Great sales officer who provided excellent product options, information and competitive pricing. Excellent service - before, during and after sales completed. Definitely recommend using First Data, and have referred others to the company.

Very soon I'll be opening Play Cafe. I called many providers and they all have pretty much the same offers. The reason I picked Clover is actually professionalism and patience that Pat Horszynski had. Since I am new at business, he explained step by step to me, making everything sound actually easy. He was polite and not pushy like some others. I don't like when people rush things :) I just hope that once I turn on my Clover machine everything with will work smoothly :) Parcel received the next day after our conversation.

I recently purchased a debit machine through Suzanne Vetere on behalf of our Kiwanis Club of Manotick. We have a number of older members who were very resistant to the purchase of this machine but within a few days, the ease of use and the clarity of accounting has won everyone over. Because we are a Club many Board members are involved in the approval process. Suzanne was extremely patient, without pressure, to allow me the time needed to convince the Board. I very much appreciated her help in answering the many, many questions we had and for recommending us the appropriate type of machine that would work for our fundraising purposes.

The worst most terrible company ever! You sign a c...

The worst most terrible company ever! You sign a contract CLEARLY stating NOT to ask customers any personal information and then they ask you to provide these private personal information to release your hard earned money! They held over 40 K over the period of almost 15 days. I called their non English speaking customer's service over 4 times EVERY SINGLE DAY! The system was down every single day, every call for 2 whole week! The sells rep KEVIN Plumb was no help at,all he didn't even answer his email or calls; very unprofessional! It harmed my business tremendously and they didn't care. I started working with a lawyer to figure out our next step. Don't bother with them at all. Find another company and pay for a decent service that will not harm your business. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVEN TO AN ENEMY thats how bad they are.

We definitely made the right decision by choosing the Clover payment system for our Vape Shop. We received exceptional customer service from our sales rep, Anisa Sokolovic who insured we has all the guidance we needed during and after setup. Furthermore, the system is extremely user friendly - which allowed us to quickly and efficiently train our employees to use it!

I have been in business for over 20 years and have used Moneris for most of our interact transactions, but when I called First Data to get a quote, I was put through to Sue Vetere. She was very helpful and easy to talk with on the phone. She answered all my concerns and did many follow up calls to check. I am very happy at this point with First Data and I hope that this company will keep the same customer service that I have received so far.

Wonderful experience with the company and especially my sales rep 'James Duncan' I was growing my spa business and unsure how to do all of this on my own and he walked me through every step of it all and clearly explained my options and prices. I sure appreciated it and I would recommend First Data to anyone! :)

MARYAM BIN YAHYA was so very helpful in setting up my account. Very fast to respond. Communicated with me when convenient for me. Got me an amazing deal. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a terminal. She helped me get the clover flex. Plus she s a lovely friendly gal to chat with!

We needed something to help us with our 50/50 draw...

We needed something to help us with our 50/50 draw as nobody carries cash anymore so I reached out to First Data. I got in contact with Frank Mancuso who helped us get the terminal that we needed at a great price. As we are a not for profit organization, price was our main concern. Thank you Frank for helping us out!

We loved the fast response, set up, accurate information requirement and the excellent Customer Service provided by Frank Mancuso :) Any customer service related issues we have also dealt with Frank. If we had questions he was right there to assist!
We recommend this company 100% and also recommend everybody to deal with Frank ;) Thank you so much for the super fast service. The fees are so much lower then a lot of other companies out there. Very pleased thank you Frank for the transition.

Continually badger you to buy their products/service via phone and email. At least one email a day requesting a signature for sign up and no unsubscribe button. Calls probably 2-3 times a week. Not the way to sell someone on your services.

This is a worst service provider I ever dealt with. We order a Credit card machine they never delivered it to us but their leasing department started charging us monthly lease for last 1 year. We don't know who to deal with as their leasing department do not take responsibility of delivering the equipment.

