It's a wonderful place to bring a family and enjoy your day there's a lots to do around the hotel if it's bad weather but there's a dumb effect and that is they should have charging stations at all over the hotel like most hotels have charging places where you can charge your phone up

This is a very nice hotel I would highly recommend it if you're staying in the New Orleans area. Rooms are clean and updated on those plenty Food and drink in the area and walking distance.

Biggest gripe is that they conveniently always overbook when reservations are done months in advance. I give them 4 stars for ensuring we were taken care of while they find us a room and they comped our breakfast for the whole weekend and gave us a better rate on the room especially seeing how we couldn't get the room we reserved.

For conferences, the floor plan is very confusing and difficult to navigate. The staff positioned to answer questions and help you find the right staircase were great. The property itself is very nice, but a bit of a walk to local attractions.

We went for the white coat ceremony for Tulane med school. The place was really nice. It made me understand I'm a pleb. The lady sitting next to us at the event was very mean to my brother. It's unrelated to the hotel but it was still a traumatic experience I needed to share.

This hotel is amazing! The service is incredible here. Everyone from the valet to the front desk. They have gone above and beyond for our stay. Explaining the valet pricing and safety to letting is check in early. I would highly recommend this place for any visit to New Orleans. I will certainly be back!

This place was awesome! From the pleasant reception to the high tech elevator situation to the large, clean room with a cool view of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. I attended the NOBLE national conference and this was a great place to hold this grand event. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at all three of the restaurants and it honestly wasn't too pricey. The hotel is within walking distance to the Riverwalk mall, Bourbon street, and lots of other restaurants. The conference rooms were very nice and clean also. Finally I slept great every night due to the quiet and the comfort of my bed. Overall excellent experience and I'll recommend it to others.

Do NOT expect to sleep well or be rested the next day.

The staff is exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. However, the in room HVAC is very noisy. Early Tuesday and Friday mornings (3:45 AM) the dumpsters are emptied with VERY loud metal banging, and lasts for about 10 minutes. Do not expect to get a quality night's sleep or be well rested the next day. Additionally, sirens throughout the night outside are common and easily heard through the night. All this from the 18th floor.

Went to a fundraising event at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The lobby is spacious and floorplan well thought out. Escalator to meeting rooms. Handicapped bathrooms. Very good sound system from musicians and PA system. The food served at dinner was excellent and bartenders were very good.

Great hotel with amazing use of technology for elevators and in rooms. Out from most of the hustle of the French quarter but still walking distance to everything. If you're feeling lazy, there's an abundance of restaurants and bars in the hotel so you'll never have to walk far for anything. Park in the garage around the corner to save money on the hefty valet fee!

Great!

Big, excellent location, hotel has restricted access elevator system. The hotel is safe and relatively quiet. However, don't let your guard down and be an easy target. New Orleans has some of the highest crime and most dangerous criminals in the country. Use extreme caution after dark.

I did not stay in the hotel directly, but in the attached Hyatt House, and attended a conference/trade show in the Regency. It was minimal travel indoors to get to the facilities, which are gorgeous and flexible. Nothing is very far; the FedEx office is conveniently located, as is the Starbucks, and the exhibit rooms and halls are all no more than 2-3 minutes walk from each other. There are also a few options to choose from for food and drink beyond Starbucks, with good food. The only complaints I have are with getting around the facilities. It feels very much like a maze the first few times until you get your bearings, and even then, the escalators aren't exactly intuitive (and are sometimes blocked off in certain directions), and the elevator controls, while designed to be helpful, are highly confusing and seem to always complicate the process. On more than one occasion it took me to a floor short or past where I wanted to go, and I had no choice but to wait for another elevator to try again, given no floor selector inside. Once, it took me in the wrong direction. I understand now why this happened, and it makes sense that it wasn't a malfunction, but for someone used to typical elevator controls, even tech-savvy, the first few uses were problematic and highly frustrating. I recommend the Regency for exhibiting, but I'd much rather stay in the Hyatt House a few minutes further walk than deal with the elevators to get to a room upstairs.

