An awesome place, it'd be better to come to this place instead of going to a zoo, as this IIT was built in a wildlife sanctuary.

IIT is representative of India for knowledge in technology. But they can't maintain their website. Due to just small traffic it gets overloaded and server goes down. Not able to fill up Gate form. Need improvement.

Top college, top campus. One of the best engineering institutes in the country. Promotes a lot of original thinking among the students as well which is key to bringing out innovations. The campus is lush green, great atmosphere!

One of the best engineering colleges in India. It has been the best engineering college all over india according to NIRF rankings for the past three years. There are separate buildings for almost all departments. There are a lot of important places here like the Centre for Innovation, Workshop, etc but nothing can stand upto the student's favorite- Gajendra circle:-). The food is also very nice here both in mess and in the restaurants. The only seniors who rag their juniors here are the monkeys . They steal quite a lot from the students. It is nice to see that even monkeys here are cleverer than other monkeys. Here they even know how to use the water dispenser. IIT Madras has a amazing campus where jogging and cycling can be done in a calm atmosphere (watch out for the monkey that crosses the road). It even has a totally free bus and auto service (it sometimes encourages students not to repair their bicycles)

Iit madras is good for education. All student staff and profrssor are briliant. All blessed by god.all facility avalble in the iit chennai. Iit chennai rank in world and asia is good.

Research scholar in IIT M .. wonderful place in Chennai .. We will feel like we are in middle of forest .. with lots of banyan tree , deer, monkey and butterflies . Academically very good ..

Calm and quiet place. Environment is good. Big campus. The market inside campus are having foods in reasonable price for students.

Nice greenery, neat and clean place. Loved deers and black bucks.

All the facilities available for research work. It is near to anna university, cancer hospital, CLRI, Governor house, Children's park, Gandhi Mandabam, Anna Library, Kasthuri bai nagar railway station are there.
Inside iit anywhere we can go by bus. This bus facility fully free. Inside the IIT school matriculation, CBSE board school are there. Post office and Bank are there. Staff quarters , students hostel all in one compound. More number of trees are there. Some animals like deers are there. It's good place to learn education.

Great institute as we all know that it is one of the top institute in india. Campus is green. You will see dears are casually roaming in campus. Departments are not interconnected but you find all facilities inside the campus. From main gate to different department and centres bus is available. Buses are frequent don't have to worry or have to wait much. As it well connected to city don't have to worry about the connectivity you can easily book local cab service or ola or uber from the campus to any destination like airport or railway station.

Try extending your hand calmly towards any deer, and they would probably walk towards you!!
And I must mention that the place is so large it connects two parts of Chennai!!
