Great room, but no kitchen. It would be great to cook my own dinner, I'm just a chef going to waste.

The location and staff for this hotel were great. The issues were with the room and hotel. Stepping into the fifth floor and apart from over the elevator exit, there is no ceiling. It's just exposed wires, pipes and signs. The hotel is under refurbishment, however even in a refurbished room we had issues such as a lamp that even turned off would flash every 30 seconds, no hand towels, and bed sheets that felt more like paper than fabric.

Rooms was quiet small and little outdated but renovation was happening. Great place tho.

Quite poorly maintained and needs a good clean. Walls are shabby and there's a spider web hanging down my roof

It's a plain hotel. I wouldn't come here for a romantic getaway, but it's fine as a place to sleep while in town for an event.

I asked for a quiet room, and got one off the road, with a window to an internal courtyard / light well. It was pretty quiet, though a little small.

There was some confusion about whether breakfast was included in my room rate; the third morning there my name was apparently not on the list. It all worked out ok though.

Staff were lovely, helpful and extremely accommodating. Room was a refurbished family room. Room was very clean and comfortable, beds were new and very comfortable. Room was refreshed daily with towels and beds were made. Location was very central. Free WiFi. Highly recommend.

Had a good stay here with good customer service. Although it feels like one old student hostel instead of a hotel. Not so bad but not so good as well.
The breakfast options are healthy for both veg/non veg.

Good place to stay and very close to the main attraction in Melbourne

Hotel located on clearway and in a location that is very busy at other times. Whilst parking through 3rd party available, it cannot be booked online or over the phone which would permitting guests to drive directly there. If hotel will not allow parking to be booked when room booked and provide the access code, give this one a big miss.

You have a very lovely staff and a very clean hotel and breakfast is wonderful

Booked a 3 night stay at the hotel at the beginning of the year but with the COVID crisis, flights got cancelled and we were unable to make it over there. Emailed the hotel asking for any kind of help over a month in advance but did not even receive a response.

Not happy at all they are good at taking your money, but when it comes to providing services they fail on so many levels.

I stayed for 1 night on 06.06.18, the room we booked online, the pictures we seen looked great. We arrived and what we were greeted with was nothing like the picture. There was holes in the carpet, hole in the bathroom door, dusty, dirty and mound growing in the shower screen. The price we paid we should have Recieved something a lot better then we did. It was disgusting, disappointing and I wouldn t recommend it to anyone. There was no care given to their customers.

Great hotel at a reasonable price. Decent rooms with basic renovated bathrooms. Southern Cross Station is very nearby do it convenient when coming to the airport. The only negative is their old heaters sometimes make loud rattling noises even when switched off, which can wake you in the middle of the night!

Good room, but it was noisy due to something operating all the time, might be the ACs that are very old

Budget and premium rooms were advertised as the same thing. Both rooms were in poor condition for the price. Better off elsewhere.

Best location in town, a few steps to Southern Cross station.

Good for the price. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed and in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Was just a bit noisy (other patrons and some temporary construction)

300 for a few nights. I'm a bit worried about the structure. The ceiling is cracked. Showers like phyco. I want another room.

I think the hotal was fine for what I paid for. I didn't really notice the noise from the heater. Maybe I got a good room. I like the staff, and my room was very clean, internet worked fine, everything was great.

Building has"character". Rooms are clean and well presented and staff are friendly.

Location close to station is good too.

I did not like the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel, I had to ask to change the bed linen and vacuum cleaner in the room, even though they did not. As I stayed 16 days, I could witness that the cleaning is terrible, the breakfast a lot weak, did not even change the fruit choices and the coffee both past or the machine were horrible.Therefore I do not indicate and I will not stay other times if I go back to Melbourne.

My stay with a friend was terrible the photos are nothing close to what we received we recieved a dark dusty room with no sunlight we walked in and it wasn't the best first impression we walked in it was steaming hot like a heater was on but it wasn't and so we turned on the aircon started unpacking then realised that the room stunk of smoke then realised it was the aircon creating the smoke went to reception to ask for a fix and received a bottle of air freshener to fix the issue when in fact we were still breathing in the same smoke had to have the aircon on for the remaining 2 nights we were there our window seemed frosted but was actually graffitied the bathroom had much needed work and shower was like at a camping ground style came along with the worst water pressure and unsure water temperature going from 3rd degree burns to a ice cube temperature at any moment during the stay
The only part of this hotel that was good is it was well connected to the surrounding areas it felt more like a backpackers then a personal hotel and could of saved more money if I wanted this type of style this is nothing like staying in ibis hotels I know of this must be the overseen ignored part of the franchise at further upset they had construction being done on the hotel at awful hours of the day and wasn't aware until we got there isn't good enough

Wifi is not very stable when the TV connect to Netflix

I notified the reception twice but it still not worked...