James helped me a lot. He got me the device that I needed the short-term I required it, and helped me with EVERY question I had. For this "little fish", I felt that I got a lot of attention to help me through this experience. I used my device for a sale in the US, and it worked really well. TONS of online support, if needed. Also very friendly and helpful staff.

Our office switched over to First Data from Elavon. Salhar Memon was our Account Executive who helped with our application and account setup. He was very helpful and responsive and was available to provide support on using the terminals, even after our account was setup. The customer service has been excellent.

Patrick Horzynski was an absolute pleasure to work with! (Account Executive) From the time we got in contact over the phone, to the device arriving in my hands, it took all of 48 hours. I am super impressed with the quality of service, professionalism, and the customer service he has provided. He answered every question i had, he made sure i understood everything that was being presented. He was never "pushy" on me to sign up with their services. We highly recommend dealing with First Data.
I've been personally dealing with Frank Mancuso for over a year now as we attempted to get our doors opened. We ran into multiple stumbling blocks that totaled up to around 10 months in delays, he still checked in monthly to see how we were making out and was prepared to get our payment terminal out to us within 3 days of finalizing our business purchase.
I've experienced nothing but friendly and professional service from first data, again, I highly recommend them.

this is not a company, this is bunch of thugs running a name...the last time i talked to a sales representative about my issue, he said:" that is not my problem, take us to court, you should have hired a lawyer to read your contract...." an employee who is getting min wage is talking like that,,,i send an email to the head office, and no respond, they have my machine and they are still charging me even after 2 years...i wish everybody know about this brothel ,,,i have all the proofs , i saved everything and i closed my company, and still they are sending me bills, watch up be careful those are thugs

If you are reading this you are probably with a different payment processing company. I was with Moneris, a great company but expensive.
I gave First Data a call and spoke with Salhar Menon or Sal as he likes to be called. I was impressed right away with his clarity of the payment processing world and that their was no rush or deadline to make up my mind on things.
Change is not hard to do if your saving money, getting a better credit card processing device ( Clover POS ) and great service.
You want better and more of your money ? Call and ask for Sal

I've been dealing with First Data for over 8 years...

I've been dealing with First Data for over 8 years and I m very pleased from their service.
My business contact at First Data is Patrick Horszynski who has an exceptional customer service skills. Patrick made our transition, two years ago, to a bigger store with additional debit machines very easy and seamless. Last week I contacted Patrick for an additional wireless G3 debit machine, he was able to set it up and send it within two business days. I won't forget to mention their technical support who were able to help me out activating our new machines or troubleshooting any technical issues with a minimal waiting time.

They have no protection for their customers, and horrible customer service. If you read through their terms and conditions, everything is your responsibility, you pay them if anythkng happens, tons of hidden fees and payments, I've seen it in person. Then they'll threaten with legal action over and over. If you go through their reviews here on Google you'll see a ton of similarities for all of their 5 star reviews hmm wonder why.... I feel bad for anyone who uses this service.

We get help with everything no matter how small and every questions gets answered right away! We franchised our business and I was clear that I would be keeping First Data as their customer service can not be matched anywhere!

This company is a robber. They have a department i...

This company is a robber. They have a department in the U.S called risk management department, which can hold your money for "risk check" for as long as they want (months) and then tell you that base on the info you provided, the momey cannot be released and you have to refund the money. They dont care if you have delievered your service/product or not, refund or they hold the money forever. But they will still charge your transaction fee immidiately from your bank account when the transaction happens, and the fee is not going to be refunded to you even thay asked you to refund the transaction. By the way, they never reply emails. Small business stay away from them, unless you have strong law service.

