The time spent on the whole journey is worthwhile....

The time spent on the whole journey is worthwhile. It is absolutely correct that the postcards are correct. When booking, the mountain view overwater bungalow suite was chosen. The lagoon and the Otemamu mountain view are more distinct.
Outside the beauty of the resort island, food is the first priority. This makes me a factor in Tahiti as it s ok, the price is not important and the quality is absolute.
The first night is BBQ, the buffet is not much to say, the island has less choice of dinner, although I do not like the buffet or arrange once, the barbecue beef is hard, the fish is generally, the ingredients are too big, two pieces of roast chicken Full of food
The second night was booked at the Sunset restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very good, and the dining mood was super happy. It was mainly based on Asian dishes, but I also ordered ribeye steak & local fish as the ingredients for the day. Not bad, but it doesn't reach the level of a five-star hotel.
On the third night, I booked the French dinner "Arii Moana", which is also my favorite restaurant. It really is the standard of French. It is more suitable for my appetite. The Australian lamb chops are excellent, no sheep smell, no Excessive oil and fat, but still delicate and chewy, the foie gras has a solid taste and is very mellow.
I seriously said that the restaurant evaluation of the Five Star Hotel is really not high, and the breakfast is still acceptable, but the quality of the ingredients can be further strengthened. After all, the island five-star hotel has lived several times, including the four seasons resort in other areas. .
Four seasons The atmosphere on the whole island is very good, the hotel staff is also very enthusiastic, so I still turn my mind to the beautiful scenery here!

overall an amazing experience. Great room, staff and food.
To me, the shuttle between airport and hotel had an unreasonably high price.
#1. It's not a private boat, we shared with 6 other passengers.
#2. It's only 15 min away.
It's ~125 dollar per person for the round trip. With the same price, we had a 4 hour circled island snorkeling tour in Bora Bora with only 5 other people!

Nothing to say. One word: EXCEPTIONAL.
All without exception was perfect. The most beautiful hotel on the island and surely one of the most beautiful places in the world. DARK WITHOUT hesitating !!

The location and grounds are gorgeous and beautifully maintained. The service is excellent any time, day or night in every situation. The overwater bungalows are spacious, supremely comfortable and beautiful in every detail! It's an exquisite beach/tropical travel destination and the Four Seasons has it all! No need to go anywhere else!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. The service was impeccable. The rooms were 5 star. I don't think I've ever slept as well as I have on those beds. Amazing place, bucket list location for sure.

We chose bora bora as our honeymoon destination. The place is simply magical and superb.
The four seasons offers a breathtaking view from the rooms on stilts! The setting is idyllic and the staff attentive.

The site is being renovated until December and unfortunately we did not escape the sound of hammers, saws etc.
The hotel is offering $ 100 as compensation for activities per day. it must be said that nevertheless the proposed activities are not given!
The rooms are sublime but it lacks a bit of refreshment: eg. Broken sink pipe leaking under the cabinet.

The breakfast was good with cooks who prepare dishes in front of you like: omelets, sweet or savory pancakes, pancakes, waffles etc.
Unfortunately for a 5 star hotel we found that there was not a lot of choice and the buffet was quite small.

The hotel has only 3 restaurants: sunset bar, fare nui and ari moana.

Many of the dishes were disappointing and bland. The ari moana, the signature restaurant was the only one that offered truly delicious food. Watch out for the wallet, anyway!

The water / jug of water is free but filthy. She tastes like chlorine! We can of course buy bottles of water but not local, ie import from France for 1000pf xD

Negative: Airport boat transfer cost XPF13,000 per person return. Wind can be a problem to do water activities. Restricted private beach not assessable if u are on the water. Hotel charges USD300 straight away on check in (not pre-authorisation). Sunscreen not provided in the rooms (unlike other resorts). Overwater bungalows rather close to each other and the way it s designed offers only partial privacy. Some rooms can be a distant away, and although u can request for a buggy ride (no bicycle or personal buggy). Pay TV can be tricky, be careful not to accidentally click ok. The beach is far from the best. Lastly, no milk is available in the breakfast buffet.

