Recently i had attended a workshop there .... I had a nice experience being there... Such a Great campus to study... SO clean and green... And also they are providing free transportation to travel within the campus

My elder brother studied there(IIT) he told me that the college is a peaceful environment and he said that there each student were of high intellectual ability from all over india .the one who wants foreign opportunity for pursuing higher studies,IIT madras is the best college

The paradise in Chennai, but as same as heaven not all can visit it easily and always! But if you regret when get a chance, something wonderful is lost!

I love this place..... every second I spend in here gives me a fabulous experience... And the fauna and flora makes the place way better from the concrete jungles

Premier Institute for all courses, especially Engineering. I visited so many times. My Brother studied here.

All the old IIT's are none less than sea of knowledge. Specifically talking of IIT Madras, I believe they have one of the best lab facilities in the country. Best thermal engineering laboratory in India atleast. Campus is too apt for study, research and extra-curricular activities. My favourite spot in the insti are Chemplast cricket ground, Manohar Watsa Stadium and tank of 1974.

An institute of excellent reputation.One among the few in this nation with international ranking.Large campus. Admission is based in JEE performance. PG admission on Gate score. Research on all fields of engineering and sciences.Only cream of indian students are admitted here.Excellent campus and facilities. Have an affinity for ocean engineering and their lab.Has various blocks for each disciplines and lab , library and hostel blocks.

Great university amazing set of places to visit within and from within. It has deer and several great profs who have travelled a lot and several students and people managing it. There are DST and other science and tech projects here. Great sport amenities and great departments

Indian Institute of Technology Madras, is one among the foremost institutes of national importance in higher technological education, basic and appliedresearch. In 1956, the German Governmentoffered technical assistance for establishing an institute of higher education in engineering in India. The first Indo-German agreement in Bonn, West Germany for the establishment of the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras was signed in 1959. IIT Madras is a residential institute with nearly 540 faculty,8400 students and 700 administrative & supporting staff and is a self-contained campus located in a beautiful wooded landof about 250 hectares. It has established itself as a premier centre for teaching, research and industrial consultancy in the country. The Institute has sixteen academic departments and a few advanced research centres in various disciplines of engineering and pure sciences, with nearly 100 laboratories organised in a unique pattern of functioning. A faculty of international repute, a brilliant student community, excellent technical & supporting staff and an effective administration have all contributed to the pre-eminent status of IIT Madras. The best! The campus is very peaceful and it feels very pleasant.

A wide variety of animals such as dogs, cats and monkeys coexist on the campus. Although the road is well maintained, no car is running with the center line in mind. The center line will not be visible to them.

I ve studied at Kendriya vidhyalaya inside IIT madras! I ve been through all roads! This place is totally another world which is free from pollution, dust and stuff! The best place for a walk, a rugged run! You name it! It s the best place! This place has everything one needs! One must visit this place for sure!

No words. Such a beautiful campus. It was part of guindy National Park and only 23per cent construction is allowed. So it is like you are in a forest. But in the heart of Chennai city. Deers are walking around students peacefully. Such a beautiful ambiance.

Heaven on earth. Worked here as a fresher. The sort of experience was completely blissful. Thanks to Prof. Srinivasa Chakravarthy and everyone at Computational Neurosciences Lab. Hope Barati script turns into an app soon.

In this institute my uncle was professor so I come to meet my uncle so I live in this institute building z3 so next I my uncle take for walking I see superb palace I was very happy too good institute I was also want to become computer enginer I come in this institute

Great place for studying with natural surrounding.... Good place free from pollution

Loved the campus, but I am not so sure about the facilities when compared to IIT-B. Since there is bus service inside the campus it is easy to get around. Food in the mess is really good. Hostels are not so satisfactory. The buildings are scattered and will take time to getting used to all the places in the campus.

You can find Deers Running inside the campus. Really a Pleasant atmosphere.
