this place is a joke,.....i arrived at 10:45 am for my app at 11:00 am...they took my car in .and then..they just disappear.. they had me wait for 3 hours ..for nothing...they didn't have the curtesy or the dignity to let me know that they are behind or something...they just had me there waiting.. i took my car UNFIXED and.left...STAY AWAY OR BETTER RUN...THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.

I had such a sad and disappointing experience, yet again, with this service department. It took them 2 days to change a simple headlight, a process they told me would take 3 to 4 hours tops. And during that time, no one bothered to call me to inform me that they would need my car overnight, and when I called to get the car's status, shockingly, no one was able to answer my question. When I asked to have my car's technician call me back, I was told he would ... and then he never did. In fact, no one bothered to call me back at all.
Unfortunately, this type of disregard for the customer is quite common for this dealership, as evidenced by the consistently high number of poor Yelp reviews. While it has happened to me several times, it clearly happens to others on a regular basis.
There are far better service providers elsewhere. Simply not worth the headache they put their customers through.
I was made extremely comfortable throughout my first financing experience thanks to Joseph. He made the selection process simple with his knowledgeability and willingness to consider my needs and desires. Joe also made my options clear, creating ease during the [efficient] financing process. He was flexible with me, since my work schedule keeps me very busy. Joe is always willing to go the extra mile! I am grateful for such quality customer service; good customer service can mean the difference in a product or transaction.
Aside from Joe, MB of Chicago is a clean, beautiful facility full of wonderful personalities. You will thoroughly enjoy your time there regardless of a purchase.

Who ever was driving one of their cars 4714 eh plate number was driving reckless almost sideswiped my vehicle this morning on lake cook Rd. I beeped and he continued to push his way in. If this is who they have working for them I'll never visit one of their locations.

Maintenance service is expensive but thorough. They look through the entire car history maintenance records to make sure no milestone services were missed. The personal service is exceptional. I've worked with both Eric and Maya. They both have taken the time to walk me through estimates and repairs, even going so far as to email me pictures of faulty parts. When needed, they have always been able to accommodate me with a loaner car and were flexible with loaner returns when business travel has conflicted with pickup.
My family has been to almost every Mercedes-Benz service center in Chicagoland. None have been more thorough and accommodating then Mercedes-Benz of Chicago! MIKE K. Mr.Raul Valle was a true professional and never judged us for coming from a modest background unlike the **insert expletives** at Loeber Motors who thought we couldn t afford one. This is the only place I would recommend for one to get a car. My baby loved the playroom and everyone was extremely welcoming here. Make sure you check out their espresso machine in the back.

I purchased a 2008 ML350 from Mercedes of Chicago a couple months ago my first stop and only location was this one. I was under the assumption that I was going to be shopping around for this suv especially because of the color. To my surprise I walked in into the beautiful showroom that is just state of the art as well meeting the sales associate a beautiful charming woman named Sharon Ladd. Dealing with her from the get go made all the experience that much better I could not ask for more. She was very professional knowledgable about the product as in the car and what she was selling me. I pretty much was relieved that during the process of test driving the suv 2008 ML350 i was going to purchase the car I loved the color miles and the non pushy experience I had with Sharon she was just a delight. As far as negociating price to my surprise again dealing with Christopher Bard exceptional he was straight forward with me on price it took us less then ten minutes to come to an agreement.WOW Overall my experience with Mercedes Benz of Chicago was great professional exceptional service and most important smooth sailing i give this dealership high high marks come here first before you even go elsewhere because you might just end up like me with a beauitful car and great experience.
Good Customer Service! But the Car Service I think was bad! and way over priced, if you want a better deal with good work done to your nice ride, go to Lober Motors up north. I got a oil change here at the service center at MB of Chicago, and yeah sure the Adviser had a great smile and staff are there are nice, but I think they messed up my right side brake in the front of my car, and that not even what I was there for, haha, after they pointed out a pin one of 2 that so called popped out, which I think they took it out just to up-change me to make up for the cheaper $89.95 oil change special they are running just to get you in, that really cost me $152.00 after all said and done. I left feeling like I was taken for a ride with a smile and scammed out of $52.00 to cover the oil job they did. I would highly tell anyone with a MB, not to bring it here. It was the first time for me and last time I will go there. Remember people! They are a business trying to make as much $ to pay the bills and people that work there, so make sure you know what's wrong with your car first! before taking it in, or like a Dr. get a second opinion to make sure this is the case and they are not take you for a ride too.
My Experience was beyond Excellent. It started with me calling inquiring on a GLK350 and Bob told me to come in and test drive. When I came, Bob met me at the door and introduced me to sales representative, Guido. My time there was very comforting and I did not experience any long waiting periods. I was giving a tutorial of my vehicle and the features. I have purchased BMW's and Porsche's, neither dealership gave me the attention that Mercedes-Benz did and I can not wait to trade my car in and get my GLK550. Thanks again BOB and GUIDO.....

