enough to make me wish I could have been there more!

Great place stay in Atlanta. Awesome hotel. Walking distance to the shopping areas. Location is great - in the heart of Buckhead. Marta is close - across Peachtree Street. A dozen
Restaurants are at a 5 minute walk. Mall is close and there a cool coffee shop a few minutes away.

I recently stayed as an overnight guest got a professional event. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is in a great location, close to many restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The hotel itself is elegant, but comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and offer convenient amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a small, but sufficient fitness center which is across the way from a rooftop pool overlooking the grounds. There is also an on-site spa; however, I cannot speak to it. I ate at the restaurant one night and ordered room service the other. Everything was absolutely delicious and fairly prices relative to other hotels. My only criticism is related to the conference rooms, which were very cold; however, this is an ongoing theme for conference centers and to be expected.

The only thing good about this hotel was the room. Literally. I'm not confident that these other reviews are even from real people that have ever even stayed here. I decided to pay the extra $60 for the "Continental Breakfast", huge mistake! You're better off walking across the street to the Chick Fil A. Our first night here we tried to take advantage of the restaurant on site called Southern Art. The fried chicken was BLAND. The salmon was burnt and dry. What a waste of $150! Yeah.... You read that right. Two meals for $150 with such dissatisfaction. If you can afford to throw away $1400 on a weekend you aren't satisfied with, then this is the place for you.
