This park is so fun! It's got a play place for every age and so much space for running around. My one worry about it is that it is so huge and that there are so many places that your child can leave the play place from. That's my only thing keeping this from 5 stars. I was very uneasy for the first half hour or so, following my charge (I'm a babysitter) around to make sure I could see him. BUT, he loved it and once we established a check-in, it was good!

Second best and most challenging disc golf course in the Twin Cities the only thing better you're going to find is Blue Ribbon Pines, but you can't beat that view and their new Pro Shop and Chalet is incredible.

I couldn't wait to buy my season pass.

Sweet little hiking trails. Enjoyed doing all of the loops around the lakes and in through the wooded areas and fields. The park is HUGE! We live 3 miles away and had no idea it even existed! Nice surprise.

Staff were unfriendly to high school racers at our section meet today. Temperature was one below zero and they want to kick us out of the main chalet. They claimed the volume of students was to much. Unfriendly and unwelcoming for high schoolers who all have season passes to the park. South Suburban Section meet. Short sighted staff members need to remember their client base in the future. Thanks Don

BEAUTIFUL place....hard to believe you're in the middle of Bloomington. This is a real gem and worth a visit if you want to take a break from the daily grind & enjoy some peace, quiet & nature. There's picnic areas, hiking trails, and all kinds of different activities to do for young & old. This is part of the Three Rivers park system. We were there on a school field trip & their staff were awesome. Go online & check out the wide variety of activities available here, and I believe the staff mentioned that most of it is free of charge. Leave the electronics behind & enjoy some family time at this lovely park & lake area!

Great snowmaking, wide trails to handle lots of skiers, hills and flats in progressively more challenging loops make this an ideal place for Nordic skiing. When there is enough natural snow, lots of groomed trails for all skiers.

Visiting from out of town, the granddaughters had such a wonderful time.
We went back in the late afternoon it was much more pleasant, not as busy.
Thank you for such a wonderful park, the locals are very blessed!

We live a short distance from this Park, and we know every trail here. Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring we are there. Walking or biking, and sometimes Skiing and snowshoeing, there's always time. We have seen many different animals, birds, and fish in Hyland lake. It's a gem to this Community, and we hope it continues.

This reserve gives you everything you could hope for in a suburban park. Light hiking trails, one of the biggest playgrounds in the Twin Cities, and well kept cross country skiing trails in the winter (with equipment rental)

Great park for picnics... especially for kids. They have a really great play area with lots of climbing/tunnel/sliding. And they have fun run through sprinklers! Lots of parking and picnic areas with reservable pavilions. There is a nice lake to walk around and you can rent paddle boats. Avoid the geese in the spring...they are protective parents and are not very nice. Just down the road a bit is the Richardson Nature Center... Check that out, too.