The hotel just wasn t worth the price we paid. The service we experienced was what you d expect from a $50 motel, not a hotel who s rates get dangerously close to $200 for the basic rooms. With their price, you still have to pay extra for WiFi and parking. There s a tiny fridge and no microwave. I believe you could rent one, but you shouldn t have to with what you get charged initially. On the plus side, the room was clean and comfy.

If you want to stay in New Orleans. This hotel is in New Orleans. That is about the only good thing. I will never stay here again. Understaffed. Slow service. Pricey food and drinks. The worst is the elevators. If it is busy at all, don't expect to get anywhere quickly. If you left something in your room, expect it to take at least 20 minutes to get it. I waited over 15 minutes to get an elevator down in the morning. I ended up walking down the 15 flights. I also walked back up later. Definitely do not stay here for a Saints game.

I was here for a 1000 person function in one of the ballrooms. They only had two bartenders! I never saw a sense of urgency from any of the employees.

1.) Very convenient location (walking distance to Bourbon Street) 2.) Lots of restaurants, shops and other things to do in or within 500 feet of the hotel 3.) Hotel makes a great first impression with a beautiful lobby, but the rooms don't live up to the hype it builds.

.the only reason I don't give 5 stars
because of parking.
parking lot next to hotel is being used by contractors and you only choice is valet parking ( BTW service was excellent ) but.....is $40.00
food in the hotel is expensive but good.
you can go outside and have dinner for less but nowhere to park if you are lucky add $25.00 to the meal.

Great conference hotel in a convenient location. The rooms are nicely furnished and the TVs have a Chromecast (though few devices connect to it properly). The hotel gym has many cardio and weight-lifting machines and a wide range of free weights.

We had a wonderful stay after an initiate mixup concerning our length of stay. The manager who I only know as Dan went out of his way to make things right. I could not believe how he bent over backwards and reponded to our dilemma. I have have never been so well treated at a hotel.

Beautiful hotel. I was attending a conference for the weekend (3/10-3/12) and it was a wonderful experience. There were other conferences by larger organizations going on at the same time so some of our requests with rooms and service were lacking in comparison to what the hotel had going on that weekend. The rooms were nice. They weren't above average or anything so I think they are over priced. But I did enjoy the different eateries available inside the Hyatt.

We came here for a wedding and loved our time here. The food, service, and overall experience. The staff here were so helpful in guiding throughout the city.

I can definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The worst hotel and hotel service I've ever encountered! When I moved in, the guest room has NOT been cleaned AT ALL! There are left overs food on desk and bed from the previous guest! No cups for coffee machine to brew tea, obviously lacks some towels in the bathroom! I called the front desk twice, and went to front desk to talk in person later on. Hilariously, they refused to switch me to a clean room, instead, asking me to wait in the guest room for the hotel service to come to clean the room! I traveled all day long and now has to sit in my room to wait it get cleaned??
If there is zero score I can choose, I would not hesitate to give score zero. Now I can only give score 1, which is the lowest score I can give!
40 minutes later the supervisor of the house keeping came in, she was surprised to see the room hasn't been cleaned at all. She took picture of the room, and called the front desk to switch me to another room. Then, the front desk finally called and agreed to switch me into another room which suppose to be already cleaned. :-( I am doing a business travel not a personal vacation here at New Orleans, and I need to continue work tonight, just not sitting there or go out to have several cups of wines and then come back to check whether the house keeper finish clean the room or not.
1 hour later, finally, someone came and gave me the pass for a new guest room. I am wondering where is the manager of this hotel, as I asked that person is there a manager that I can talk with, he seems reluctantly answer that question directly. I told him that I already provided the lowest score I can gave in google, and I am going to do the same thing in trip advisor too. As in the check in package I saw the hotel gave me a card saying that if I " enjoy my stay" here, I am welcomed to perform review in google and trip advisor. Well, sure I am doing that ..

Your elevator system is the worse!!! However, your hotel and staff were simply AMAZING. Mark and Mike---the two bell-men were exceptional and very friendly; helpful too. Dusan----I can't find the words to express my gratitude for this young man. You all have a gem!!! Very professional, kind, helpful and friendly. Those three men made my stay here worthwhile!
Thanks!
