Good location, wonderful staff, superior restaurants, and elevator system like nothing I've ever experienced. Your key takes you specific floor, no buttons inside elevator. Would definitely stay there again.

The Hyatt Regency has all the features you'd expect from an upscale modern hotel, friendly staff, an adequate fitness center, a nice heated pool and outdoor bar, and tons of conference rooms. It's a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter, and there is enough nightlife within a block or two of the hotel to keep you entertained if you don't feel like walking or taking an Uber.

Hyatt Regency New Orleans is a beautiful property with an ideal location for anything you want to do in the City. Across the street from the Superdome and Smoothie King Center, few blocks from Bourbon. Definitely recommend.

2nd time staying here for a conference. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Service is great. Room service had a reasonable wait. Food is the only issue I have had both times. Not bad...just not what one would expect. I would expect PROPER Louisiana gumbo and red beans and rice from a hotel in New Orleans. Granted those were ordered from the InRoomDining menu. Main restaurant was ok. Good variety. The inhouse Seafood restaurant seems good. Will try there tonight.

Very big. Very clean. Only bad thing I can say is it is at least a mile from the front desk to the rooms and the elevator system sucks. Other than that everything about this hotel is above-average.

I loved the place is very large perfect for meetings or events of great magnitude very clean people very attentive and helpful decoration very beautiful the very cozy atmosphere sure I will return to stay in one of the best rooms next time.

Beautiful building and the food/drinks are good - most service is just really terrible (having to ask 4 times for water at breakfast, housekeeping leaving my colleague's door open/unlocked all day, incorrect room service deliveries, trying to clean our room at 8am Saturday/checkout day, 4 shampoos no conditioner or soap in the bathroom). Just a weird experience, but the space is lovely!

I wasn't here as a overnight guest. Just stopped in to see a friend that was staying here. But right from the beginning the staff was friendly and the building itself was beautiful. If I ever make it back to New Orleans I'd definitely give this place a shot.

This ultra-modern hotel is just a fantastic place to stay. They have multiple restaurants serving everything from burgers to sushi to barbecue, including a pizza place that delivers to your room, a fully stocked convenience store, and all of it incredibly well priced for a hotel. The breakfast buffet at 8 Block is absolutely astoundingly good. Possibly the best breakfast buffet I've ever seen anywhere. The rooms are comfortable, if not too large, and are nicely decorated with good views. The convention space is huge and gorgeous. If you don't use the valet option, parking could give you a headache, but I'm not deducting for that because that is absolutely ever New Orleans hotel. It's my new favorite place to stay.

All their staff was super attentive and friendly. The room accomodations were excellent. The hotel is huge and beautiful, and had many things to offer their guests. It is near the French Quarter and many other places you can visit, eat and shop.

The bad: Hotel has a confusing layout with no entry/exit on the south side of the hotel in the vicinity of the Elite Ballroom. My hotel room had a broken wall outlet above the nightstand where I would normally plug in a cell phone at night. Shower would not divert from the shower head to faucet. Elevators will only allow you to go to the floor of your room assignment (no meeting friends at their room if they are on a different floor).
The good: Beds are surprisingly comfortable and the room thermostat works well.

Hyatt hires criminals for the valet service . I had my vehicle broken into while it was valeted . Stole $700 dollars worth of property. I couldn't believe that this would happen at a Hyatt. The management couldn't resolve the issue did not bother to follow up with me after the initial report . I will never be staying Here ever again.

We were lucky enough to get a room at a low rate. The restaurants are decadent, the views of New Orleans were amazing, and the room itself was top notch! Wonderful staff who greeted you with a smile. Tram service literally right down the block to the French quarter. A must-stay!

Amazing place to stay for a few days. Was a little chilly even though the pool is heated so didn't go. But wish i did now. The elevators are really cool. Swipe the card and it tells you what elevator to use. The rooms are really nice and the bed is a dream. Enjoy.

But we really enjoyed our stay. The service was excellent way better than the Hilton's where we stayed last year for mechacon. Parking for the hotel was excellent as well. Even the high-tech elevators wowed me. It blew my damn mind and even that didn't stop the Hyatt staff from cleaning that brain matter up!!!

I love this hotel. It's prime location. 5min uber/Lyft ride. 10 -15 min walk. It's close to Bourbon and Frenchman's Street. It has over 30 floors! Pool, fitness center, nice restaurants and friendly staff! Yay! I had a room to myself with a king bed. It looked out onto the famous stadium (blanking on the name). Coffee maker with complementary Starbucks coffee, blow dryer, lotion, shampoo, conditioner. But what I really was impressed with was the extras. They had a dental kit just in case you left your toothbrush at home, cotton balls, shower cap, lint remover, provide laundry service. There's so much more to say, but this would be 10x longer. Just do it! Book a room. Highly recommend! :)

Stayed here during 4th July hols. In our booking, requested for king size bed but was not given. Then was verbally compensated for breakfast. Somehow during check out breakfast was billed in.. Lucky we check the bill before we leave.. I didn't know hotel of this level could do such mistake and require customer to highlight it.. . Also not all staff are friendly.

Could not believe the fantastic service at Hyatt Regency New Orleans. Went there for the Rolling stones concert. Of course Hyatt was so busy that we waited in line from the street. Checkin had a short line but that was expected. Rather quick though. While taking us to our room, the bell boy asked if I needed ice for my cooler. Never before was I asked that question! Could not believe the view of Mercedes Benz Saints stadium from our room. See image posted with this review. Ordered room service which was tasty, healthy high quality food. We are Hyatt club members so of course we'll stay here again. Oh, yeah, they didn't charge extra for my pick up truck.

Be prepared to get your exercise in if they put you in the north wing, it's quite a hike just to get to the elevators. Also, the convenience store is exceptionally expensive. A hot sandwich, 20 oz beverage, and bag of chips was over $20.

Experience is typically good; however, I recently used the Hyatt parking garage to park for a nearby sporting event and all garbage cans in the garage were overflowing with trash. It looked like they hadn't been emptied in days. It was gross.

Visually appealing and friendly service. But the energy efficient appliances don't make it any better. Better bring a cooler if you want to have something cold. There was no microwave in our room. The buffet was very good and had friendly service too. The view from our room was very nice.

The Hyatt is very clean. The staff are very knowledgeable and are always ready to help you if you have any questions or need anything. The only thing I disliked was how you needed to go up 2 escalators to the 3rd floor to get to the elevators.
