Nice long stay at the Hyatt in Greenwich. I ate often in the atrium restaurant with the gazebo downstairs and the service was fantastic. The server Krissy was the best - so personable and warm and lovely. Plus when she was on bar duty , she made the coolest drinks - very creative. People like her make me keep coming back to Hyatts

Room was overlooking the interior patio which is very nice. We had dinner at the cafe in the interior patio and it took forever to get our food. Ordered some shrimp as appetizer and salmon for main dish. Both were oveecoocked. My husband asked for a glass of wince with his red meat which was never served to him. The breakfast is tasteless and bland and way too expensive for what they offered at the buffet. Our bed with ok but the sheets had a hole on them. It caught my attention that the edges were the wall and the carpet meet where way too dirty. The staff was nice

It is currently 11:15 p.m. We got here about 15 minutes ago because we are heading home several states away, but we re too tired to finish the trip tonight. When we got in our room there was a pack n play for a baby...we did not request this, nor do we have a baby with us. That was odd, but what was even more strange was that there were no blankets on our bed, just sheets. My SO called down to the front desk and they told us they would have someone bring one up. He asked if they had a time estimate as to when someone would bring one (we are both pretty tired) and the gentleman responded, I ll do my best. What? Anyway, don t stay here unless you re a very deep sleeper. The walls are paper thin...you can hear anyone in the hallway, outside or in the adjacent room.

Interesting what Americans call luxury hotels. The food is good, the rooms are big, nice and clean. The service is good. The lobby is basically a garden with palm trees and shrubs and a small stream. Disturbing here are the birds the one in the breakfast ....

There were numerous large groups or conventions there. These make money for the hotel but the hotel guests weren't protected from them. There was a prom and a bar mitzva one night. The parking was almost completely taken. I was lucky but normally you'd have to walk from the far end of the lot. They could have had reserved some parking for guests. Unlike the info in the hotel directory the restaurant was closed due to the Democratic Governors' (I think governors) convention. I was also told it wasn't open every day, despite info in the directory. The food that was available was mediocre at best. Call ahead to avoid conventions and other such mass gatherings. The rooms were nice. I recommend you try to get a room near the elevators since the building is very spread out.

Very loud hallways. We rented best room in hotel and heard a baby crying all night. Sent 900 for a Presidential Suite. They booked the anointing rooms next to us no privacy at all this place is falling down the drain.

The only place my family likes to stay when we visit relatives in Westchester. The atrium is a beautiful, relaxing place to sit and grab a drink or pull out the laptop and do some work. The rooms are always immaculate, and the staff friendly and helpful. Wish I could give this 6 stars.

This is an exceptional hotel. The building, rooms, restaurants are all beautiful and extremely well maintained. But what sets this hotel apart is the management and staff. It's hard to believe the level of personal service that is part of everything they do. I have two young children and a we have stayed here many times over the years. They remember our names, and we have built personal friendships with many of the staff. In all our travels this is the only place my children refer to as "our hotel". This is the only review I have ever felt compelled to write for a hotel and I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Great Hotel in great area. Greenwich is one of the richest, most exclusive luxury areas in the USA and this hotel fits in well in many respects. It is not on the water however it still has a lot to offer. Catering facilities, a huge atrium, many other amenities. Expect great facilities and service. Very convenient to I-95 exit 5 in CT.

