Ian's Pizza on State Reviews

I was with a party of people eating pizza from Ian's at the designated tables outside the establishment. The restaurant was very busy and variety and display of pizzas looked absolutely delicious. Their salads were great.

I seriously thought they couldn t top their delicious pizza.. until I tried their new salads. They are amazing! I ve had them 3 times now and every time I m shocked how good it is.

Ian's is a great hang out place, my father does Uber and tells stories about him having a long night and stopping to grab a slice (or two). Granted, most of us have only been there once, my recent visit was for prom dinner with my girlfriend. If you want a suggestion, go for the chicken bacon ranch or the smokey pizzas.

I always have a great experience at Ian's. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pizza is unusual and delicious.

It's the most delicious pizza you ever going to get. Also the slices are extra large and the best of all is the variety of toppings like Mac and cheese, pesto and tomato, chicken Alfredo, chorizo and Pico de gallo etc... The workers are always super friendly, nice environment!! I love Ian's Pizza!!

Ian's is a solid college pizza joint. These reviews complaining about waiting ten minutes are hilarious. Entitled small town kids are adorable hahaha

Our friends introduced us to Ian's Pizza after attending the Nutcracker Ballet. I was incorrect to think it would be another typical pizza joint. Their take on pizza is fantastic! Their fresh salads were also fantastic! The menu offered many different options of pizza, salads, breadsticks, and beverages. My family each enjoyed the macaroni and cheese pizza while I enjoyed a wonderful "house" salad, spinach with feta pizza, and the buffalo chicken pizza. All were delicious and the slices were huge :) The restaurant itself was warm and clean with friendly staff. Overall a great dining experience, we hope to visit again soon.

Been going there for years...always loved it. Last couple of times the place is so unkempt. It was dead in there, and yet every table I went to, was filthy and full if crumbs. Trash was overflowing, and the nastiest part was that in November there so many huge fruit flies lingering around the sauce and spice trays. That is a sign when it is that cold of unhygenic practices. My caesar salad lettuce was wilted and soft. I will forgive it once, but this is now several times that it is like this. Going downhill for sure!

Even when they're swamped they always help me out and are really kind. I adore their staff that have been there for a while.

Different pizzas to choose from and and the deliver. Open late. Very popular and busy. Close to capital.

Oh how I miss Ian's. The best drunk food in the world. Smokey the bandit is incredible. Mac and cheese is a great classic. I liked the new addition of bread sticks. Also great salads and puppy chow.

Good selection of pizza by the slice. The pizza is cooked well and taste good. The fountain drinks have a better than average selection. The biggest negative is the fact that it doesn't have a concrete closing time, it closes at "late".

Love their Mac and Cheese pizza and has a nice cozy atmosphere when not super busy.

Made it insanely difficult to order pickup. Will not be ordering again.

You can't leave Madison without experiencing Ian''s. Great by-the-slice place that supported the protest for worker's rights in 2011 for which it was internationally recognized. Also just comped me a delicious slice of pie because they were out of the one I asked for!

Terrific vegan pizza options. Lines were long but food was great. Enjoyed the out door seating.

Always love Ian's pizza. Always unique combinations and flavors. Mac n cheese is a must try and the brisket pizza was way better than expected. Not only a late night stol after the bars, really good place to grab a slice for lunch too!

Large variety of interesting specialty slices, but their base recipe leaves something to be desired. Don't go near bar time - the line will be out the door.

Great pizza, and all of the times I've been there, great staff! The pizza is fast as long as long as they don't have to make an entire pizza as they are out, but I believe this to be the best pizza in Wisconsin!

If you are the type of person that enjoys a slice of pepperoni pizza, this place is not really anything special. However if you like trying different combinations on your pizza - this is the place to go.
Pizzas are mainly sold by the slice.

Cool little pizza joint open late, was really helpful when we were out on the town and wanted to grab a bite. Tons of really interesting, unique pizza options with different toppings and types of pizza. Also vegetarian and vegan options. Slices were also large and reasonably priced. I really liked coming here and I'll definitely come back if I'm in Madison and need a late-night bite.

Ever want to kill yourself after eating pizza? If you answer no you have not ate here. Possibly the most overrated pizza place in the world. If you like old and cooked pizza that is reheated for a minute then cold again by the time you sit down come eat here. The phrase it is awesome drunk food is pointless. Pretty much any food is good drunk food.

At 6pm I got the smokey BBQ and my husband got a slice Mac & Cheese and a slice of pepperoni... Both were great! At 2am I got a slice gyro pizza and my husband was waxing poetically about his new favorite pizza place in Madison... We just moved back from out of state and it is wonderful to find good pizza no matter where you are.

This place is perfect for a quick snack after comedy club or overture. Their pizzas are always interesting and delicious.

Fabulous pizza slice selections in a setting that is spacious, high vaulted ceilings. Great salad bar, very vegan-minded. They even carry people doggie treats. Yum.