Positive: clean rooms and sheets. Friendly staff. Nice lagoon with corals and fishes. Wife throughout compound but can be slow and intermittent. Nice view. Complimentary self service washer and dryer. Kettle in room. Provide charging adaptors.

Disappointing: We have just spent a few days at this hotel and it is clearly substandard for this chain. The cabins on the sea are very nice but the rest of the hotel is vulgar. The restaurants, their food, their decoration and their service are more typical of an "all included" in Cancun than a Four Seasons. Room service is slow and inefficient. We had to ask on several occasions that they come to make the room (at three in the afternoon) and several days, as it was raining, they said that they could not perform the afternoon service. The offer of scarce activities and full of restrictions. In short, to see a good landscape you can go to any other cheaper hotel. The value for money a disaster. We will not return.

Great stay, but the food was mediocre and the property was a little "nickel and dimey". Normally I wouldn't knock a star off for this but given the remoteness of the island, it seems a little harsh to mark up basic necessities that are impossible to get elsewhere.

The Four Seasons Bora Bora is a fantastic resort. ...

The Four Seasons Bora Bora is a fantastic resort. We stayed at an overwater bungalow with 2 queen beds instead of 1 king - there are about 4 of these, so call them to confirm availability -the resort is pretty big and when you get tired of walking, you can call for a ride on a golf cart. The staff is super friendly- which is very consistent within all the places i traveled in Tahiti - genuine niceness.

Positives:
Flight into Bora Bora - easy with regional Air Tahiti
Ride to Resort - beautiful and quick boat ride
Paradise - leave your stresses for later when you go back home
Quiet - there are about 100 rooms but you barely see anyone
Pool - excellent and heated just right to about 80 degrees
Lagoon - ahh so nice. do wear shoes though, sand is mixed with coral
Breakfast - plenty of selections
Staff - genuine friendly
Rides back-forth to bungalow - they don't mind, if you tip you are king
Washer and Dryer available for guests - usually by ice machine
Early checkout - no problem, use concierge or spa to wait or shower
WI-FI- yes reliable and good speeds
Concierge - lots of activities
The weather - take SPF 100 sun screen
Pizza- excellent

Negatives:
Getting there- get ready for the heat and humidity in Papeete
Food Choices for room service - could be better
Prices of basic drinks and snacks - could be lower
TV - only 1 US channel, CNN - rest if all france or Tahiti based - suggest add others like Bloomberg, Fox, Bravo, a movie channel, maybe CBC for the canadians

We had a wonderful stay at FS Bora Bora. From start to finish it was the perfect stay.

When we arrived at the airport, we were warmly welcomed with a flower chain and cool drinks (water). Then we went directly to the hotel with the in-house shuttle boat (super nice nostalgic boat). We were completely alone on the boat and really enjoyed the crossing.
Once there, the check-in was quick and uncomplicated. Our room wasn't ready, so we walked around the area and sunbathed on the beach.

The hotel offers many activities. We enjoyed playing on the tennis court, among other things.
The concierge is very courteous and helped us with everything.

The rooms are cozy and spacious. The mattress on the bed was a dream. We were previously in other hotels in the South Seas and found the mattresses terribly hard.

We booked the hotel mainly because of the great wedding package. We had a wonderful traditional Polynesian wedding on the small island. Thanks again to Ranihei.
Everything was perfectly organized and an absolute dream. For years I have dreamed of this moment to get married in a beautiful wedding dress in the South Pacific.

After the ceremony we returned to our overwater bungalow and everywhere there were flower petals and everything was lovingly decorated. It was a wonderful atmosphere. We then enjoyed our delicious wedding cake and let the evening fade away.

