I Hotel and Conference Center Review

Dinner was wonderful and the room was set up so beautifully for the event.

Stayed here two nights for a conference. Great location of you're heading to a sporting event on campus - just across the street from everything. Clean modern room with OK views. Lobby area was cool with a lot of modern touches. Wireless was iffy throughout the whole property. I ended up just turning it off. Oh yeah, there's a Starbucks so that's worth a star on its own.

I enjoyed the room. There are cute touches like a cozy knit blanket on the couch and books in the room. The lobby has a lot of comfy seating and a nice fireplace.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk to the university and stadiums. Staff very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Rooms are impeccably clean, with many small details that make the stay enjoyable. Beds are wonderful. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, much better than average fare. Highly recommended.

Very nice and clean hotel. One thing to note is that they have many things available to keep or borrow if you ask. There's a list in the bathroom (a sticker on the mirror, at least for me).

Great facilities, although they should turn down the A/C. I could almost see my breath...

My friend and I had a craving for a hot cheesy breakfast on a cold day, and the IHotel restaurant certainly delivered! We ordered quickly from the bar and left with our food quickly as well. Our breakfast sandwiches were excellent, and I appreciated having fruit as a side. The starbucks inside the hotel is limited, but the service and coffee is great.

I've been to several high school reunions, but have not spent the night. Food and service are very good, but the conference rooms and hallways are extremely reverberant which makes it hard to converse.

Wedding was fine. Was not given proper information about rooms and fees. When I went to discuss this via a phone call I was barked at and told I was wrong. I asked why I was never sent an email with all the appropriate information and they said they didn't because I didn't request it even though I didn't know I could request it.

Attended a party in the ballroom, the food was perfectly served, the cash bar is a bit steep.

They have conference hosting down to an art form. The decor, location, and food are perfectly fine, though not memorable. The audio/video setup is excellent. I was particularly impressed with the pleasant, friendly and professional catering staff. I did not stay in the hotel overnight, so I can't comment on the accommodations.

I was there for a formal social event that included open bar and food. The wait staff were incredible. They kept up with drinks and taking away plates. Everything was extremely clean including their restrooms. The staff outside the event were helpful and and extraordinarily friendly. The food was delicious. My only complainy is while they had a lot of options on alcohol their "bartenders" did not know how to make almost any drinks aside for a rum and coke. They did take guidance well if you knew how to make the drink you were requesting. It was a lovely place. I would definitely recommend.

I attended this conference center for a veterinary coating ceremony. The place was very clean and professional. The banquet food was delicious and fresh, and the staff was welcoming.

Basically the same as a Holiday Inn Express with a poor breakfast

The I hotel has a great conference hall. The service was great, though the staff were only there for a little over an hour. The room was confortable with good lighting and good acoustics.

My family stayed overnight at the I Hotel for a wedding. The location is ideal for families that have students at UofI. The hotel is a little pricy in my opinion. The room was very clean and spacious!

Great venue, was here for a meeting. Good snacks, and pleasant atmosphere. They have EV Chargers in the parking lot and good wifi. My only beef was that the chairs for the meeting were narrow/crowded

Attending as a guest of a conference, I was impressed by the food and the service. They served a buffet of items catering to a variety of diets, and everything was delicious. One guest couldn't resist nibbling at her jerk chicken before she could sit, its aroma was that tempting. Perfect!

Is there a pool? No, there isn't. It was clean and had a bar so it was serviceable.

Great space for events, with good catering services. I've actually been to the I Hotel for numerous events, and have always had a good time. The spaces are well separated and have decent soundproofing. For instance, the last time I was there, a wedding reception was going on next to the event I was attending, and we could not hear their event at all. Food from their catering service had been good, too.

The conference room was large, beautifully set-up, and the staff were extremely helpful. I feel they were able to handle a 500+ person conference in an organized fashion. Highly recommended!

Fresh. Modern. Great style. Rooms come with Alexa - blessings or curse - you decide.
The windows don't open so we couldn't get much fresh air (sorry - we like it).
Breakfast is in the attached Houlihans. Very limited but good selection. Including vegetarian options + outdoor sitting (fresh air!). Coffee was bad so we paid extra to use the Starbucks also inside the hotel.
Overall 4.5*, but giving them 5 for now.

The I Hotel is directly across the street from much of the UIUC Research Park making it an awesome place to stay and walk right to the offices one may be visiting, there's nearby access to Neil street taking you in and out of downtown Champaign as well. The rooms are well furnished, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast is decent.

Modern interior and exterior. Banquet room is simple and rather small, but has projectors which is great for dinner speech.

I was there for a year end banquet to celebrate professional awards. The service and food were good. It would have been nice if there had been a vegan protein option.

The staff is courteous, the conference rooms are spacious depending on size of your audience. Some of the presentation gear is legacy and needs updated, but usually works. If there are issues, they do have staff to assist.

Just went to the bar houllihans. Nice staff, but the drinks are only so so. Had the blandest bloody Mary possibly ever.
