The ambiance and the view are amazing. The food is not the best, but hey I still loved the sunset!

A 5 star view and a 1 star menu puts me at a 3 star review. An awesome place to chill with wine at sunset on your way home from dinner elsewhere. This has always been the case since even before the beautiful rebuild.

Lively place with a great view of Travis Lake. If in Austin check it out for drinks. If you like a table give the reception your phone number and you'll get a text message confirming that you're on standby and once again when your table is ready. Great service.

Great views of Lake Tavis, definitely an experience to partake in, the food is alright nothing to write home about. Next time just going to Oasis Brewing next door.

Everybody comes here for the view, especially at sunset, when it can get pretty crowded. It is a huge place, though.

Don't come here for the drinks and especially not the food, which is not memorable. If you need to get something with your drink at sunset, order the chips and salsa.

There's a big dance floor also and they have live music and that can be a pretty fun time.

The service has always been nice.

Apparently there are practically no health standards here, but it was still nice eye candy. A little empty now but it's packed during the spring and summer. Probably worth the visit.

Awesome view, decent food though a bit pricy. You're paying for the view. Good margaritas.

Great view of lake Travis while you're eating their delicious food.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The chicken club was tasty and fresh, avocado was fresh also. Wedge frys were thick and cooked well.

This is a Fajitas plate. Looks like 1 week old left over and taste like disappointment. The chef said it s normal quality here.

The view is the reason to go... food quality is always poor, selection limited and drinks are average. Such a shame to not invest in a more dynamic kitchen and food offering.

Very few items on menu, waitress said that was because the new menu was coming out on 3/1. Salsa was freezing cold. Waitress way too busy to offer us a tea refill. Food was ok. But definitely much better places to eat in Austin

Get there a good 1.5 hrs before you plan to eat. It's absolutely packed on Saturday nights. Other than that, good food (large portions), stunning view!

Awesome time. Haven't been since the mid 90s. The atmosphere has changed. It's great. The food is better too. LOL I will def return.

The view is amazing buy the food and beer are just okay...not really worth the hassle of parking and waiting in long lines.

The Oasis is very beautiful. The food is nasty. High-priced and cold. Our server was rude. I asked for water she replied okay I'll be back. She comes back no water. Long story short she passed by us more than she helped us. I will never go back to the Oasis again.

What a great view of Lake Travis. For me, just a bit large scale, parking shuttle, Disneyland like for a date for two. But I could see it being outstanding for company and large family events. I will keep going back.

The only thing the Oasis has going for it is the view. That's it. I've been so many times playing tour guide. The food has never been anything to write home about but either it's gotten worse or I've gotten better. Who knows? The service has definitely gotten much worse. The last time I took some out of town visitors we had to wait nearly 20 minutes for a check. If you must go, have someone else drive. That way you can drink away the misery of being there.

Too cold for outside, so service, food and pricing matter more. Food was above average but who wants to look at a nosering that makes you cringe? And that brings the question of $3.50 sodas to be a deciding issue! Hills and rocks are not that good!

The service was slow but the food was good. The view is absolutely beautiful! I'm not sure why the service took so long since we went in a slower time. There weren't too many other people there and people that got there after us were getting their food before us. We didn't order anything special that would have taken extra long. Other than that I enjoyed the overall atmosphere and will go back again when I am in the area. The gift shop was great too. They have a little bit of everything to offer.

If it wasn't for the pretty scenery it would be a total waste of time restrooms awful flies all over a.c. not cooling

Horrible service. Even worse managerial staff. I will never come back. The food was not good enough for the horrible service received.

Setting, service is good. The food is bland. The sun is intense on the balcony if you go for lunch. People are cool. Bring friends for a better time and maybe skip the meal.

It is a beautiful place to see but the ffos is not that amazing. Its definitely all about the scenery

I would give many more stars if allowed. Food and service were wonderful and the view was gorgeous. Hoping to go again for the band and dancing. Couldn't ask for a better place for an out of town visitor or a local. Highly recommend.

