This is a nice hotel with a great view of the dead sea and even has a heated pool of the salt water so you can float without freezing! Only complaint was the food for dinner was all cold.

Not recommended at all !!! We arrived in late December on hot days the room was stuffy and I got up in the middle of the night to turn on the air conditioner and I don't understand why it was still choked. Opening the window there is a loud noise from all the engines and mosquitoes that I called at reception told me there is no air conditioner that is cold outside! And finally we got up because we slept poorly. You pay NIS 1200 a night at a hotel and it makes sense to them that it doesn't include air conditioning. Just insolence! In addition to the mediocre food, we were with another adult in the room and did not bother to leave sheets for the folding bed and it took a while to get that we already wanted to sleep. The lifeguard in the sulfur pool came to us before the reception time they told us she was closed outside to go home and annoy everyone there while they were trying to relax in the pool and told him that in the reception they were told another hour, to our amazement he reached a state that he was there to ensure we were still in a bathing suit and did not understand what was happening (afterwards We were compensated with two glasses of wine for this, as if that is what interests us)
The yes in the room didn't work and couldn't fix it at all.
In short on the face. Recommend spending the money elsewhere.

The food is very poor and can be improved. The elevators are small and crowded. The room is fine. No towels, no claim !!!

A wonderful hotel on the shores of the Dead Sea. SPA, Dead Sea pool, jacuzzi and unusual hydrogen sulphide pool. All this will not leave you indifferent. There is a gym on the ground floor, equipped with the latest fitness equipment for all guests. Fresh water pool overlooking the sea and the incredible beauty of the cliff. The landscape that opens from the window of the room and even during the usual walk on the territory of the hotel will forever leave an imprint in your memory.
There is one important factor, without the knowledge of which you cannot go to the Dead Sea - you can stay in the water for no more than 20 minutes and thoroughly wash off the selenium water from yourself under the shower after each bathing (you should enter the water with interruptions - it is allowed 4-5 times a day 20 minutes). But your skin will thank you for such procedures. It is also important to have sunscreen and a hat with you. There are also small taps in the water for washing the face, if suddenly salt gets into the eyes or on other parts of the face and head.

A small but very cozy hotel that has everything in any big Dead Sea hotel!
And the beach and pool area and places for sunbathing and relaxation are generally better and more than in any other hotel.
In proportion to the size of the hotel building, the place to stay is superb.
The food is an ordinary Israeli buffet ... big and hearty, but without frills and delicacies.

Loaded with vacationers. There is not enough seating in the pool. Loud population. Compressed full of tables in the dining room, it is impossible to move between the tables to get to the buffet. Some rooms have no bath and they do not think that families with toddlers need a bath. It was impossible to close the opaque curtain in the room, so the light came in and we woke up early. One receptionist apprentices at an entire hotel that is fully occupied during the Passover holiday. Have to wait hours (not excessively, really hours) in line for everything.

We bought tickets to spend the day there only to find we couldn't enter. While trying to clarify the issue, the staff were really rude and unwilling to help. We came along with a friend visiting from California. Hopefully their customer service will change in the future.

Is on leave from 28 to 31 January. The hotel had a renovation, not so convenient, they had to inform us of the invitation. Room is not clean, dust everywhere in the closet. Spa is not something, hot tub is not a sauna too, towels need to "hunt" that is missing all the time. Fresh but not tasty food. Maybe it was all because of the renovations, because on the hotel I heard good recommendations.

A small and quite intimate place. There are better rooms and fewer. Excellent and plentiful food and close beach.

After many years of visiting this hotel, I was a little disappointed, guessing that due to Corona constraints, there was a different crowd, and the level of maintenance went down a bit, but there is a staff there that gives excellent service, and the food is varied and delicious.

A little dated but its still okay. good view of the dead sea but the balcony is too close to each other to my liking. so had to lock the balcony door when we rest, if not the breeze and natural air will be good. Good buffet dinner selections.

Great little resort for going into the dead sea. Found the thermal hole, but not the mud which I am sure is somewhere around the place. Remember to bring some water slippers/shoes as the base is covered in salt crystals.

Lunch was excellent, with a great range of food. Suprisingly they would not swap the beer for a soft drink but that did not spoil the day.

Cons: Basic food, place looks neglected, low service, stinky toilets, some of the safety rails next to the hot tub are missing (from my conversation with guests for at least two days).

Hotel canceled the booking unilaterally two months before arrival as they preferred to rent the rooms to another group.

