Food was top notch, original, and extremely tasty. Steak and salmon were perfect, sauces were excellent, and dessert (gelato) was exceptionally good. The arugula salad was fantastic, but the caesar was fair. The servers were attentive, almost annoyingly attentive, which I blame on some cranky reviews of people who don't know how to call a waiter, as would be more typical in a place striving to be the romantic king among Beverly Hills elite. Additionally, they noted from our OpenTable reservation that it was my wife's birthday, and were accordingly gracious, which we very much appreciated.

What I love most about Il Cielo is the people watching. It is clearly a go-to place for special occasions and it seems nearly half of those dining around us were celebrating an anniversary or birthday. It's charming that Il Cielo facilitates this with the option to have a candle and rose petals at your table. The food was quite tasty. Nobody at our table was unhappy with their selections. I ordered the burrata and salmon; both were utterly delicious. The only thing that left me wanting was the bread service. Guests are served individual pieces of unadorned foccacia (no olive oil, no butter). Could be a bit more interesting and tasty.

Very beautiful location! The food and service was phenomenal. We ordered the lobster mashed potatoes- that we could have gone without. Other than that everything was superb!

Came for DineLA lunch. Had the pear salad, salmon and bolognese. Salad was decent nothing special. Salmon was fantastic perfect size, bolognese was very tasty. All great to share

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch. I read other reviews and it seemed like the perfect place. I wanted somewhere romantic and tasty. The atmosphere on the patio was pretty, but not what I thought it was going to be from pictures. The inside is very small, and a little outdated. The service was outstanding, no complaints on that. The food was delicious. I got the artichoke risotto and my boyfriend got the ravioli. The portion was a little small and my boyfriend did leave hungry. The bread was to die for! I do wish we came at night and for dinner though, I believe my experience would have been a little different but overall no major complaints.

I give this place 4 stars based on the atmosphere. The owner has a bad attitude and the prices are steep. The food id good but there are better Italian places with 10 blocks.

It's known for most romantic restaurants in Los Angeles. I took my wife there for her birthday. We loved the lobster, salmon and the decorations. Service and staff are super nice. The people dining in the restaurants dressed up for their special occasion. It was a beautiful night. Thank you for hosting such a professional restaurant.

Incredible restaurant with gorgeous atmosphere and decadent dishes. Beautiful lighting and elegant set-up, we got the romantic package for a little extra which included candles and rose petals. Our server Nico was excellent and all the staff were promptly responsive and genuinely friendly. Definitely the go-to for a romantic and/or just fancy time.

The scenery was beautiful. However our server made the experience feel less than that since he gave off of the impression that he could care less and that we bothered him. Be had a bad snooty attitude. The food was tasteless and over priced. You re better off going to in and out.

Ambiance wise this it is an excellent restaurant but if you are looking for a flavor bomb or something wows you, i don't recommend this place at all . Considering a complete meal ( starter +entree + dessert and a cocktail ) will cost you at least $100 per person you have waaay waaaay waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better choices specially if you are a a good lamb chops fan .

This is in my top 5 restaurants ever!!! At first, the menu didn t seem so exciting but I could have gotten one of each by the time I read all the descriptions. I don t regret my choice of tuna tartare, risotto with cream of burrata and lobster, and to finish on a sweet note, the tiramisu. The service was top notch also!!! We had a beautiful evening and we will be back for more special celebrations.

This place is incredibly romantic and it's my personal favorite place to go for birthdays and anniversaries. Twinkle lights everywhere, delicious food, and the "Foxy Champagne" ensure that you'll have a good time. Il Cielo is truly a gem.

Truly a beautiful romantic place for dinner! We ordered the Sea Bass fish and the Calamari and it was very good!! This place has earned 5 stars because the food is always fresh and the service is excellent! They also have an outside patio area and valet parking! You have to go check them out for a romantic night out!

HORRIBLE Valentines Day experience. I will not be coming back and asking for a refund on my disaster of a meal. I paid almost $450 dollars for this event. Recieved 5 pieces of ravioli as an appetizer... Then I got a plate of an almost WELL DONE steak when I had asked for MEDIUM RARE. I asked to redo my steak since I had paid nearly $250 for this meal. Who the hell eats their steak well done?? Their solution was for me to wait a really long time for them to redo it or comp my drinks when I dont even drink! I was forced to eat the most disgusting well done steak and paid $250 for it. Ive had better service and experience at Black Angus. This is possibly the worst experience I've ever had in a supposedly high end restaurant and I will never recommend or come back here again.

Amazing!!!! My cousin and his wife surprised me and my husband with a date, I'm guessing they called ahead because they treated us like a king and queen. Kevin was amazing and helping us feel welcomed. Food was delicious and they pre-order our desert which was just as delicious as the food... Then we got a tour and history of the restaurant... I'd give 10 stars if I could. Just an amazing night thanks to I'll Cielo and to my cousin's who paid for it all!!!!!

It was called Brochette when I lived in Beverly Hills in the late seventies. The most romantic dining environment back then. Now it's a tired and shabby overpriced excuse for a dining experience. Management is more interested in making money than delivering on the promise of a memorable meal. Food poisoning on my last visit will conclude my regular recommendation to include it on my list of considerations while in Beverly Hills. With so many better, newer and more vibrant happening restaurants in the neighborhood, don't go there because you will be disappointed.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. During the day, it is pretty for lunch. They have accommodations for showers, club meetings, any kind of mid-sized gatherings. Their service is impeccable. At night, it is, by far, THE MOST beautiful and romantic restaurant. I love it here!

My husband and I were looking for a place to celebrate our second wedding anniversary. It was suggested sthat we try Il Ceilo. The atmosphere was absolutely romantic and beautiful. The food was wonderful along with great service. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a romantic evening.

I think this is one of places that has been chugging along by its location, reputation and reality TV appearances. There really wasn t any real substances here. Absolutely no reason why it should be as popular or expensive as it is. We were a party of 4 on a Saturday night. The service was horrendous. It took forever to get anything... Bread, drinks, server!? The food took so long to come out. The $16 cocktails were just disgusting. Two people at our table sent theirs back, I didn t even bother because I didn t know if I ll ever see the server again. The food wasn t horrible but I expected much much more. The best thing I had was their tomato soup with crab. But that might just be because I was starving! Boring desserts! All in all, I m glad I tried it and now I know that I ll never have to do it again.

Manager Kevin and waiter Nino did a great job to make Il Cielo an amazing experience during my honeymoon. Food was authentic Italian and atmosphere was romantic. Highly recommended from a New Yorker who loves high quality Italian food!

Food was lackluster and completely overpriced. Also, aparrently if you know the owner you're allowed to be as rude as you like with zero consequences. Ain't nothing like spending $800 on a dinner while a small child plays with a ballon and runs into your table constantly.

A very good Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills. The taste, atmosphere, and quality of serving are all satisfying. In particular, we recommend Maine Lobster, Seafood Pasta, and Salmon, which make use of the taste of ingredients so that the food is not salty. The food price is not cheap, but it is acceptable compared to the food quality.
