I went in looking around for merchandise and to look at some bikes. I would have liked to talk to someone and to sit on a few to get a feel but with only two other customers in the store I think, everyone seemed to busy to help. Goad I'm not a local and I don't have to shop the there. Store was very nice though.

I had an absolutely amazing experience today in the service department. Larry and Edgar did not have any appointments available but were able to get me in on very short notice. Came in for an oil change, turned out my rear tire & brakes were COMPLETELY worn out. Now I'm ready for Nashville! Thanks so much guys, see you in the Fall!
Awesome place! We were on vacation and we always stop at the nearest Harley store. It was a bit of a trip from downtown Chicago, but the closest one. Friendly staff, nice clothing selections.
I went in for parts and was given a lot of attitude by the lady at the desk. I came in here looking to buy something but their lack of professional insight did not impress me so I decided to do research and get the parts online. Overall, very unfriendly shopping experience.
Just bought my Ultra Limited. Love the ride!!! Service was great all around but want to give a personal shout out to Krystine! She was awesome congratulating me and helping me decide on some riding gear!!
Mike in parts was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable in locating a hard to find part for my bike. After speaking with him on the phone for a few minutes he was able to locate the part and have it delivered to the dealer in a day. Thanks Agian Mike!
Don t even breathe the word buell. Even though my year buell shares dozens and dozens of common parts with similar year sportsters, as soon as you say buell they dismiss you. Guy at the parts counter didn t even look at the part in my hand, which is identical to a sportster btw, before he laughed and said can t help you .

Went in for two exhaust gasket and 4 exhaust studs nuts. Maybe 24.00 in parts. Walked out with a 500.00 bag full of cool HD gear. Dam you guys. Now i have to eat soup all week. They took my lunch money again!!
Guess it could have been worse.. Could have bought a 2019 SG lol. Good shop, nice people.
Recently while travel with a group of motorcycles. One bike developed a problem with the shaft on the shifter linkage. We called ahead, were greated warmly, and told they would take us in as soon as we arrived. They fixed the issue right away, and we were back on the road.
My salesman was great, but the finance person lied to me about my trade in gave me a real low ball number, and told me he couldn t sell my trade in for more then $3900 so I go online and see it selling for $5000. I will never step foot in Illinois Harley for the rest of my life
Wish I could have rated it less. We where traveling with 4 members of our Austria Chapter. They rented bikes from here. When we got here to return the rental, another member had a bad tire. It was 3 pm on a Sunday and we still needed to get back to Michigan.. They would not help us. They offered to sell us a tire for $300.00 but would not change it. 5 of us ended up stuck in town until Monday when the local Yamaha dealer opened. The best part new tire installed $254.00.
I was a little skeptical about visiting this dealer after reading some reviews, and I my self am a critic when it comes to customer service and that's the only time when I go out of my way to leave a negative feedback. But, my experience was different and my expectations where exceeded at the way everyone there at Illinois Harley took care of me, I went there on a Saturday so you can imagine how crowded and busy it was, I went to visit the service department as I was towing my motorcycle there, rapidly R.B at the service desk took very good care of me and immediately had his guys bring down my bike from the trailer. R.B explained my options with full detail and was very very fair with prices, and with what would be more convenient for me, in fact I thought I was gonna more. I left my bike there over a few days since parts needed to be ordered, R.B keep me updated with everything and was always there to answer my questions every time I called. My bike was finish in less time than expected and other small imperfections In the bike where corrected that I notice.
Thank you guys at Illinois Harley-Davidson and thank you R.B
This is one of the worst run Harley-Davidson dealers in the Chicago area & maybe the country! You should avoid this place like the plague! RUN ... RUN ... RUN....!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've had some interaction with the parts & motorcycle clothes departments which have been so-so. They tend to NOT to stock many parts & have a difficult time finding parts they are supposed to have in stock. This is a clear sign of disorganization & poor management. But in particular, their service department is in need of a complete overhaul! They are completely over-whelmed & it shows. They consistently over-promise & under-deliver in the most pathetic manner possible. I've had my 2007 Road King in the service department on three occasions since they moved into their new building in Countryside. I was initially really impressed with the new facility. It is beautiful & very inviting, but is completely wasted on the employees that work there. The problems start with not being able to pick up the phone. This dealer DOES NOT have a designated person to answer the phone like 99% of most businesses. When you call, the phone rings about 15 times & is picked up by what seems like the employee who can't stand to hear it ring anymore. Don't even think about asking to speak to service. They will put you on hold & never come back. It took me 5 phone calls on one occasion to just get someone to pick up. Only after pleading with a girl in motorcycle clothes to walk over to service & physically put the phone in the service manager's hand, was I able to speak to a live person. This happened on about five separate occasions. I finally gave up & stopped calling. I had to actually drive to the dealer to speak to the service guys. When you do get the honor of speaking with one of the service techs you immediately get the feeling that you are a burden on them. You automatically know that they couldn't care less about you or your bike. If you complain about these issues they come back at you with "you are not our only customer" or "we get bikes in here every day needing work." Like I said, they couldn't care less if you were paying them to do so. Don't bother reaching out to the General Manager Carol - does NO GOOD in the long run. Their complete lack of customer service will be the downfall of this dealer. After about 10 phone calls & a month of waiting for an estimate on my bike I finally gave up & had Heritage Harley-Davidson in Lisle go pick up my bike. I received better customer service in a ten minute phone call from Heritage than I have in two years with IL Harley. If you want good customer service call Chris at Heritage HD. He will take care of you. Don't waste your time with these guys at IL Harley. You've been warned!
