Never been disappointed staying with Hilton
I find it hard to believe people who write the bad reviews

Loved the view from our room, some staff seemed knowledgeable and nice while other staff members didn't have a clue and seemed unwilling to share information about Philadelphia with tourists or even knew what services their hotel provided to guests. Overall a nice stay, a bit of improvement on some of the staff's attitude would give it 5 stars then

For beginners the view we had of the river and the city were outstanding!!!! The hotel itself was very clean and hygenic.. The staff was very friendly and welcoming... Food and drinks were to die for but shout out to the bartender who took care of us around 8pm shift... sorry dont remember your name your service and drinks were amazing

Staff was very friendly and helpful but the quality of service provided was awful our first room the shower handle was completely broke couldn't turn the shower or tub on. The standing closet door was hanging on by a thread. The ac was terrible and barely worked. So they moved us up a floor and in the new room the ihome never worked, they never came to the room to change out our towels, wash cloth, linens, or gave us coffee for the coffee pot that was included.. Last thing was the elevator's wait time, which was terrible.

Great location, near old city and can easily walk to most attractions. It's located on the Delaware River and has a park next to it. Room was clean and bed was good. Had great views. Their shuttle service was convenient for the places we couldn't walk to

Nice flagship property with the usual amenities. Self parking was easy and location is good to get around the area. Rooms were standard but was lucky enough to get the owner s suite by random chance. Checked in late and it was all that was available. Guess I had high enough status for the bump. The room was more like an apartment complete with living room, formal dining, kitchen and a walk out balcony. Definitely bigger than most city apartments I ve been in! While I don t think I will get that lucky again I would definitely stay here again.

Buttons in the elevator are confusing. You have to stand in the bath tub to have shower. Breakfast choice is quite limited and staff is not friendly. One wierd waiter took away my plate without saying anything.

I honestly would not recommend this hotel. The sanitary procedures that are in place are lacking. Our room was not "Lysol" clean. There was hair in the bathroom and on the towels. The furniture was dusty. Make sure to bring your own sanitary wipes so you can disinfect it.
The police were at the hotel every night. I know that the hotel can not control the guests that make reservations but it was not very comforting. My standard for a Hilton is much higher. Next time we visit Philly, we will not be staying at this hotel.

I live Hilton and the expectations that come with the brand. Unfortunately, this location did not live up to Hilton standards. First off, at check in, there is no difference between the gift for a gold or a platinum, the lounge was lacking both food and had a unstocked fridge with very limited selection. The room was cold and the air conditioning was on when I entered even though it was the middle of January. The location was good due to being next to winter fest. But I think I will stay at the Logan next time.

Room was amazing. We had the view of the Delaware river and South philly on the 19th floor. The only gripe I had was that the front desk associates were a little unfocused when it came to customer service. I called down to the front desk and they put me on hold to figure out if they had an hdmi cord, after over 20 mins on hold waiting for a reply a different person answered and told me no. It was a lot to unprofessional but didn't take away from the room

Even for a holiday weekend, overpriced (though less overpriced than some of the more centrally located alternatives). Rooms are fine. Pool is a nice touch. Views are good...you just don't really have a view of much. Hotel is otherwise ok. Location is good, if you don't mind walking. Anyway, I left a very expensive shirt in the closet, called several times to try to get it back, was bounced around every time so called, and ultimately the shirt magically disappeared and I'm down a shirt that cost about 1/2 a nights stay. Dishonesty, lack of accountability, I just don't have any respect for that, wherever the responsibility lies. I'd like to think if I were the manager, I would have offered to replace the shirt after I called several times and got the run around, but I got "sorry, don't know what you're talking about". Oh well.

Lovely room service, wonderful staff, was given wine on the house. My wife and I love it. Beautiful view of the river and Ben Franklin's Bridge. It's a bit high end, so we felt a bit under dressed, but no one seemed to care. Fair warning, we are diamond members so that might make us a bit biased.

From planning and booking to leaving from our stay we had a wonderful experience. The agent we spoke to was amazing and I enjoyed the interaction and care she took in making sure we would get everything we wanted and needed for our quick kid-free romantic night away to reset as exhausted parents. We requested a room on the highest floor we could get without having to pay more, room with a view of the water, lots of windows and she even pointed out a special package that included a bottle of champagne, chocolate and parking.

Check-in thru the app was seamless with the keyless entry. Once we arrived the room was clean, basic toiletries provided, a cozy room with a view. I love the beds at Hilton so no complaints there plenty of pillows to make a nook, down comforter and clean linens. We were told that the restaurant and bar were opened but had to grab and take to our room. The con was that the lobby was extremely crowded and the full restaurant wasn't opened so we had the option of pricey bar food which was eh. But great to be able to sit and eat socially distanced and didn't have to take up to our room. And the bar tender made delicious and strong drinks. There isn't a spa on the premises and so we contacted a mobile masseuse which really dialed up our quick getaway. The remainder of our stay was comfortable and we called for late checkout with no issues. Overall this overnight stay was just what we needed, we felt safe during these covid times, we had a wonderful view of the water, bridge and ice skating. We would love to stay here again, rates were fantastic and hope we are able to stay in the same room.

The room was spacious and clean and had most of the amenities I could want. The view was beautiful. Biggest complaints are that they did not have enough elevator capacity to handle a full hotel during a business conference, and two lamps in my room didn't work.

Room was clean. Front desk staff suck and could care less you are there paying their paycheck with yours. Downstairs restaurant was horribly slow with only a couple of other tables seated

The staff was so helpful and made sure that I could be independent and do things like go to the gym. (I'm in a wheelchair), they even set up the shuttle to take me to my doctor's appointment at the hospital when we checked out the next morning and not having to transfer from my wheelchair to a car made my day so much easier to just be able to get where I needed to go. Everyone there didn't treat me any different just because of my wheelchair and it was so nice to be treated like just a person not someone who is ill.

Solid hotel, best part is the location. Right on Penn's landing, in walking distance to old city, South Street and a beer garden right next door. Clean rooms with great views of the city and waterfront. Service is always good as well.

I had stayed at the Hilton previously as an overnight guest and enjoyed my time thoroughly. This trip, however, was simply walking my Pokemon Go-playing boyfriend to a lunch with his mom. Apparently, that went well. The food that I got as leftovers was exceptional.

Great hotel. Good rates, especially when you book in advance or through Priceline. The restaurant is amazing also but unfortunately they're only open for takeout because of Covid.

This hotel is truly a great place!
Me and my girlfriend spent 4 nights here and the service was exceptional.
We stayed on the 12th floor and it had a great view of the River and Penn's landing.
They also have an executive lounge down by the lobby where you can have some snacks and beverages.
The restaurant and bar downstairs is also very great!
I was impressed.

The hotel bar has decent drinks and a solid burger. My room however, was incredibly musty. The AC was 100% broken, and it made the room feel like a sauna. Ventilation was awful. We called the desk to ask to switch rooms and explained our issue, but they told us there was no way due to the hotel being at 75% capacity. Apparently the 25% of the rooms left were probably also just as bad with the ventilation (sarcasm). 2 stars is simply for a well grilled burger that somewhat saved my night.