After doing some research for a new vehicle, I decided on a C250 Sport and was put in touch with Frank Bertone at the dealership in Chicago. Unfortunately, there weren't many of these cars available in the US yet, so Frank worked with me to custom order a 2013. Eventually it arrived and I picked it up this past weekend. I felt inclined to write this review due to the extraordinary service I received at the MB of Chicago dealership on North Ave. I have bought several luxury cars in the past and have worked with many different dealerships. But this was, by far and away, the best experience I have ever had while purchasing a car.
They say you only get one chance to make a first impression. And what a first impression MB of Chicago made. I was greeted, several times, within the first minutes on property and offered a beverage immediately while they paged my salesman. I had the pleasure of dealing with Paul Price who is not only a hell of a dresser, but a genuinely caring individual as well. Paul handle my needs as his own. He went the extra mile at every opportunity and followed up every time I left the dealership during this process. Terry Stailey was my Service Advisor and he was a pleasure to work with! I had to drop-off my car early and he made sure to greet me when I arrived, and also made sure that I had an equivalent loaner to use for the day, which is a HUGE plus for me! Terry also gave me his direct line which I could call/text to get a status on the car. I was getting Blind Spot Assist fixed on our car and Terry actually looked me up in the system and confirmed that the repair was covered under the warranty and that I had a $0 balance. I will definitely be taking my car back to MB of Chicago for future service visits!

My wife and I bought a 2014 CPO GLK350 4matic in September from Big Joe. Really couldn't have asked for a better experience overall. This is our first Benz and so far absolutely love it! I liked that Joe didn't pressure us and was able to get answers to all of our questions. The financing was smooth and delivery of vehicle was on time and spotless in appearance. We did purchase the extended warranty on the vehicle and also extra wheel and tire coverage policy. We did end up cancelling the wheel and tire policy within the required time frame and had some difficulty getting our money back on that. It turns out that the outside company dropped the ball on the refund and Fletcher Jones ended up cutting us the refund check instead to keep us happy. I was getting worried about the situation but it turned out fine. Just had to bring vehicle in for service because Mbrace system wasn't connecting. The service department gave us a loner and fixed our vehicle in a timely manner. The whole process was really smooth and nice because everything is covered under warranty. I recommend anyone who is looking for a Benz to give FJ a chance at your business. Thanks for reading!

My experience occurred last spring but never had the opportunity to leave a review or speak with anyone. I had the worst experience here as a consumer (car buying or otherwise). I came here with a friend so that I could test drive and learn more about the GLC as I needed to replace my Q5. I checked in with the front desk so that the receptionist could assign me to a sales consultant. I waited in the showroom for 2+ hours and spoke with the receptionist several times before any sales consultant made their way towards me. I watched several other people be serviced and greeted in this time span. When I was finally introduced to Kevin Morley, he turned to my friend (a male) and asked him what car he's looking for. We corrected him and said that I (a female) am the one looking to buy the car. Apparently that went through one ear and out the other, as the whole time Kevin was more concerned with selling the car to my friend than to me, even asking if he (instead of me) wanted to drive the car during the test drive. Spoke with my friend about NCAA basketball and hip hop (which you should know, by the way, black people do like other things besides basketball and hip hop) during the test drive instead of answering my questions about the vehicle. Just a very strange and demeaning experience. When we arrived back at the dealership, I expressed that I was not interested in learning more about pricing and etc., as there was no way I was purchasing anything from this guy or this place given the service I had received. He then brought a manager over (older, brunette man) who immediately introduced himself to my friend and tried to pressure him to purchase or hear more about purchasing the GLC. He merely glanced at me. The problem with that approach is that again I, and not my friend, was the one who was interested in buying a new car. My friend spoke up and said that the beyond not being so much as greeted when we arrived and then ignored for hours, they continued to ignore me (the actual potential customer) and instead chat it up with him. I don't even remember their response or if they responded at all, but regardless it was already clear to me that this place does not understand the meaning of customer service or basic social etiquette. I ultimately got another Audi, but if you're interested in a Mercedes-Benz please be wary of spending your money with this dealership. They seem not to value certain customers at all and break so far away from the luxury MB experience.
I was very happy with my service. I had to leave it over night as it turned out to be more then an express visit, but my car was finished by the next morning and doesn t smell like oil any more.
Lok Wong was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. We will definitely be seeking his service again in the future.