HEY YOU GUYS. I love these guys. The inside is like a museum. They are open weekends. And there service when I was broke down in the middle of a thousand mile trip was incredibly friendly and professional. PS my little Liberty took the thousand miles home all in one chunk. And this old guy stayed on top of her the whole way.
What can I say ?? The whole team went totally out of their way to make sure I got my bike in time, they really worked around the clock to make it happen, big thanks goes to Joe, Larry, Edgar , Bill and specially Jim that worked his butt off even tho he was supposed to go home , So yes I will keep coming back to get all my bike s needs taking care of in Illinois Harley in Countryside, huge thanks to all of you guys
I brought the lady in just so she can "sit on a bike" as I'm urging her to get a Harley. In fact I urge all my friends to drink the koolaid. Once upon a time I did a DJ gig for an art show here. Everything looks great! Go talk to Casey!
Illinois Harley is a awesome shop, I had wonderful service! Comparing to the other shops that are not as helpful or lack of service, I felt like I was with family I didn t see in long time, very helpful and great service! This is most definitely my favorite shop and will always go here first before the others! Keep up the good work guys and gals!!
Great store. My kid took his riders edge class here. The staff was friendly. The prices on used bikes are good. They are willing to work hard to make the deal work.
Horrible management and customer service!!!!!!! Took my money, my deposit for bike and told me need a day to get the bike ready. The next day told me bike was already sold!!!!!!! Scammers and no good business practices!!!!! Be aware all!!!!!!!! Don t get your hopes up and don t trust these people!!!!!!!!
Very friendly and helpful staff. I went in for an estimate on some repairs and was helped quickly and I was very satisfied with the knowledge of the service department. I will definitely be returning to have the work done on my bike and if the techs doing the work are half as good as the rest of the service department they will definitely get another good review.
Disappointed as I have come here many times it wasn't that busy and I was buy just one thing waited at the counter for 20 minutes and felt like I was an inconvenience when finally taken care of.
I wanna give a big thanks to Mike in parts! He assisted me on Sunday with ordering my rinehart inverted air cleaner! Which came in today. Wow super fast and It looks awesome!! Thanks again for everything Mike!!
it was great. The sells person was great. The finance person was great. They explained everything to me n full detail. They told me wht I needed. Best experience I've had n yrs. Thanks Illinois Harley Davidson
I went to Illinois Harley to purchase some parts for my Dad for Father s Day, I had no real clue what I was buying or should buy but the parts manager Mike was very helpful and kind in helping me get what I needed. I was very happy with his help!
Had a great experience after a rocky start. We had a slight misunderstanding after scheduling a test ride, but they handled it the best way possible. Guest service is on point. Left with the bike that was a match for me. This place takes care of its first responders. Thank you guys.
Without wasting more of my time I'll make this short and to the point. I have never been treated this bad by any business in my life. The service manager (RB) should not be in a job that requires interaction with customers. The mechanic I dealt with was incompetent. The parts department could care less about helping find parts you need which I ended up having to do on my own only to tell me my part was wrong, which turned out to not be the case. I can't believe they are still in business with these business practices. This place is clearly in it for the money and the fastest road to making money with the least resistance. I WAS a loyal customer, buying my oil, filters, chrome, shirts, hats, etc. from here but not anymore. Was wanting to buy a street glide next year but I won't from here and you shouldn't either! And don't give me the BS about how you strive to be the best because you don't so save the response about Bill making things right because it's crap! I look forward to seeing this place starve and go out of business!
