Hyatt Regency Knoxville Review

Love this place. Stay here every time I go to Tennessee Theater, which is 3 or 4 times a year. Rooftop bar is a nice addition, but the drinks are a bit expensive. Close to many restaurants that stay open late. Also, there's 24 hr. room service.

Very nice rooms, fantastic rooftop bar, and exceptional staff.

Beautiful location and good drinks. From atop the roof, you can see a large part of the city and the constant breeze keeps the space comfortable.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the rooftop bar!!! And the inside bar is awesome as well with wonderful bartenders!

Really enjoyed my stay. A very nice Hyatt. No to mention great location. The shoulder bacon was amazing for breakfast.

Nice but not worth what they charge . I have stayed at a lot nicer place for a lot less. The staff where a little less than pleasant.

Beautiful facility with great staff, right in downtown Knoxville. If you don't walk around town a bit and check out Market Square, you're missing a treat.

This new hotel is gorgeous! It has been restored and the stairway leads up to one of the most beautiful pieces of artwork that I've ever seen! Of course I took a picture of it! The furnishings are elegant and modern, but the atmosphere is nostalgic.

Beautiful hotel. Service was impeccable. The downstairs bar is great. The bartender was phenomenal and the cocktails were the best I ve ever had. Highly recommend!!

Very nice hotel and location. I paid for the stay with 8k Hyatt points ($80 worth) and got free valet parking! Pretty amazing deal if you ask me.

Great place, great staff. Came in from Maryland for a Gymnastic event at the convention center. They have done a wonderful job renovating.

Great location with short walk to Market Square. Friendly staff and well appointed rooms.

Room was clean and modern, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable king bed, and large shower. Free breakfast was great, much more than a typical continental spread (cage free eggs, potatoes, sides, etc.). Starbucks in lobby was busy but the provided good service. Rooftop bar was a neat atmosphere with clear views, but opt for the hi-top tables instead of the soft couches (humidity in summer/fall can make them feel damp). Overall a very nice stay.

Love this hotel! Major perk is their roof top bar! It s incredible and such an amazing location to relax and enjoy the sunset! Incredible drinks and food!

Enjoyed Hyatt Knoxville theme pictures great. Super hot out side air unit above bed supper loud. No sleep good.

Excellent service provided by the staff and excellent breakfast served as well. The money spent was well worth it. Thanks and I look forward to staying there again

The good: Centrally located, valet parking, comfortable rooms, accommodating staff. The not-so-good: WiFi is shaky, the stairwell doors slam hard and loud, and the quality of housekeeping varied a lot over 4 days.

Located next to the Tennessee theater, we used their valet parking and stayed over for New year's Eve, they seemed glad to have us, the room was better than I am used to. WiFi worked well and was easy to connect to, they told us they had just opened after Christmas so everything was still new. We asked for some extra glasses and they arrived promptly. I'd recommend it.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are wonderful, the staff is great and the breakfast is out of this world. I look forward to staying with them again

Visited the rooftop bar. Amazing big-city experience. The manager Dylan, our server Lindsey, and the rest of the bar staff were amazing. Great atmosphere, great drinks, will be back soon!

Loved it here. Great rooftop bar. Spacious rooms with King size bed and a very large L couch. The breakfast was good and it's free. The host and hostess were nice and helpful. There's a Starbucks in the lobby. The gym is spacious.

The views from the rooftop of the mountains are unbeatable.

Great roof top bar. So so breakfast. But exceptional service and within walking distance of everywhere we went.

My wife and Both enjoyed are stay here. The front desk was super friendly and our room was nice and clean. They have a Starbucks right in the lobby when you walk in which is convenient. It was also really cool where the Hyatt is located, You walk outside and you are right near market square and in the middle of gay street.

The wife and I arrived around 9:30pm and was met properly by the valet staff who were very patient with us as we retrieved our bags from the car and helped us load up the baggage cart. The concierge greeted us with smiles and welcomed us to the hotel. Check-in was simple and quick and we were escorted to the elevator while being given info on the hotel and it's services. Upon arriving to our room we were pleased that there was more than enough room to bring the luggage cart in with us to offload it. The room appeared very clean and was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and we had no problems getting to sleep. The included breakfast was tasty and was very well maintained as we arrived toward the end of service. Check out was as easy as check in as well as retrieving our car from the valet which pulled up as soon as we finished checking out. And again the valet staff was helpful in helping us load our car back up with our baggage.

We absolutely loved our stay here and the staff was beyond amazing. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and we came back to a beautiful note with all the employees signatures on it and delectable dessert waiting for us in our room. The hotel was clean and very stylishly up to date. The location was close to everything and the shops and restaurants in walking distance were yummy. It's a location filled with history and nightlife. When we travel from here out we will always stay at Hyatt!

Great hotel, friendly staff, great location in downtown Knoxville.

This Hyatt place has class and unique style. The staff is amazing and helpful. Not to mention all of the high quality rooms and amenities you expect with a Hyatt.

The best Downtown Knoxville Hotel. Walking distance to tons of options. New Build, on y months old and a great price with some serious complimentary breakfast. Amazing.

