Clean rooms and friendly staff. The elevators are different, but nothing too complicated. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a stay in New Orleans

Nicest, most glamorous, grandest & largest hotel I've Ever been to! If there were more stars to add I'd definitely give them
Nice 5 star hotel, everyone is polite and always eager to help and it's near Boubon...what more can I say...
Loved it! There for a conference. Convenient in the hotel/convention facility and out.
Attending Mechacon, very impressive hotel but a tad bit maze like in its layout, overall highly recommended
The hotel is massive and has a great elevator algorithm. The room was clean and comfortable. The view was alright. It's about a fifteen minute walk to French quarter. This place is good for visiting restaurants in the CBD/warehouse district.
Nice place, would stay there again if in the area. Great rooms, great selection of eats and drinks...
Friendly, helpful service! Beautiful rooms and great ambiance.
This place is breathtaking! The people are wonderful!
My wife and I were in town for a conference and we had an excellent experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The wide variety of restaurants in the building meant that we never had to go far to find great food. The room was comfortable and the amenities were of good quality. Great WiFi, even the basic (free) was fine for streaming HD video. It's got everything you need for business or pleasure. Very convenient parking with available valet.
Very clean ... very professional ... will definitely stay again
Awesome location! Great hotel just needed help finding my way around . Got lost on the multiple levels and elevators and escalators. Finding the parking garage connector was also an issue. Aside from getting lost it was awesome!
This place was very nice I highly recommend this place in New Orleans everyone was was very nice
Room was beautiful. So close to everything in the city.
The hotel was very nice. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. Everything was very clean.
Had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt regency in New Orleans CBD
It's much bigger then expected. Would've loved a discount on the valet and some breakfast included. But over all, we had a beautiful room with a great view and a comfortable bed. It was perfect for a one night stay. The hotel itself has beautiful views of the city. And it's interior architecture is very cool. Definitely will be back.
Decent sized room, nice bathroom, beds are slightly uncomfortable. Easy to get lost in
My son and nephew stayed for only one night before heading out on their cruise to Mexico. They felt like kings in the room that they had. Not far from the French Quarter, restaurants and the nightlife.
Attended a convention over the weekend and enjoyed our time. Spacious event space, lots of room in the lobby, etc. Only issues were traffic and parking issues caused by a marathon one day and a Saints game on the other, but those are not the fault of the hotel. Dining options were good, but I think they were not prepared for all the kids looking for chicken nuggets and cheese pizza, perhaps not something they see often.
Very nice, professional staff, parking garages are a bit confusing.
Beautiful hotel. Excellent customer service. Comfortable beds. Star bucks coffee in room.
While the hotel looks cool, it's a nightmare to navigate.
Great service and staff, nice clean room and convenient location.
I had stayed at this place for the Essance Festival and our room had bed bugs!!!
Very enjoyable stay with Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The quality of room, bed, sleep and environment are superb and comfy, the lobby is grandeur and concierge, bellmen and receptionists are very friendly, helpful and cute ;-). The hotel is also shown in the movie "Girls Trip", which is one of my favourite comedy films. I love this hotel, definitely will stay again once I come back to New Orleans for fun.
Great free elevator ride to 32nd floor health club.
FABULOUS REGENCY CLUB - CONVENIENTLY LOCATED TO SAINTS & PELICANS GAMES! Beautiful Hotel - Wonderful Front Desk and Helpful Concierge - Small and Cramped Room with Dated Furnishings - Great Views - 24/7 Exercise Room - Long waits for Valet and Bell-person s Services - A pleasant 3-nights stay!
Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Great food, amazing view and luxurious!
Worst experience ever! I booked my room a week ahead, got here check in, was told no room, and have to move me to Hyatt house. Got Hyatt house, told me need to make my reversion, because I booked at Regency! I had an important appointment early next morning, and had to wait long time to take a rest. Please, pay attention to your management!
Very clean place, kept neat, clean and organized. Staff is friendly
GORGEOUS PLACE THE FOOD AT THE THREE RESTAURANTS ON SITE WERE TO LIVE FOR WE ENJOYED NOLA TO THE FULLEST
Everything we are in the area of this hotel and happen to want a coffee we go to the Hyatt Regency to order from the swanky Starbucks inside. We have stayed at the hotel for our wedding as well so my experiences here are all pleasant. The staff are also courteous.
Amazing Hotel with amazing view and Good restaurants (good Gumbo dish) but Limited parking .
Great place to catch the Saints game! Good food, drinks and atmosphere!
The staff at the stores and everywhere so far a very helpful, and accommodating.
Pretty good service, I was pleased. The drinks were good and overall very timely in delivery. Borgne has the best pepper jelly based fried chicken I've had.
Hotel is beautiful. Location is perfect for professional sporting events. Across the street from all stadiums.
The location was very nice, inside the hotel was clean and beautiful. Great layout, room was clean, service professional and friendly.
Great accommodations! Staff were extremely helpful!
Very nice facility. Myriad conference and meetimg rooms capable of handling events of all sizes.
A bit of a crazy layout to get to rooms but staff were very attentive & helpful.