I bought a used sportster here. It said mechanic special on it so I knew I would be putting some time into it but had no idea what a basket case I had been sold. They charged me $300 for an inspection report. I asked to see this report but was told it was a dealer fee. So I paid for nothing. I didn't test ride the bike because the battery was dead. Anyway ended up taking it to another honest Harley dealer who could tell just by listening it needed at minimum $1000 in repairs for parts some they said I would be spending several thousand just to get it running right. TOO bad I already bought the bike. Do not but from this dealer I have been to numerous other Harley dealer and they have all been honest and helpful.
We rent an Ultra Standard from Italy last year to ride across the States. The first one had the tour pak damaged and it was not possible to lock it. We told the guy at Eaglerider desk and he replied: it's not my business, this is the bike, I'm sorry, I'm not responsable for this issue!! AND WHO THE HELL IS RESPONSABLE???? YOU ARE RENTING ME A DAMAGED BIKE!!! THAT'S YOUR BUSINESS!! In the evening, in Chicago, the bike had engine problems so the following morning we got back there to change the bike and after few discussions we had a yellow Limited just because a mechanic came in and told the Eaglerider guy to absolutely change the Ultra Standard, 'cause had problems. When we got back after 15 days we had a yellow cab paid by Eaglerider contract for the airport: the guy told us we could get the bus to go to the airport. Actually the worst Eaglerider/HD staff ever met.
It's a okay place. They throw good bike shows. I went and some dude got punched in the face for walking up on some Outlaws. Think he thought he was apart of the club lol.
Service Department treated me like they were doing me a favor!
Brought in my Road King for an estimate after a wreck. Took them 3 weeks to perform the estimate. Made me pay in full in advance for all parts and service. Took 5 weeks to get the parts. During that time I went in and asked to have the bike back (because it's rideable) to take it on a weekend trip. They made me wait for an hour for the porter to get the bike. 2 weeks later i called them and the parts had come in...
I brought in the bike again. The next day they called me and asked me where my bike was.... When I told them they already had it, they found it and explained that it should be ready in less than a week due to low work volume in service dept.
9 days later I called them again and was told that it would be another week before they could begin the work on it. Since this dealership is owned by the group that owns several dealerships within the Chicago area, I would assume that the service department at the other dealerships runs at the same level of quality service.

Former employee at this dealership. I Grew tired of being over worked and underpaid so i moved on to another harley dealer. Yesterday i stopped in to buy some parts because i live down the street from ILHD. Carol ferguson told me i was no longer welcomed in Illinois Harley Davidson and to take my money to the dealer that i work for. Bunch im immature people as management. Very rude and very disrespectful.
Edgar, the service manager, is top-notch and so is his staff. Professional, speedy, thorough, and quality work. I ve been coming here for years. Finally wrote a review.
I plan my day around this Harley location. Great restaurants , Point Blank Gun and range. Good shopping location . Then into my favorite Harley Dealer. Super friendly staff. Nice selection of merchandise and apparel. The bike selection is also impressive . Would highly recommend .
Terrible veteran tried to sell them a bike disabled marine they lied to him and told him he had an oil leak took it to other Harley was informed was no leak what has this country come to American made motorcycle dealer tried to rip a marine off recommend no service members deal again with them very sad
Funny, my husband and I had the EXACT same experience as Michael over the last two and 1/2 weeks. Had the bike (which was actually running at the time) towed in because the check engine light came on and there was a clunking noise coming from the left side. Looked up a few things online and immediately called HD corporate customer service. Explained what had happened and they opened up a claim. I called Illinois HD to let them know the bike was being towed in and gave the service writer the claim number explaining why the bike was being towed in. Two days later, we hadn't heard anything. Husband calls and writer says 'oh we had no idea why the bike was brought in'. After two full weeks of our calling in (this service dept does NOT answer their phone and when they do, you're given the run around that they are busy and they'll call you back, they don't have an engine tech available to look at the bike, or ask, 'what's the problem with the bike again, etc etc...Show up 2.5 wks later and service mgr tells us they can't diagnose the bike because it now needs a battery. You couldn't tell us this 2 wks ago? Are you freaking kidding me? I don't know what skills the service mgr actually has but they certainly aren't 'people'. He has no desire to actually KEEP customers coming into the shop nor does he appear to care. When we arrived to pick up, the now NOT running bike, the service mgr pushes the bike outside, hands us the key and says 'HERE YOU GO'. My husband says, no charge? 'NOPE' and he turns and walks away. We walk outside, and immediately call roadside assistance to get it towed back home.
Oh, and don't try to call the general manager there...you either won't get connected or he's not there.
My husband vows to sell that bike and go back to Yamaha, which was what he owned in the past. They certainly are more reliable and the service was far superior.
