Coming from North America, we're used to seeing massive homes and oversized luxuries in general. Ikea is just as North America does it. The only differences are: they have more food options; there was an ikea band; and they were serving mimosas with small raffle games one weekend. It's still just as busy on a rainy day and some products from the showrooms are still tough to find for purchasing.

So right at the beginning I want to say that I am an IKEA fan. The exhibition and ideas are just great, the prices too. When returning and exchanging, SOME things have to be changed! I would expect that you will be notified via SMS when one's turn (for example if the customer with the number, two places ahead of me on the series). Why can't you just pull out a cell phone number. to capture? Instead, it is rum hours, sometime unnerved what the poor people get to feel. Stupid! Otherwise IKEA is so progressive ?! I can only hope that my opinion ALSO is read by the customer to improve :-)

Very friendly service. No matter which employee we asked, there was always a friendly and helpful answer. Exchange of goods was completely problem-free. Only the waiting time at the cash register and at the return area leads to a point deduction, because free cash registers could still have been opened.

Huge parking lot, huge store, easy to get lost in this maze. You can buy anything you could possibly need for an average household at Ikea, the only thing that irritates me is outdated descriptions for stocked items which makes it impossible to find them without help from an employee.

Always on the fence about this one. Yeah, it's an Ikea. You get what you expect. And it can be a daunting experience to whitnes your kids wanting everything they have. But it's entertaining and you find what you expect and they have plenty of parking spots. But, please, don't go there on a Saturday.

Great furniture great but it takes a long time to find a consultant in the store or at one of the points off. I say just wait 1 hour for a reorder Ikea messed up.
There was also trouble with the kitchen. The suppliers were unfriendly but the construction service suoer fast and friendly.

Easy to reach from the south of Munich and as with every Ikea sufficient parking spaces (also with covered parking deck) and modern facilities.
The paths, stairs and escalators in the shop are very impractical. You often have to go detours.
Overall, I do not like Ikea as much as I used to, and on average, prices are not what they used to be.

For me the better and a little bigger Ikea in Munich but that does not mean that the original Ikea in Eching is bad. It should only be avoided in general on window days, weekends and during the holidays to shop there otherwise it is partly very, very crowded.

My friend has planned her kitchen here and is very excited about the service !!! It came to measure who in the branch itself was then quietly and competently advised. The only thing that went wrong was the installation the gentlemen have cut the plate wrong and did not look at the plan properly so then two wall cabinets were left. In itself, it also fit because they could be brought back