The resort is beautiful, especially the lagoon for snorkeling.
We were also happy to take advantage of the room service.
The only thing that should definitely be improved is the free water that is available. It smells of chlorine, which shouldn't be in a house of this class.
We also loved the little touches on the beach. Sometimes there was small. Coconut pieces to feast on or a cool refreshment.

To say goodbye, Ranihei came by personally and gave us a small present on the way. We long for the FS Bora Bora ... it was fantastic!

Went here for our honeymoon. From start to finish, the staff were friendly and attentive. The attention to detail at this place is bar none. My wife and I tried almost all the activities, which were all wonderful. We highly recommend the snorkeling with sharks and rays if you have to choose just one activity. Summertime sangrias at Fare Hoa were awesome (my wife's go to on the trip). The 4x4 tour is also cool if you want to get off the resort/motu, explore the island, and see some history with WWII guns. You have to eat at Arii Moana within the resort at least one time. The strawberry desert was so good we ordered it twice in 1 night.

Tips: Bring a lot of sun screen (we had 4 6.9oz spf 50 spray bottles for 2 people 5 nights, perfect and we burn easy). We took a 2.5 oz bottle of bug spray, nice to have, but only used it for a couple night excursions. Didn't really need it, maybe we got lucky??? Have an extra pair of sunglasses (we both broke ours, hard to find an extra cheap pair; the store on-site at the resort had some nice ones for purchase at ~$400 US, so guess who didn't have sun glasses the rest of the trip...). Check in truly isn't until 3 PM, so have swimwear easily accessible to lounge around at pool or lagoons until your room is ready...they have a changing room for you at reception). If you have a long layover in Papete, the Intercontinental is a good place to hang out. 5 minute $14 US taxi ride and they gave us a place to shower, WiFi access, dinner, and access to the pools for $169 US 2 people.

Certainly expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you're going to paradise, might as well do it right at the Four Seasons.

Such a nice place. The room was very clean, the hotel staff was extremly friendly and helpful. It is quite expensive but worth the money for sure. The overwater Bungalows have an amazing view and there's plenty of restaurants to choose off.

Honeymoon with my wife!

Honeymoon with my wife!
Recommended for people who like island vacations, a place that must come once in a lifetime! Bora Bora has the title of Pearl in the Pacific Ocean. It is only here that you know what is a fairyland on earth. You don't have to arrange any itinerary. Just relax and enjoy this paradise on earth!

After getting off the plane, the receptionist of the hotel began to pay close attention to the service. From the boat, I immediately handed the cold towel and mineral water to the hotel dock. After the boat was disembarked, the receptionist immediately presented a unique comprehensive juice. After that, Buggy took us to the already arranged room and checked in the room (just the day we only stayed, it was equal to enjoying a fake VIP service). Moreover, the hotel has a Chinese receptionist (the focus is on the Taiwanese! But just the day before we arrived, he was not on vacation, it was all good.), after completing all the procedures, you can start enjoying this paradise holiday. .

Because it was a honeymoon, the hotel posted a new card and a full bottle of red wine, and helped us get chilled. Have to say really five-star resort hotel! The point is that we have already helped us to put a pool of bath water with rose petals! ! This is very intimate!

Said a bunch of nonsense!

The focus is on the introduction of the restaurant, at the Four Seasons Hotel Bora Bora, with four restaurants and a poolside bar!

ARII MOANA is a higher-end restaurant, with a partial French meal! The point is that you can't wear a swimsuit or a casual dress (it should be light clothing if you want to say it)
SUNSET RESTAURANT & BAR offers a choice of more dining styles, from Japanese, Chinese and Western, with different flavors and of course not to be treated as an orthodox meal, but equally delicious! And after dinner until 9 o'clock, it will turn into Bar ! Sometimes there will be live DJs singing!
TERE NUI is the place to have a daily breakfast, sometimes open in the evening to offer a multi-style buffet!