Gave it a 3, like many have said the service and food is pathetic, waiters are rude they are not well trained and horrible costumer service providers, THE VIEW IS AMAZING, i have to say this is a waste of establishment, wish they coupd fix their employees issues, the full experience would be worth the trip, they figure the view would sell BUT SORRY not really, if you go you dont have to eat, just enjoy the view

As expected the view can't be beaten and the food is ok for the price. Been many times before but this was the first time during the later part of the year. It's November 14th and not only are the decorations up but the ONLY music playing is Christmas music - all evening, how wrong when not even reached Thanksgiving...

Great food and spectacular view. The souvenir shops around are nice, but nothing very special.

Great place for dinner (family or date) . Gift shop, brewery with corn hole, ice cream , great Mexican restaurant with an awesome margarita list. Veiws amazing and sunset is beautiful with lake Travis

There was a 2 hour wait to get seated. Food and drinks were decent but expensive. My Friends and I were seated at a table with fans blowing directly on us. Our server seemed slightly impatient or maybe tired. It was our first visit and we've decided we won't be back.

If you're in Austin the Oasis is definitely a go must place. This place is amazing and the view is breathtaking. Great for a date night.

Loved the sunset view, went for bday party with close friends. It was one of the hottest days of the year. I really wish they had seating available in a nice place during our visit. The only thing that took away from the experience was the scorching sun in my face and everyone sweating. While the ambiance is top par, the quality of dining experience was diminished by sub par cooling systems. The staff was very nice and personable. Go in a cooler time.

We didn't eat at the restaurant. It was so crowded and the sunset was disappointing. (Not restaurant's fault) we used the free parking garage. exterior and Christmas decorations were nicely done. Very festive!

Good place to eat and have a good time. The view is great however the food is not so good and is a little bit pricey. I would recommend going there just to have some drinks with friends and to watch the sunset. Also service is great!

While the reason to go is for the view and spectacular sunsets the food is very good as well.

I normally tell guests that I take there, I only come here for the view, the drinks and appetizers only. I have to admit, the food was great which forced us to ask what happened? This Sr. Staff member. Kat, shared the changes they have undergone. My wife and I agree the food is 100x better!

It was a fantastic view. Love the architectural layout of the building. Service and food were just as nice. Five Star set-up.

We waited an hour and a half for them to lose our table waiting saying they sent us a notice when we never received a message at all. Then had to be put on a list to wait again with a misspelled name.

This place food sucks but it is a great place to watch the sunset, good thing is that they sell drinks

So I just had a server at oasis back yard watching this amazing band and our server James can't split a check and says it's on the menu which he immediately took away... amazing band wanting an explanation on the not so good service and ending result of this server? Oasis true or not? Also he grat me for the whole table? And was also rude when questioned. Oh man talk about a good night going south by bad service. Also I just read through and obvi this establishment has no regard for service standards or the people's concerns.. bad business.

Excellent food and staff. The lake view is amazing .

Had some trouble with our waiter, but the manager took great care to listen to our complaints and handled the situation very professionally. The place provides a great view, good food, and nice drinks.

A wonderful place. The view is breath taking. There's parking available, both covered and uncovered. There's also valet parking. In addition the Oasis restaurant, there's also a Brewery, candy shop, pickle shop and an ice cream shop. Oasis has outdoor and indoor seating. You can see the Dam from far away as well. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is nice, the food is great, the sense of surprise as you round the bend and the trees fall away and you see the oasis is great, even after everything you see on the trip to get there. Then you have to deal with the horrible parking and the long wait for a table. But overall it's worth it for the amazing view over Lake Travis.

One of the most scenic and beautiful spots in the area, well worth a visit even if you are not planning to eat delicious food or shop here. Architecturally amusing and interesting, this is a fun place!

If I could give this no stars I would...so appalling. From the 35 minute wait when there were numerous tables free...to the 'mean girls' check in vibe where they really didn't want to be have to do a job that interferes with their gossip time (and thanks for slamming down cutlery on our table and flouncing off) - great view but that's it. The wiorst service I ve ever experience in the US, over-priced rubbish food - stay away!
