Intercontinental Al Ain Resort Review

A solid four star hotel - the premises are a bit dated, but as such there is nothing to fault except for just that. It is conveniently located, has good restaurants and bars, family friendly with a huge surrounding to be explored.

Excellent family hotel, swimming pool for swimming, one for splashing and one for chilling. Very good reception, excellent value for money

We stayed here on this EID holiday for a night and the place is quite good but a bit overused. Definitely needs some renovation here and there. The pool area is very good for kids and adults and you can spend a lot of time there. Very close to the city, and the breakfast was very good too. Overall it s a nice place to spend good time with the family

The hotel is very nice and close to the public street, shopping malls and markets .. The price is good compared to the facilities of the hotel and the services provided and have been listened to a lot by me and my family.

Very nice place! Staff is friendly and polite. Amenities are very good too! Specially the pool. Not very crowded.

I recommend to visit a beautiful place and receive the most beautiful lobby is very large and the rooms are clean I will visit again

The atmosphere of the hotel was amazing.Well designed inside out however Oasis cafe needs some improvement as the Turkish coffee was not even close to the traditional one, also the menu is not accurate as what I received was lacking of all the details what was mentioned in the description.When we questioned it we were said that no it doesn t come with this and no it s not like that even if the menu clearly describes the food.Very disappointing BUT the waiter was really helpful and tried his best to complete my order and make it come true.All credit goes for him!!!

I booked the date of January 1, 2020 in the Danat Al Ain resort, with the stay on the date 18-18 January 2020. I was surprised when I arrived at the resort that it was closed because of the rain according to the words of the receptionist. The closure was from January 11, 2020 and I was not notified and I am carrying the resort s official, which caused me troubles. Great and many expenses.

Pools were great and well supervised. Kids loved it every day. Super place if your visiting the area. Meals good and pleasing variety especially for families.

Outside dining by the pool. Good meal for a good price. Alcohol is expensive. Would go again though...

This 5 star hotel is a good option to stay at Al Ain. They offer a good relaxing experience if you are ready to deal with personel that doesn't speaks well English. The food inside is really expensive, food quality though. The rooms are Spacey but they are old.whike most of the hotels nowadays offer you USB chargers this had nothing. Small details such as closet's door broken, washroom shaving mirror light burnt, no ice machine in the floor (you need to call the reception which will.contact you with the service restaurant and they'll bring it to your room after 20 minutes...)
The pool is nice. Big enough and with different deep levels.
My recommendation is try to get an offer with included breakfast and eat all you can, then go out for the day and have a late lunch/dinner.

Quiet, beautiful garden, some bad services maybe covid

Clean and tidy hotel, has had its heyday but still very luxurious. All grounds immaculately attended to. Good choice of dining but we only used the Megiddingons bar (on an Irish theme). Very nice Guinness!

The breakfast buffet was wonderful and distinct and had a varied menu

A family friendly hotel with pools that kids will love.

Good property for family and friends. But unfortunately did not get to use pool as it was closed due to floodes. Which definitely affected ,children play area and surrounding.

The worst hotel experience, my story is in boring detail
After booking the first night at the reception, a virus covid was examined, after which gatherings without any social distancing, a group of young people and others gathered together, more than 12 people, by virtue of that they were a group.
The shock Pictures of new furniture and new furniture The shock and reality is not dirty brushes the most thing The first half of the hour the air conditioner does not cool. I asked the engineer to see. He asked me to wait as he was doing the repair. I went through a courier text and he came back and said that the air conditioner only needs to fill a coolant. I waited hours until the room became the outside. Other, the same problem I found after hours at the end of the night. I went to the reception for the sixth time. I found some inmates with a solution to the air conditioning problem. Some of the inmates from companies told me that the air conditioning was his problem for her around the week and the repair did not take place. He said to me, after hours, you will get your money back after four days. My money was recovered. Some of the problems with them were stalling to retrieve the money. The money was recovered to my bank account after two days. They withdrew the money again when they contacted them and tried to hide their withdrawal of the amount. They were saying that there are no accounting employees when they were threatened to make a complaint. Amount I would not recommend

Great hotel. The room and facilities in general are clean and well maintained. Nice atmosphere in general ( simple and not pretentious) Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Food is delicious and the resturansts within the hotel have a variety of cuisine. I personally loved the breakfast buffet :)

Danat has a very relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for a quiet weekend away it's definitely the place to go. The Mcgetichans here is intimate they have an awesome teacher and health care discount of 40%. The pool bar also has a discount of 25%.

Over all enjoyed the stay at the facility.But, bit more effort by team and the management,hotel should have been more potential. There are lot of changes need on exterior.Pool and the Garden liked a lot:Kids had lords of fun at pool and play area.breakfast just ok,even lots variety was there, sausages was over cooked, buffet hot holding temperate wasn t enough to keep the food warmer. Front office team has to be ready with all the details like Breakfast,Lunch and dinner packages.shouldn t say no to the guest.will definitely come back, because house keeping and room services.their services was excellent.

The resort is beautiful but lacks some ground modifications
The bathroom has a drainage hole for water to collect water
The room number 500 is surrounded by central air conditioners with a nuisance length of the day
The variety is varied and beautiful

We had a great time at this resort! Very clean rooms, friendly staff and great food. We loved the variety of food served in the breakfast buffet and the lovely view from restaurants. I chose a deluxe room and were staying with 2 small kids which means a lot of mess. Special mention to the housekeeping team and Me Roberto for their wonderful service . You will leave with a smile from here!

Good family resort. Best thing is located in quite place but just 7km drive to Al Ain mall

I LOVE IT....

So nice hotel swimming pools, one for the kids, one for adults and an Olympique one also

We stayed there for two nights and we loved it. Me and my kid loved the swimming pool, garden, kids play area, the choice of restaurants, the free breakfast, Gym, Jacuzzi and Sauna. The Olympic size swimming pool for adults was really good for adults to swim and relax because it was not crowded. We stayed there for Christmas and the we loved the Christmas decorations around the hotel.
This hotel is very close to Al Ain Mall, Jebel Hafeet and Al Ain Zoo.
As i read other reviews the only problem many people has find is they are unable to check in early. We also faced the same issue and we waited for more than a hour. But the hotel staff were kind enough to upgrade our room and made our stay joyful and pleasant.

Positives: large room, comfy bed, friendly staff at check in, pool facilities
Negatives: paper thin walls (little sleep as neighbours chatting all night and could hear every word and bathroom visit), no late check out to try and catch up on missed sleep, smoke wafted into our non-smoking room through the a/c, dated decor

We went for the seafood buffet which was a big let down because they don't serve oysters on the buffet anymore

It has a Beautiful scenery but I loved the swimming pool more.

It was my birthday, Danat housekeeping staff had decorated my room with balloons and they made me a birthday cake.You have to request for the cake when you make the initial booking. Generally the housekeeping staff and breakfast staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. The valet parking service is very good aswell.

Very good for family. Prices are reasonable and facilities are adequate - 2 gyms, 2 pools, playgrounds, restaurants and a great breakfast buffet!

Danat has become a home away from home for me, the staff has become like family with their warm smiles. A nice and cosy place which is only busy during holidays.