I love bringing my C63 car here. Erick is very knowledgeable and will tell you exactly what your car needs and doesn't need. He doesn't try to put extra stuff on you, just what needs to be done and what can wait. They even did a very nice job on cleaning my verrrrrry dirty car inside and out! Very fast in and out time. Much better than the other mecedes dealers I bring my car to.
I ordered a replacement key for my SL 6500. Because of supplier issues it took 3.5 months to obtain the key. The Service Center was excellent in keeping me up to date on obtaining the key and any issues that came up. Oscar- Thank you!

I am so glad that I got my first experience at buying a car at this dealership. The problem is that the standard has been set super high. From the moment you come in you feel like you are taken care of. I particularly purchased a car that wasn t a Mercedes. Raul was an excellent sales rep and eased my decision by letting me make it. I was afraid about being taken advantage of but I was honestly impressed on how different this experience was from my expectations. What can I say? You can buy class but here there is no deal without it. I got a Jeep that looked like it was purchased from the manufacturer. I trusted rightfully on their reputation and for one important reason: they won t risk loosing it over a bad deal. The car itself had been taken care of exceptionally by the previous owner. Which to me talks a lot about their willingness to do a trade in business only with the best kept cars. I have spoken about my vehicle with many friends and I keep hearing you are so lucky , what a great deal . I would recommend Mercedes Benz of Chicago to anyone who is looking into being taken care of while purchasing a car. There is so much transparency and excellent customer service!!! Start at 11am test drive, negotiate and got the new car before 3pm. Negotiate part was fast and unbelievably easy just like Fletcher Jones Audi. Better than most luxury car dealers especially Lexus.
Only part that I'm not so happy is car not detail clean before give it to me.

When you have car problems it can be a headache, but not at Mercedes Benz of Chicago's service department, where they treat you well and fix your car. We have always been very pleased with every service advisor who has taken care of us. Erick recently took care of us, as he had done in the past several times. Jim Jordan in their sales department had sold or leased us all 5 of the cars for the past 20+ years. . Erick, Terry, Melvin and recently Max has efficiently and effectively had our backs when ever we needed service or maintence on any of our Mercedes's.

Our consultant (Natalya Chaykivska) gave us detailed answers on models' specifications, pre-test drive explanations, paper work, familiarized us with the new car - all above 10. Natalya spent several hours patiently discussing our whims, and it is only due to her expertise, creativity and attitude that most of them materialized. Last night I just purchased a brand new 2013 GLK 350 from Mercedes-Benz of Chicago. This is the 3rd new Mercedes that I have purchased from this dealership and specifically, my sales person, Paul Price. I can't say enough good things about Paul. He is professional, courteous and has a memory like a steel trap. His attention to detail and ability to get me a great deal is what keeps me coming back.
The car I wanted was at a dealership in the suburbs. Paul drove over an hour in rush hour traffic each way to get my new car and bring it back to me. He always goes the extra mile and for that, he has my loyalty.
I would also like to mention that Nikki Dillard did a fantastic job of getting us in the door and our finance person, Moe Ghanimah was a pleasure to deal with as well.
Lastly, I'd like to say that one of the best things about this dealership is the Service Center. I really don't think there is a better service center anywhere in the region, period. The facility is great, the people are always professional and my service adviser (Lynn Heller) is the best!

Overall, have purchased multiple cars from pre-owned to new. The service department has been excellent. Any complaints I have they take seriously and are always willing to go on a ride along to verify any rattles or issues. Never an issue with a loaner, just have to plan a little in advance. If it's an emergency, they always accommodate. Eric is great and Geoff is amazing. No car is perfect and I have had some issues with my cars, but they are always there to take care of them.