Quiet..away from hub-bub of Bourbon Street . Good restaurants nearby.
Nice facilities, friendly staff. WAAAY too overpriced on everything, and you will be charged a la carte for anything more than your room key. Running a meeting here, and we are charged for every power drop, even have to hire an operator for the freight elevator. #hotelgreed
Nice stay with great amenities! Very clean hotel and in a good location.
The service was outstanding however explanations on how to utilize certain items would be beneficial. Very high tech Hotel
Went for an event for my sorority and we had a blast. It was a brunch thing going on. Enjoyed ot the food OMG so damn good! Mimosas kept coming. My sorors knows how to have fun! Great place to have your event.
Very good service, comfortable beds. The hotel is very well located, 10 minutes walk from the French Quarter.
Great drinks, not the most reasonable prices but to be expected. Good ambience
Big rooms, celebrities staying here. Service was great. Very technology forward.
Room was not clean. I stayed there with my 10 months old baby. He crawls and puts everything he can grab in his mouth. He found a tablet on the carpet and immediately put it in his mouth. By the time I could take it out it he had had half of it. God only know what that tablet was. Totally unacceptable. Then he crawled and slit his finger with something sharp on the floor. How hard is it to vacuum the floor I ask? Also the carpet was horrible horrible. It was bleeding color. The carpet was black so were our soles and my crawler's knees and feet.
Food was ok. We ordered sweet potato fries among other stuff and it was so stale we left all of it as if. Rest of the food was just ok.
In house restaurant always has a waiting time of an hour or so be it breakfast or dinner.
Do not go here. Do not waste your money. Long weekends are a BIG NO.
Fantastic organization of the MechaCon event, friendly and helpful staff, and great decor.
Let me start off by saying that I ve never written a review before for a hotel. With that being said, I feel compelled to write this review on behalf of the horrible and unprofessional experience I had at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans. I arrived with a large group of over 100 students, and we had made the reservations 10 months prior. We were told to check in between 2 and 3 pm. As I write this review at 5:53 pm, I have been sitting on the floor of the conference room for the past 4 hours. No employee has been able to offer us any help in fact, they ve remained outside of this room and won t even confront the hundreds of adults whose plans they have ruined. We have a limited amount of time in this city before we return to Florida, and have paid a hefty amount of money for this road trip to even be possible. It is completely unacceptable that we have been treated like this with no answers. With reservations set almost a year in advance, there is NO excuse for a 3 hour wait while hotel rooms are STILL being put together. I really have no words for my disappointment in this hotel and will absolutely be reaching out to a representative of this company for answers and consolation. If you have time sensitive plans and need to be checked into your hotel within 4 hours, you may want to look elsewhere.
Clean rooms, great service, parking is a hassle to deal with everyday but after the 3rd day here in NOLA for a conference, we got a free parking voucher. Spanish speaking employees are very friendly and have a great attitude. The stayfit center is open 24hr it's a pretty good shindig, great view of the city, nice equipment but missing a bench press, squat rack, but it's clear the hotel did their the best for the limited amount of space that's available.
Great place and top notch service. The place is like a maze though.
What a huge place. I felt I walked in circles when I followed the event signs. Discovered only on my last day that the elevators have an RFID card reader so you don t have to always type in your floor number. The location is excellent.
It is a beautiful, high class hotel with really attentive staff. Getting around the hotel is confusing. The escalators only go from 1-3, the elevators are assigned when you enter the floor number and take a very long time. The light on the small makeup mirror in my room did not work and I wish there were more lights in the room itself. The closet was also smaller than usual.
I've stayed at the Hyatt several times. It backs up to the Dome, making it convenient for events there. It's also on a streetcar line, so getting around the city is both convenient and fun.
First, the atrium is HUGE. I mean dizzyingly huge. With massive glass windows overlooking the city and Superdome. The rooms have always been comfortable with great views. There's a small pool and pool deck, and a state of the art gym. The concierge level is OK. Call me crazy for saying this in New Orleans of all places, but the Hyatt makes a pretty fantastic gumbo. If you have concierge privileges, go up there in the evening and get a bowl (or two).
Some people think operating the elevators is equivalent to solving a Rubik's cube. It's not hard folks. Tap your key for your room's floor. Or select any floor on the touch screen. And go to the specific elevator you are INSTRUCTED TO GO TO. All eight elevators are labeled, A thru H. No, they are not all going to your floor. Only the one the touchscreen told you to go to, will be going to your floor.
Came here for drinks and oysters. Oysters were some of the best I had while in New Orleans. I also really enjoyed their velvet mule drink. Really cool columns filled with oyster shell also caught my eye, a lesson in not forgetting to check your surroundings for interesting details.
Attending conference, staying at hotel. It has a very "Las vegas" feel with lots of restaurants, bars, and meeting spaces. Very nice, clean, food is a little expensive but not outside of what you would expect in a hotel like this.
I stayed at the hyatt house section of the hotel. Room was very nice. House keeping quiet and professional. Breakfast was alright, nothing special. There is a lot of walking to reach hyatt house from the parking garage.
