Great spot to go on a date or with a large group. Food and drinks are average, but I guess you are going there for the amazing view. They don't take reservations so definitely get there at least 45 minutes before sunset if you want to be seated outdoors.

You come to The Oasis for the view. Their location on Lake Travis cemented their success... Location, location, location. You want to come here for the sunset - so get here an hour or so before.

The food is acceptable TexMex, and the drinks are usually good, but the wait staff is always stretched thin. So prepare to wait, for everything.

Still well worth the visit! Few places anywhere can match the view!

This place is INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL. You have to see to believe. Great for drinks, food, and a little family fun. Nice and cool because of the lake breeze.

If you have people visiting town and you want to show them great views around town, you really ought to take them to the Oasis, sit on one of the decks down the side of the cliff, and time it so you're there for sunset. The food isn't horrible, but it's probably more expensive than it deserves. I had a perfectly respectable margarita, though it was also on the expensive side. But really, the view is wonderful and the sunsets are spectacular.

The service was amazing. All the staff were super nice and the view over lake Travis is amazing!!! A great place for family gatherings or dates. The food was ok could have been better, the prices were on the higher end around $15-20 per dish still for the view

Food no flavor specially the burger, the waitresses need to have a customer service class, i understanding we are facing something never before but you guys can do better. I can't remember the name if the girl that guide us to the table she was so sweet. omg that view is amazing thats the only good thing about it that view.

Great view. And such a pretty place. The Place itself gets a 5 Star for sure. But the food was super plain. So I'd give the food a 2 Star.. so all in all a 4 Star rating.

The food and our server Justin was awesome! I highly recommend the Seafood Enchilada plate...enough food for two people.

Beautiful place and setting; however, the food is overpriced and didn't taste near as good as any local Mexican restaurant. The rice is not what you would expect and is more like white rice with oil and onions. Way disappointed.

The service was terrible and slow. The fajita plate did not come out sizzling like it should. It took over 40 minutes to be served. My first time and last time I'll eat here.

Service was not up to par. No spunk, very low on tone of voice no enthusiasm or anything, very slow on taking plates and beer bottles. The only time we seen our waitress move is when we asked for the check. Food was ok. I work in the industry so I see more of the mistakes than anything. My rating is more on the waitress...the only reason I gave 2 stars is cause I dont want to be that rude. We will be back but we choose a different waitress.

Beautiful, elegant, and amazing, this place offers stunning views, with a modern building, turning any trip into an experiance.

I loved the ambiance however, the wait to receive my food from the time I ordered it was ridiculously long. To top things off I got so sick in the middle of the night I am not in a hurry to return. I ordered shrimp fajitas and they weren't sizzling when they arrived at my table.

The views are good, as are the drinks. The food has been much improved as well. The go-to place to take people from out of town.

Good food with a great service!!

We arrive and they say us on a cover area level. When the rain came the closed the screens for the other level below us . But we heard something crash and fell upstairs and water came pouring down on me and my sister in law. When we went in the only person that ask if we were ok was the waiter the manager never came to see if we were ok. They were to busy with the party of 50 that was upstairs. They waiter said the party of 50 was above us when we're were on our level. So we don't even now if it was even water that got us soak. We feel that no one was really thinking about our table. When we left everything outside . We had to wait for drinks while everyone else had there drinks from outside. It will be a long while before we go back. This was my sister and brother in law first trip to the oasis. They were very surprised by the service we got.

Came for the 4th of July fireworks, it was a long wait for our table but it was well worth it. Had a view of the fireworks from all of the surrounding cities and our table was on the edge! Food was mediocre but priced reasonable.

This place is awesome! Little shops and great food and great outdoor ambiance combine for a perfect spot for a date with your special someone. Usually has live music we were told but due to current Covid situation they have it right now. Im definitely looking forward to going back though?

The appeal of this restaurant is the view. Unfortunately, was not a fan of the food. It was overly salty in my opinion.

The wait is also very long around sunset so I'd recommend going early if you want a good view though the staff was gracious enough for us to go take pictures on the upper levels while we waited for our table.

Honestly, I feel as though the slogan here goes something like this: "TRY but not too too hard". Service is about as average as you can get, the food is definitely NOT worth the wait, and the drinks here are subpar, AT BEST.. The view outside is just AMAZING!! The beauty of Lake Travis kinda makes up for it but I've gone 3 times and that's enough for me. If you're coming for the view, it's amazingly beautiful during sunset. 3 stars because of the view lol If there wasn't one, I don't think I would have ever gone again

Great restaurant with an adequate bar, and even an arcade. My friends were taking too long with eating so I put 20 dollars in quarters into their Galaga machine. Nice place

Such an exotically beautiful restaurant to visit. With each visits the staffs not only get lovelier, but kinder. The food is always delicious and the gorgeous view from the restaurant is just everything. Even if you re too full for a meal you must stop by for some tasty desserts to enjoy with that heavenly view.

Staff was great. They got us tables exactly where we wanted, twice. Scenes were amazing. Food was epic. Had bbq and mexican.

It's always a treat to eat a meal here. The views of Lake Travis are spectacular. Food is not too bad either. Today I had fish and chips. My daughter had the chicken tenders kids meal. Fajitas are very popular based on the number of tables around us with them. I recommend stopping by for a visit if you are in the area.

I've been coming to the Oasis for 20 years. The food has never been great, but you go for the view. On my most recent trip, I came at 2:30pm on a Friday with members of my family who had never been to Texas before. Even though it was mid-afternoon, it was very busy and after waiting in line to get our name on the list, we were told to wait in another line. We asked if we could have a table on the edge to see the view and were told this would be possible after a 20 minute wait. As we were being led to our table, another hostess seated a different family at our table right in front of us. Our hostess was confused and asked for guidance from the hostess seating the other family. She told her that her guests didn't like their table and asked to be moved there, so our hostess gave us their table, far from the edge, with no view of the lake. I went to the front desk to tell them what had happened and asked if we could be put back on the list for the next available table on the edge. She told me we could only go back on the list if we gave up our table and waited another 20 minutes. We were all starving, so we stayed. While eating, birds pooped on our table twice, and I found meat in my nachos that I had asked for without any meat, as I'm a vegetarian. I'm mad about the bird poop and meat, but I'm more angry that we were told we would get a table on the edge and, when that table was taken from us, the hosts did nothing to help us. The fact that another family can choose to move tables and be accommodated on the spot, but when I ask to wait for the next available table, I'm told I'll have to leave and get back in line, shows that there isn't an enforced policy for table changes. I know that the restaurant has more than enough customers and probably won't miss my business, but a 20 year customer is not coming back to service like this. I recommend going to the Oasis complex, taking a picture of the lake and leaving.

The place has nice view it's about it ! I took my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday and it was a waste of money!! The food and drinks are too overpriced for what you get! She was so upset about the dirty bathroom , no paper towels ,not even a lock for the toilet door!!!

I'd say this place is all about the atmosphere. The food is OK, but nothing great. Each drink is served in a to-go cup - I'd visit again if there was a specific occasion.

According to me this place is built at the perfect location in Austin. If you want to see the most beautiful sunset then this is the perfect place to be. Drinks are amazing and not that expensive, but I am a vegetarian and there are not a lot of vegetarian options but I am sure they have great meals for non-vegetarian customers.
