I have made so many friends from around the world while volunteering with Intercambio! Best teacher training ever! And all I needed was to speak English!!!

I joined intercambio to improve my English because of the offer and the incredible cheap price.
I found teachers that were giving everything from their HEART, connecting with the students, becoming a close-friendly support.
I found the staff as totally givers. Completely involved in giving service, making all their students feel welcome and supported.
I found activities organized with the only intention to create community.
I found a great family and I still had the chance to work with them for nearly one year. Opportunity which was very supportive for me at that time.
I actually work for the YMCA as a wellness coach and I am still in touch with Intercambio community so I can volunteer and give back at least some of what I received.
Thank you to all Intercambio Volunteer and Staff members!!!!

If you want to volunteer somewhere, you can make a huge difference by volunteering at Intercambio. I did, and I learned great teaching skills, met some amazing people that are friends for life, and I always leave smiling & feeling energized!

Bringing adult English students and volunteer teachers together! We need more of the Intercambio way in the world.

Intercambio is an organization of which I'm proud to be a part. The mutually beneficial and uplifting mission supports the entire community.

I found Intercambio institution about one year ago just by googling. I emailed to Raquel Habib, one of the community managers of intercambio. We exchange different emails because I was not sure that they are the best choice for english classes. But they were better that the thing I had in my mind!
Raquel answered all my questions patiently and after a telephone conversation and one free session I registered in Advanced english classes. My current teacher Ami Sadler is a wonderful and devoted woman in teaching and leading us in a correct way. All other employees and managers of intercambio are so friendly too.
Now I am happy that I feel I am part of this beautiful community and also I have made lots of friends there.

Intercambio offered me the confidence and the tools to teach English. As a volunteer teacher, you get substantial support by having the lessons already structured, so that you don't have to worry about coming up with your own lessons. That saves a lot of time for someone who is also working a full time job.
The Intercambio ESL curriculum is great. The lessons are structured in a way that covers life skills, culture tips and grammar. Many of the lessons strike up very rich and interesting conversations between my student and I.

Great organization. Their team is well organized, available, responsive, and helpful. They create authentic and connections/relationships between those who already live here and those who are new to the area and culture!

As a volunteer teacher I love the connection I have with each of my students. To see each student's dedication to learning the English language and connect with other members of their community has been one of my best rewards through this experience. Welcoming, warm and fun people! I teach with Intercambio and they provided great training for me and the books have excellent, interactive exercises.

As a former Spanish teacher and experienced ESL teacher Intercambio is committed to effective ESL curriculum development and implementation. Their staff works with you and your schedule to get you teaching English in one-on-one and group class settings as fast as possible in a setting where the students are really learning and developing their second (and sometimes third or fourth) language skills that they are using on a daily basis in Colorado.

It's a place where we learned our second language: English.
In Intercambio we felt welcomed to reach Boulder. Intercambio is a wonderful place , they're embraced and gave us support in different areas of our new life in USA.

Great community building organization with very friendly staff!

I was a volunteer teacher and loved the experience. Though teaching English is the ostensible reason for volunteering, the rewards go much deeper - you connect with someone from another culture in a much deeper way that enriches the lives of all involved and brings people and communities closer together.

Intercambio is a great organization that is working to not only empower immigrants through English language classes but also to strengthen the community through building cross-cultural connection. I'm fortunate to live in a community that is impacted by Intercambio, and really lucky to be part of the team!