Finally, my wife's favorite spa! The Four Seasons Bora Bora's spa is located in the middle of the hotel, near the church, and faces a small pool that the average guest can't reach! It s hard to be a spa in a paradise-like place.
In addition, Gym's treadmill position is just facing the Pacific Ocean! It s really unimaginable to watch the endless ocean while running!

Finally, let's talk about the safer swimming area of the hotel. One is a paddling pool with a poolside bar, and the other is a lagoon inside the hotel. It is full of various tropical fish species, which will make people forget to return!

having said so much! Or take a walk in person to understand what is called Wonderland! When the kids grow up, bring them back to experience what is a nature vacation!

Paradise and Resort perfection! We stayed 10 Days ...

Paradise and Resort perfection! We stayed 10 Days here and every day had something new to offer and all activities were Unforgettable from the Manta and Shark Swimming to the Jet Ski Tour and Island BBQ to the Parasailing... The Kids looked after Themselves one Night too which allowed Me n My Mrs to have the Private Island Sunset Dinner for 2 which was a Memory We won t ever forget! Food was perfection and location was like from a Dream. The Hotel itself? Classy & Elegant. Amazing Rooms with tasteful luxurious interior design. The Staff? Brilliant! Every single one of Them kept calling Me by my name which was a lovely and homely touch. Breakfast is Superb. Lots to offer and should keep U going for most of the Day. (We actually Swam from the Overwater bungalow to Breakfast a couple of Times) The Location? Best on the Island IMHO. We visited some of the other high end resorts whilst there and none of them touched the Four Seasons for the Setting, Location and Grounds. The Grounds are kept immaculate! World Class Tennis Court (with Badminton and ping pong etc too) and a mesmerising Lagoon! Grab a Snorkel and Reef Shoes, Purchase a bag of Fish Food from the Concierge, Walk up to the Top of the Lagoon and let the natural and calm current float U down the Lagoon as U let the Fish gather around. Truly magical. Like a Huge Marine Aquarium but all natural. I could go on and on ... the Pool for example! So perfect. If U are undecided about which Resort (I spent 2 Weeks researching before I Booked) Know that the Four Seasons is the Gem (or should I say, Pearl) Resort of Bora Bora. Not cheap but worth it. We also came in July which is Haiva Festival which is incredible to Witness!! All in all, Better than My Expectations and My Expectations were set pretty high!

The service is hands down great.

The service is hands down great.

They get an one star because they charge outrages prices for everything. I understand it is a nice resort and things are going to cost above normal, but come on Four Seasons be just a bit reasonable. The basic room cost over $1000 usd/night.

Just a few facts:
-Private jet skis rental (not a tour, riding at your leasure with a guide): $450 usd
- Private boat taxi to the main island (< 4miles away): $250-350 usd one way. Yet they charge $12.50 usd per person each way on their scheduled boat taxi at 1:15pm & 4:45pm. 95% of businesses close at 5pm M-Sat, with the exception of few of restaurants that stay open past 5pm.

Cost of items on the menu:
-Chicken fingers (8): ~ $35 usd
-Bacon cheeseburger: ~ $35 usd
-Ceaser sald (no chicken): ~ $19 usd
-Vegitarian sandwich: ~ $34 usd

Other resorts in Bora Bora nickel and dime you, some more than others, according to people I spoke to during my stay. Hope this helps.

A singular resort in one of the most magnificent places on earth. Bora Bora is so stunning it defies description, and the resort is more than up to the task of matching its setting. The facilities are elegantly outfitted and beautifully maintained. The grounds were gorgeous and the housekeeping faultless. But like all great resorts, it is the staff that make it truly special. All throughout the resort, the pride that the staff takes in providing an exceptional guest experience is palpable. Two years later, we still reminisce fondly of the wonderful care Angele took of us at meals (Merci, Angele!) Highlights: fancy speedboat ride from the airport setting the tone for the whole stay; breakfast; heiva season; snorkeling with sharks outside of the lagoon; jumping in the lagoon straight from bed; quiet mornings on our balcony watching the colors on the lagoon and Mt Otemanu shift with the sunrise... We literally cannot wait to return!

