Great play area for the kids, but with such a big park, pretty much anyone should be able to find something of interest.

Great play area, but crazy. Every time I go there is a sea of kids. You almost need a gps on them to find them after they enter the play zone.

Love this place! And I'm glad to see some repairs to the rubber ground as well as the (seemingly) fixed wasp problem from a few years back. Plenty of age appropriate climbing.

Awesome playground!! The mist area is a big hit on hot days! Concessions and miles of easy walking/biking trails.

One of my top parks if choice to get my morning running fix. Best part is trails are clear in the winter.

My favorite park. It has everything I want, beautiful scenery everywhere, running trails, and can easily find a quite spot to just sit.

Met friends to socially distance and have lunch together. I have lived in Bloomington for two years and had never been here. It was simply lovely and I learned about all the things offered here. I will be back.

Beautiful place. You can rent kayaks, canoes, pedal boats. Need to book online.
Nice picnic area, bike and walk trail. Lot of wildlife. You can fish. Saw some ducks, rabbits and deer.

Richardson Nature Center is awesome in Hyland Lake Park Reserve. So much to do outdoors and indoors. Also, great cross country skiing and alpine skiing!

Great park with lots of trails. Cleaned off well in winter, and a good mix of sun/shade in summer. Great for walks with little kids!

Great place to walk the dogs! Awesome picnic areas around the lake!

Very nice and vast natural park. Pretty good for hiking, biking and jogging. You can just lose yourself in surrounding nature for hours, unconsciously...
Somehow too crowded during the weekend though.

My kids love this park. I just wish there was more shade cover seats. It was so hot and sunny out. But there was no spots to sit. Because all the seats were taken by all the parents. Needs more shade and seating areas. But over all and fun place.

Amazing park. Lots of things to do like play ground, outside gym, lake, boat/pedal boat rentals

Spectacular playground. It has water features, but can get very hot. Bring a camp chair if you want guaranteed shade. Be ready for crowds.

Must figure out the migration patterns of edina/bloomington human families to find efficient times of engagement. Massive structures struggle to contain wild offspring. The size of the grounds is only matched by the size of the children's emotions, both positive while arriving and negative while departing.

This is a good place for kids. Lots of play area for them. Good family park.

One of the only parks that is made of pretty much all ropes. Great for playing tag. The playground is huge, and around the lake there are great trees for climbing.

We didn't get the full experience. It was wet, cold and rainy...not fun

Very nice park honestly, we took my dog there on the nicest day in the fall. Nice long walking path to take. Leaf's where really pretty and they don't mind if you pick a few

Hyland lake park reserve is part of the Three Rivers Parks. Most Three Rivers Parks have an 18-hole disc golf course except for the park in Minnetrista which only has a weird 3 baskets. By far Hyland has the most elevation. You must be physically fit to play this course. It's definitely a fun course to play due to the killer shots off the top of the ski slopes. Even though it's physically demanding, it's a course every avid player should experience. They actually have a pro 18-hole, and a separate beginner 9-hole.

Fun playground. Bigger than usual park playgrounds.

It's nice place for family outing or birthday celebration. Play area is huge and kids would love it.

This is a cool place to go when you just want to relax and refresh..

Really good food for a fair price. The portions are huge. Great service, and you can sit outside. A lot of people from the nearby office towers come for lunch so it can be busy.

This park another name is Chute & Ladder...it's very favorite park for kids and family...!
This park is part of three river Park & Recreation in Minnesota. Very much attractive place in summer even all season long people liked to go there.

Hidden Spot of nature in Bloomington suburb of Minneapolis. Beautiful walking and bike paths. Absolutely awesome lake.

As a first cross country skier this place brought back memories of my childhood when I downhill ski speed in the Spokane mountains. It is amazing the Chalet is cozy and the trail was perfect

Well groomed Cross country skiing course with well lit path, perfect for night skiing. Friendly and helpful staff.

One of the few places you'll find snow in the cities right now! No ski rentals at this time however.

Great cross country skiing! Beautiful building and park. Great that they make snow and have a great base and with the 6" overnight and 32 degree temp, was beautiful! Would definitely recommend checking out the park with it's beautifully groomed trails!

Play disc golf course as part of the Three Rivers park pass. Course is challenging and improving. Park hikers come into play too often.

Best Saturday drive ever! Not quite what I remember as a kid but BETTER! The playground is amazing, fenced in so it gives you the added layer of security because you can easily see why it would be a crowded place on any decent day. I wod say there were about 30 other kids there and normally for my kids that would have been to much. Not at all. They have a misting station so on those hot days kids and parents can stay cool. The trails are just as amazing as the playground. If your a walker or biker these trails are for you. There was a huge pond and what appeared to be picnic areas throughout.

It's a beautiful and peaceful place to be. Just take a breath of fresh air and feel nature.

For a small ski hill in MN, this place offers a lot of options.

Great cross country ski trail system! Groomed regularly and lit for night time skiing, a perfect place for first timers or anyone looking for a good Hill workout!

Highland Park is by far 1 of the top 10 parks in the state of Minnesota this place is awesome my kid just loves it I love it too it's a good place to go fishing they also rent paddle boats it's a good place to bring your canoe you name it. There's also miles of trails to ride your bike on or go hiking there's so many things to do at this park it's unbelievable and the play area can be used by Grown Ups 2 so you can chase your kid all through the park just try to keep up with them your kid will never want to go play at Burger King ever again no Park will ever be the same once they've been there on a scale of 1 to 10 this park is a 12

Went on a Sunday afternoon and the park was absolutely perfect. We haven't been for years and everything was just as I remembered. Plenty of other people, yet it did not feel crowded.