I was very skeptical of cash machines and phone readers until I got in contact with First Data. Adil Shamim, (Account Manager-Inside Sales) was very patient with me. Honestly it took a week to get through all my questions and concerns. I looked at all the other offers from different companies and I know I made the right decision to go with First Data. I want to thank Anisa Sokolovic at First Data Canada, and Donovan Atherley at Authorize.Net for helping our little not-for-profit co-operative theatre join the 21st Century with e-commerce. Our theatre has been in business since 1947, and up until the pandemic, we only did business in cash. We closed our theatre in March to help keep our community safe from COVID-19, and we will open when it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we have been able to use our new Internet membership platform to ask our co-op members to renew their annual memberships and for new members to join on-line. Anisa and Donovan helped us through the process of creating our e-commerce platform, and this is going to help our community theatre survive the pandemic, and prosper post-pandemic. Salhar was awesome to work with. He was thorough in explaining the process, pricing and to ensure I had a better understanding of the device and how it all works. He provided me with a comparative summary between First Data services and my previous service provider which helped me visualize my savings. Being a brand new business owner it is very difficult to know what to do and who to to trust when dealing with POS systems. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Frank Mancuso. He was professional, friendly, and very patient.

the clover is a great tool for debit and credit transactions. easiest one i have ever set up right out of the box. The interface on the clover is as easy as any smart phone, had it up and running in about 5 mins. Salhar Memon our first data rep, was amazing, very helpful thru the whole process. His follow up has been very professional and very timely.

Absolutely terrible customer service, I have never seen something so bad in my life. I got my terminal last week, it was not accepting debit when I payed for it to accept debit. They told me they didn't know we wanted debit... but they charged me for it? The first guy I spoke to said he was going to look into it, told me he will call me back after he does some research, I didn't get a call, then the second guy I spoke to told me he will have it fixed after the weekend. I called monday morning, and the guy said it can't get fixed Monday because it takes 4-6 business days for it to go through. I ask to speak to a manager he puts me on hold for 8 minutes and tells me that she is unavailable "on another call" and that she'll call me back in 4 hours.... I didn't get a call back. Absolutely horrific experience.

It is not worth to be nice to them over the phone because u will not get anything done. U need to be an a$$ so they will eventually help you or put u on the hold for 30 min

I was in the market looking to switch from my previous provider as I was paying way too much, plus had an old machine with no tap. I had a chance to connect with Sallar for my company Shafi Education. Sallar was extremely professional and made sure he answered all my questions. I was very iffy before going ahead, he did not push me at all. He let me take my time, do my research and gave me great rates. He also provided me with a brand new clover machine which I actually really like!

For many years I have dealt with other companies such as Moneris, TD BANK and I always thought TD Bank was the best until I realize, not only were they over charging me but the service was horrible, I have dealt with an agent Maryam Bin Yahya, at First Data and I have to say that this agent was prompt and efficient and provided me with the best service with the least amount of service charge. Everyone at First data has been especially pleasing and accomodating, Maryam, however, set the pace and made the initial experience even more beneficial, her soft spoken voice and encouraging emails has helped me to be more relaxed and business has been very good so far much better than when I was with TD bank.

The worst experience of my life...
After setting up an account through my broker First Data held almost every transaction our company processed. They held our funds for more that 2 weeks with no call or email from the rep who was handling our account. Tony Rodriguez was the employee who was assigned to our account, very unprofessional individual that I am assuming represents the companies values and lack of customer service. Once my funds were released they held a portion for no specific reason, I now have to follow up on a daily basis to try and get my funds released even though we have moved on and are satisfied with Elavon (much better company) smoother experience and great customer service. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, they have a very unorganized model and lack quality control. I wish google reviews allowed you to score a zero!

Service is horrible. Customer Service Reps, team leaders are confrontational, arrogant and condescending. They do not have any customer service skills and do not care to solve problems. Put you on hold for 20 to 30 minutes. It is a true nightmare.

Using first data from 2 years and regret not using their services from more than 10 years being in business. We used moneris, global payments and TD merchant and by far first data is the best among all the companies, their prices are the lowest, their terminals never have any problems and customer service is fantastic