Great Hyatt the center of downtown Knoxville. Staff is very courteous and helpful.

It is located in the Main shopping Street of the downtown, and only a block away from market where caffee and bar concentrated. The hotel lobby looks very nice, and it has a rooftop bar although it is super crowded in weekend. My upgraded Conner room is spacious and comfortable although noise from street is unavoidable in downtown location. The staff is mostly nice but one young man rudely insist to see my room key last night before I enter into the elevator. I am retired professor, in my 60s, and properly dressed, ,,

I read many hotel reviews but rarely write them. However, had to brag on the Hyatt Place downtown for exceptional service. First, the location can t be beat. Steps from entertainment, restaurants and local watering holes. The lobby was far nicer than I expected and the valet was efficient and convenient. Rooms were a bit sterile but spacious, modern and clean.

The staff and management truly distinguished themselves upon check in. I had made a reservation the night before, in the car, on my phone. Turns out it was for the wrong night ... and was non-refundable. Management not only found us a room, they also honored the rate and waived the no-show fee. Thank you Hyatt Place! We will certainly be back and will recommend to others.

we was stay on July there. Beautiful room and very clean. Nice view from roof top bar. When we arrived, our receptionist asked if we celebration special occasion. We told, that we come for dinner cruise to celebrate our 10th anniversary. When evening we come back in hotel, we find dessert for us in our room!

Beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely rooftop bar (very limited food menu - mostly chips and check mix). The view is amazing though. The rooms are well appointed and the decor is tasteful.

Very clean and comfortable room with extremely friendly staff, especially at the breakfast. Missed out on making it up to the rooftop, but will try to make it back!

Beautiful hotel and awesome staff. They really go the extra mile to make you welcome. Check out their art collection by local artists! (Yes, I'm a bit biased as they have a number of my paintings there.) However, they have many other artist's works as well and it's an absolutely fantastic collection. They will give you a tour of art if you ask!

Best place ever. It was like a vacation from Knoxville.

My husband and I stayed in the Hyatt Knoxville in August and had a lovely time. When we returned, he urged me to stay in the same hotel because he liked it so much. Well, we just checked in and we are quite disappointed. We paid for a king sized room so we could have the same type as last time. Unfortunately, what we got was a small king according to the front desk; it does not even have the plush comforter we had in August. We also did not get a microwave or the updated showers. Still, we paid more this time around. We also were told that the complimentary breakfast was no longer complimentary and if we wanted water, we could purchase bottled water at the small convenience store. I m not sure what happened in these short months, but it isn t a good sign. Needless to say, I am disappointed and next time we ll choose to branch out.

We stayed two nights at this hotel and wish we could ve stayed more. We drove straight from Michigan and arrived around 8am. They allowed us early check in and we brought our stuff to our room and slept. We headed down at 10:15am for the breakfast thinking it went till 10:30 only to find out it closed at 10. Once the staff understood our mistake, they quickly heated some of the leftovers and brought out eggs, pancakes, sausage, fruit, toast, milk, juice, and water. They made sure we had enough and were prepared for the day ahead. And speaking of their free breakfast, it is delicious! We highly recommend this Hyatt located in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee.

Great hotel with exceptional customer service! We will definitely be back the next time we are here to visit. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a great place to stay, only one block from market square.

I booked 3 weeks in advance. I get to the hotel and they gave my reservation away. Then after they explained to me that they didn t have a room for me, 20 people walk in and check in. I ve never had such a bad experience with a htoel. Who takes a reservation then when you arrive tell, oops, we have no rooms left. Miserable.

I was forced to cancel my trip to Knoxville due to the COVID pandemic and state quarantine orders in my home state. Hyatt Place Knoxville would not refund the over $400 I had paid toward my reservation. I will never patronize this hotel again.

The staff in this hotel went above and beyond my expectations. The manager, Trenton, and concierge, Emily, were both exceptional in the way they made us feel welcome and did everything they could to accommodate our truck and 22' trailer. They made me feel like a VIP, and have left a very positive memory of Knoxville, TN. Truly, even though our room had a great view, was beautifully sunlit, and was clean and quiet....the thing I will remember most is the way we were treated. A huge thank you to this hotel and its staff.

The staff that greeted us inside the hotel was super friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is gorgeous and has wonderful views. The drinks were great. I do think they may have been a little understaffed due to it being graduation week for the local U as it did take quite some time to get our drinks after ordering. Overall great experience. Loved the live band!

Not your average Hyatt Place. Really great space and rooms better than expected although breakfast was standard Hyatt Place fare.

Centrally located in the downtown area with a rooftop patio and bar. The brunch food is excellent and the staff are top notch!

Nice hotel with great location. Clean rooms and comfortable beds and a friendly staff.

Friendly quick check in...room was very clean and smelled of fresh flowers, king sized suite with plenty of room, bath was large as well. Fridge, coffee, tea in room. Good selection of free breakfast, bar on site and 24 hour food available. Classy hip decor in the lobby area, maid service was quick. The big shower is a bonus, the bed slept great...big fluffy feather pillows and comforter. Would stay here again.

Trying too hard to be a big city hotel. Location is sweet but a little pretentious.