Was a nice cheap place to stay in the city. They stuffed my booking up but quickly fixed it for me. Just basic rooms but good for the price for the middle of the city. Good location.

So central and good price. Small rooms with no windows or looking at another building but its clean, great to stay the night or few and so close to everything.

Convenient location. Room and bathroom run down. Needs a renovation. But everything worked and bed was comfortable. Nightly rate is good. Nice place for breakfast next door.

Facelifted tired hotel. Initially looks bright and modern but look closer and you see through the facelift in the corridors and public areas. Noisy as sound insulation is poor. Rooms however are well modernised, although a bit on the small side.

Lost one star due to poor wifi however other than that the room was comfortable, had a good size bathroom, clean and tidy, decent tv, nice air conditioning, friendly staff

Avoid this hotel. I am Gold Status and I have stayed in many Accor hotels. The service in this hotel is awful and you won t be able to use your points even if it is clearly written on the Accor Hotel website. This hotel doesn t deserve to be part of Accor hotels.

Love it! Great locations, close to restaurants, train station and shops.

This place is an absolute dump! mattresses and boxspring is just hanging out in the hallway, dirty carpet, uncomfortable beds, and not to mention I didn't even have a safety lock on my door !!! I would never ever ever stay here again.

Mould all over ceiling in bathroom, filthy windows. Breakfast was awful and i had no room to sit when I got it.

Walls and shower are absolutely filthy, spent the majority of the time that I first got here cleaning the place. No conditioner, limited to half a roll of toilet paper. Difficult to sleep due to nightclub noise. Aside from room dissatisfaction, staff were accommodating and friendly. I would never book here again unless their house keeping staff stepped up and cleaned what was visibly dirty

Nice enough for a cheaper hotel. Certainly not flash but gets the job done for a bed and bathroom in the city

Lots of outside light at night from inside a shaft area that could not be blocked out with blinds
Only plus was the location close to Southern Cross Station
Bedding was not clean some looks like blood stains, old towels found in drawers
Doona cover was not covered just the sheets top and bottom but definitely not clean
Would not stay there again

It has a good location... Specially for people looking for Indian food. Savarna Bhavan has just opened close by.

Clean but very old building and rooms. Creaky floors, collapsed mattresses. Tiny old bathroom - great for those who love to bump their elbow on the wall. Nowhere near The experiences I've had with Ibis Budget elsewhere.

Relatively modest hotel with plenty of rooms single, double and family style rooms and is not to expensive comes with smart tv Netflix and YouTube friendly staff

The epitome of average. Main concerns were the noise from the nightclub and the lack of convienant/cheap parking.

It's newly renovated.. Even though there are still some minor issues, it's totally worth the money..

great affordable accommodation in very convenient location & most of the needed amenities..the included [in some booking packages] continental [+ full cooked extra] Breakfast is lovely..& even has smoking balconies..& great full coverage high speed WiFi (with TV access to your Netflix/YouTube/etc..the only downfall is their house keeping -general room cleanliness upon arrival & included room cleaning service during stay could be so much more thorough- especially as the new renovations make the rooms feel more homely & comfortable (it's a pity that the below average cleaning will ruin the currently fresh new rooms quicker than necessary!?)..otherwise staff make your stay feel welcome & convenient..!

Good simple hotel with all the basic amenities you want (plus shower is always properly hot!). Staff are friendly and responds quickly to requests. Stayed with them a few times now and we haven't found another cheap hotel in the Melbourne CBD with better value.

Great staff, very newly renovated room, close to station. The hallways to rooms are a little poky and run down however the room itself albeit small was spotlessly clean and newly renovated. Would definitely stay here again.

l stay there when I go to melbourne it's close to the railway station and bus easy to get to the city plus the tram are great

We parked outside the hotel for our stay, the hotel receptionistinsisted that the clear way started at 7:30am, we get up and the car is gone (7am clearway) $425 later, we are not happy.

We love this place. Second time we have stayed even though renovations are going on. It is right in the heart of Melbourne and close to everything. Staff are friendly and able to help with anything you want to know. Just a short walk to Crown and the train stations. Hotels and night clubs close and convenience store right across the road. Do yourself a favour and check it out