We loved our stay at The Four Season Bora Bora. The views were beautiful, and the staff all went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. We upgraded to the plunge pool room and it was well worth it. The temperature was great. We could jump off the top into the water from our room- which was almost t the end of the boardwalk. Breakfast included a good thing to have because it was delicious but otherwise would have been expensive. Don t miss taking advantage of the cabanas by the pool.

The most magical place on the planet. The best vacation of my life that will never be topped. The Four Seasons service is always second to none. The food is amazing. The location, scenery, views, rooms over the water are like nothing I've ever experienced before. The onsite snorkeling lagoon and beach provided some of the most enjoyable snorkeling of my life. I could go on and on about this wonderful place, trust me when I say you will never find a better resort in the world!

This resort is the best of the best. Basically, it s ruined all other tropical places because nothing else will ever measure up. The customer service is chick-fil-a on major steroids. My water at the pool was never empty. I was always asked if I needed anything, but not in an annoying way. They d bring around fresh fruit and cold towels at the pool/beach. Everything you need, they have. Anything you want to do, they can make it happen.

One thing I loved was that you could bring your own floatie, they d blow it up, take it to your hut and give you rope to tie it to your bungalow. So cool!

They have sooo many excursions. We swam with sharks and rays through a company that picked us up at the hotel. You can parasail, scuba, jet ski, sunset tours, water planes, helicopters, you name it. But if you want to stay put, there s much to do. You can snorkel in their own lagoon that has tons of fish! They have canoes and paddle boards, too. This place is a legit screensaver everywhere. You can get a flower crown made, have fresh coconuts. Instagram heaven.

I won t lie, this place is an investment. Do NOT expect or try to come her on a budget. The rooms are not cheap but boy are they amazing. Food as well. Best hotel/resort food I ve ever had. Great fresh fish. The food at the pool/beach area was insanely good.

Literally no negatives, except for a barbecue night at one of the restaurants ended up being very sub par. But I believe that s because it was more group catered dinner fashion. Everything else was exquisite. Try the Mediterranean Buddha bowl and mahi mahi burger at the pool. Wow.

All in all, this place gets 5 stars. It s expensive for a reason. Literal heaven on earth. Will definitely be back if I can.

This is a very disappointing hotel because there are so many bugs than I thought.

I was so disappointed that I started with a pillow, and there were bugs all over the bed, toilet towels, and bugs flying everywhere in the living room.

So many flying bugs.

They told me their not harmful and changed the sheets for fist night. Next day, house keeping dept. cleaned the whole room and still bugs came out. They should do somthing with bugs. It's not acceptable bugs are coming out in $2000+ per night hotel.

If they were only few, I could understand since it's so natural place. But there were countless flying bugs keep coming inside from somewhere (I wish I can upload a video for a prof.)

Other than room, everything was pretty nice.
Many complimentary activities and friendly staffs.

Reminded me too much of LA - with a few more coconuts. See and be seen mentality. I prefer the anonymity of the St. Regis next door.
Will be at the Conrad later in the year and what I see could be the new gold standard in Bora. More to follow...

I was in Bora Bora what more to say
Very nice hotel. The rooms near the beach have their own private garden with whirlpool bath. Air-conditioned bedroom and patio door that opens onto an intimate closed bamboo veranda but you can open two large windows to look at the beach and the sea. So, allowing privacy and observation is much appreciated. Meals are very, very, very expensive, close to $ 100 Canadian for a delicious buffet, but all in all banal we were hallucinated. Take the most meals included poaaible. Massage before leaving, superb I regret not having been able to do a tattoo, but they have someone there some days of the week. Possibility of a nice snorkeling in front of the hotel as well as several water activities. Superb trip!