Nice and renovated hotel. There is a problem with the reception and maintenance service - it is not pleasant to be in front of them. A person who builds on a refrigerator in a mini bar in the room: to treat limited liability. The baba is spacious but the feeling of the water is not like that of the Dead Sea water we have experienced elsewhere (it was the subject of conversations between many guests). They wear pebbles but do not advertise it.
Generally pleasant if you do not need additional service.

We arrived at the hotel I and my partner, we wanted to celebrate 3 years, I ordered the room Dalkas, worth 1,700 shekels per night, dough did not ask me to pay directly to my partner something that was supposed to be a gift, we asked for ice room, we entered the room darkened our eyes, On the floor in the room are chewing gum, the sofa is broken, the phone is broken, mold is all over the bathroom, the bed is full of clothes, dirt all over the bed and the pillows are black stains on everything. The air conditioner did not work and even though we called the reception to fix the air conditioner and the ice that did not arrive even after 20 minutes nothing changed and we just ran up to leave the hotel and go back to the center. The view from the hotel is not worth anything but a building site of the hotel .. I do not know how the food there but first of all it is important where I sleep at the level of cleanliness! Eli, the reception manager, tried to do everything to improve our stay, but the level of the hotel was not dependent on him. The hotel is rusty and broken, hoping that a hotel will come over Emma and grab Eli. Very disappointed I will not go back there alive!

On September 17, 19, I stayed at the Hod Desert Hotel. Unfortunately the hospitality experience at the place was unpleasant at all. Both because of the attitude of the receptionist from the receptionist (prefer to talk to tourists who bypass the queue and not to an Israeli who waits nicely in line ...) and to the manager of the booking department and because of the level of rooms. This is a medium hotel (-) which has over the last two years raised the price and compares with hotel prices at very high levels such as the Herods Dead Sea. I regret the decision to stay at this hotel. From being in the Herods Dead Sea in the past. The money is worth the price. At this hotel the cost was not worth the price. It should be noted that the free international calls on the reception floor also did not work properly. The only advantage I see at the hotel is the close hand beach. But during my stay, this parameter was also poor. Beach showers didn't work and even feet couldn't be washed off the salt. The only option was to enter the wardrobes inside the hotel. It's a shame. This hotel is capable of more or at least the payment will be worth the price. There has been a deterioration since last time. The service on the face. The service providers respond badly and negatively. The food has a great variety, but it is ordered without logic and much of it is not tasty. They lacked towels and were less clean. Last time: we had a great time. Because of all the negative reviews here we arrived without expectations and were pleasantly surprised: the rooms are very reasonable including clean. The only problem is the obtrusive cushions. The mattresses are comfortable and the touch is good. The spa is renovated. There is a hot water pool and indoor hot water, Jacuzzi, saunas, showers, heated outdoor heated pool. The food was really a surprise - very varied, abundant and very tasty and constantly innovating. Really awesome, recommended!

Spacious rooms, great food and variety. There is no vegetarian food I haven't checked for vegan. Soy milk is normal. The problem for private cars! Very limited parking - maybe 15 places. Parking on paid blue and white street, there is an unpaved parking lot about 300 meters from the hotel. Too bad a Saturday dinner was a surprise for me. Outside of a wide variety for all eaters, there was a vegan stand (!) With a main course of vegetables tofu, lentil and more.

Used local spa. Very nice. Warm and clean pools including one for small kids. You can find various drinks in the bar.

Really nice hotel with fantastic amenities. The rooms could use some updating but they we're a good size, clean and the beds we're comfortable with beautiful beach front views available.

The hotel has it's own beach access Wich is very nicely kept, beach chairs are available and beach towels are provided.

The indoor pool is really nice it is filled with water from the Dead Sea and is kept nice and warm.

Unfortunately the weather was not that great. But we didn't miss the bath in the Dead Sea directly from the hotel. The hustle and bustle at the morning breakfast buffet was a very special experience.
Someone had the joke or the cheek to have a cocktail drink charged to our room number. It took a lot until we got the amount credited back to the credit card bill.
Unfortunately there are far too few parking spaces directly at the hotel. The result was that I had to park the car in a disabled parking space because of my mobility impairment at the time, which resulted in a hefty 10,000 shekel fine because I did not have the official Israeli document. It was only with the kind support of Mr. Cohen from the central Israeli police that I managed to have the sentence canceled.

We arrived at the Yom Keyf. Got a massage, got complete relaxation in the pool and in the sea. We made a salt pilling straight from the sea. The beauty! Lunch and coffee and cake included.

Not to my taste, simple food, a disgusting atmosphere

We stayed here 5 hours in the Spa. Relaxing environments. There is a sauna, spa pool and normal. Do not miss the path to the shadow to enter the Dead Sea.
