We stayed on the 23rd floor. The glass elevator is amazing. You can see the Superdome across the street. We have been able to walk or take a trolley everywhere we have visited. There are several restaurants in the hotel and sevel in walking distance. There is a Starbucks on the second floor. The trolley and the Hop on Hop off bus stops right in front of the hotel.

Me and my husband just stayed at the Hyatt this past weekend for the Backstreet Boys concert and I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a getaway in the city. It is very beautiful in the inside, great views overlooking the city. It is close to the quarter and walking distance to the Superdome and Arena. Room is very spacious and they keep their rooms very clean. They have several restaurants and even a Starbucks inside the hotel. And their rates are very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Stay here for Mardi gras and everything from the food & hotel staff to the hotel room was 5 star! Great downtown location and walking distance to Canal and Bourbon street No complaints would definitely stay here again!

The ADA ROOM was perfect, the Valet and Bellsmen were awsome. from there went down hill New Orleans is a drinking state and your Elevator system is the worst and my opion not safe. we saw one over loaded and opened half of floor... it is very Time consuming, not user friendly on a first visit. your maid service was great first day, next day had to ask for soaps and toilet paper. Lunch meal on first day took 2 hrs to receive. late for meeting. left key in room and took security over 20 min to arrive. very disappointed in overall for as much room and all charges added paid. being a tourist city.

Too much of a journey to get to room, especially if you Smoke . Need to walk from check in to the back of hotel then up 2 escalators to get to room elevators. Great bed. Clean updated rooms. Right beside smoothie King arena and superdome. Starbucks coffee in room.

The most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed at. Our room had the most perfect view of the Superdome and with that said, it was the best location to stay at for the Saints game. Waking up to the Superdome view is so incredible. I can't stress that enough. The bed was super comfortable..probably the best sleep I've had in awhile too. I forgot to mention the bar and restaurant were amazing, so many tv's! Lol

It was just ok, upgraded my room to a so called "suite" that the front desk up sold me on and the room ended up being cramped and very oddly shaped. Just happened to be the one dang room on the floor that was right beside the stair well is whh our room was so cramped. Rooms need updating also

There was a party going on the night of my check in so it was a little busy and hectic, the staff looked a little stressed but were handling it well. I booked a room last minute for my mother and I, as I had a change in plans, the day we were planning on staying. When we went to go check in that night we were told the room still needed to be "inspected". He was very friendly, apologetic, and professional. We went and sat down and waited about 15 minutes and went up again and asked if our room was ready yet, as we were tired, hungry, and just wanted to get up to the room. He apologized again for the inconvenience and gave us credit for the wait and inconvenience. We also got a room with 2 queen beds instead of the 1 king bed we booked, which was no problem at all. Overall the staff was all super friendly and helpful and it is a nice hotel. I will probably stay again next time I'm in new orleans.

I came here for a convention, and while it's a very nice hotel, it's also a maze and not very handicap accessible. The escalators only go to every other floor, and the elevators appear to only be usable with a room card, meaning that many local convention attendees were unable to use them. This is the second time I've come for this convention (the last being in '17), and both times the escalators broke. Several people in my group alone struggled with stairs, so it's frustrating to see that a supposedly upscale hotel is unable to meet basic quality requirements. Ease of use and accessibility trump pretty floors and high ceilings any day.

Tried phoning the hotel regarding my upcoming reservation. Impossible. Circular messaging cycles you back over and over again. No human available. Amazing! The GM should call the published number sometime and share the pain then make changes.

The front desk staff is pleasant and the only thing special about this Hyatt Regency is the room key works on the elevator.
I've stayed at a few Hyatt Regency Hotels and the rooms were beautiful.
My room at this Hyatt Regency - New Orleans is very ordinary. The room is tiny, the layout is uncomfortable, and unlike any other Hyatt Regency, I am not okay hanging out in the room.
I have only been here one day and haven't found the pool, so I cannot speak on it. If anything changes, I will update the post.

Pros - rooms are clean, front desk staff, lots of restaurants on site.
Cons - very ordinary rooms/bathroom that make you feel like you're in a 2 star hotel with no space to move around.

Valet service is a great plus in downtown New Orleans and the valets here are fast and efficient. Very helpful front desk staff. Nice guest rooms and very clean. Excellent experience all around and I would highly recommend to others.

Hotel is very nice. Staff is very friendly. I did experience a mishap with the bell service in the lobby/front but the management took care of us right away. Hotel is conveniently located and there are plenty of things to do in the area.

I travel a couple hundred days a year, and this is one of my favorite Hyatts to stay in. Friendly staff, excellent dining options, clean and quiet rooms, and super comfortable beds. (Also, Vitascope has some of the best sushi in the city)

Great conference facility. Wayfinding not bad for such an expansive place. All staff were excellent. (Hint: Great eats around the hotel. I recommend not standing in line for Starbucks at the hotel.)

Nice place... But it you are staying on the side with the dome... Don't expect to sleep.... Outside concerts... Make your mattress vibrant and you can listen to anything in your room... They give you ear plugs... Does not help...

This hotel cannot handle large events. We waited over 30 mins for 601 room service to tell us there is a two and half hour wait for food. That is unacceptable. The elevators cannot handle large groups of people. I will never stay in this hotel again. I will avoid the Hyatt brand at all costs.

Amazing and huge hotel. Reason for less stars is the staff were actually kind of rude and one of them gave our cab away because we were asking another couple if they were in line first. Not sure if I would stay at this location again but I do love the hyatt hotels.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were great. They had a boil water order in the parish the last two days I was there and they kept everyone notified and gave us plenty of bottled water. It s close enough to the quarter that you can easily walk to everything there. It s about a mile from the Laffite Greenway if you like running or walking.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Very spacious, numerous restaurants on site, almost everything you need is in walking distance. Short distance from French Quarter. The downside for me was Hotel parking is $40 a day.

Concierge and room service was hard to get a hold off..The room was clean, housekeeping a little stingy on clean towels amd soap! I don't think I eill BBQ booking at this hotel again...

The layout was very confusing with eacalatirs and elevators only going to certain floors. There were no water stations anywhere which was frustrating as my conference did not provide any water. The hotel was nice and had a nice couple bars and restaurants. There was a Starbucks inside but the selection was limited.