Not Satisfied at all! I was emailed by a woman named Marie a welcome letter two days in advance of my stay and I saw there was a shuttle service within a 5 mile radius. We were part of a block of rooms for a wedding and the wedding venue was 4.3 miles away so I thought that this was a great amenity that I would like to try and take advantage of so I emailed Marie for details. 6 hours later I did not get a response to my email. So I called her phone number from the email and it went directly to a busy signal. I called the corporate and then got transferred to the front desk then transferred to three other people and then finally they said they would just transfer me to Marie (which is what I wanted to begin with sense she emailed me to begin with). She told me she has just received my email (the one I sent 6 hours ago..) She was rude and had a attitude like she didn't even want to give me the time of day and gave me no answers about the shuttle service. I spoke then to the front desk person about getting early check in. They asked me when I wanted to check in I told them if I could check in a hour or two early so 1pm instead of 3pm because the wedding was at 3:30 and I would like some time to get settled into the room and change for the wedding would be great. They said they wont know until the morning of Saturday when I was to check in and they would call me and put an alert on my account that I requested early check in. I never got a call saying we could check in early. When I got to the front desk they never said anything about the early check in alert. The shuttle service is a joke and doesn't do you any good. You are better off with Uber and I was even told that by the front desk person. The front desk said you can try the service but you probably wont get to your destination on time (which isn't that the point of a CONFERENCE shuttle service is so people with business meetings get to their meetings on time?!). Multiple people on the phone as well as the front desk said for me to just come down stairs when you are ready and they will tell you if the shuttle is ready or if the driver is a half hour away and when they will be back. I asked "why couldn't they tell me now when they would be back mostly because we basically needed to leave in the next 30 mins anyways for the wedding." They said they don't know when he will be back but he is on his way.... so basically the previous statement they said was a lie. Waiting over 30 minutes for a shuttle service is insane amount of time in itself when I can wait 5 minutes for an Uber. Meanwhile there were several shuttle buses parked waiting to be driven. The "free" shuttle service is more of a hassle then its worth to the point of their own staff not recommending it to guests. Why even hat it or advertise it then. On top of all this. The phone in my room did not work so I had to call the corporate number on my cellphone to get transferred to the front desk to ask a simple question and I told them my phone in the room was not working and they did nothing about it to get it fixed or switched out. The room thermostat was difficult to adjust and they have the most tiny vent for the air to come out so it took forever for the room to get cooled off.
The doorman I was asking a question and he completely turned away from me and started having a conversation about another employee while he left me there standing waiting. Then I thought he was coming back and then started a conversation with another woman that came out from the front desk about another guests luggage. He finally then waved me off and never gave me a real answer to my question. Very Rude..The only person that was of any help was the person that checked me out at the end of my stay and she was very nice blonde woman but that was only about a 1 minute interaction. I stayed here years ago and it was lovely that trip but service and quality has GREATLY changed for the worse since then. I will never come and stay here again! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I liked it. However I didn't realize they charged for parking until we checked in. I could have paid a slightly higher rate that included breakfast and parking. I asked the clerk at check-in to change rate that I didn't realize until we got in the room and she basically said too bad.

Disappointed for the price you pay they should have basic stuff, like free wifi and high definition tv's. Plus parking was extra as well. They have large conference/banquet halls, which were packed with an Indian wedding that last 3 days and overflow crowds in the hallways. Also they held intervention meetings w/ people from local churches. The elevator is in one corner of the hotel, and the hallways are so long I started taking the stairs after the first day. I wouldn't recommend this place for the price. I'm sure there are better hotels nearby that include all of the above for a lower price.

a nice hotel where you get greeted by George Dimitratos, a very nice gentleman, who even worked the shuttle service to take us to town and back. At the front desk everyone was cheerful and nice, especially Pam. Pam kept checking on us and helped us with our daily town trips and found us good restaurants. Clean rooms and nice atmosphere. We weren't charged any parking nor Wifi, we stayed the Columbus day weekend. We will definitely come back again.

Cool looking hotel & that's all it has going for itself. Globalists, don't expect to be treated like globalists. Don't expect to get any sleep, the walls are made of paper I feel like I'm in a damn homeless shelter. The walk to your room is like a vegas hotel room walk. If you've been, you know what I mean. Ridiculously long if you're not by the elevator. I stay at hyatts all over the world and this has certainly been one of the worst. I've barely even slept!!! Don't stay here. It's cheap for a reason. Don't be fooled

This hotel is really nice. One of the nicest most affordable hotels in the area and it's location is in a very nice neighborhood as well. The only downside is the lack of free parking that's why I deducted 1 star.

Super loud wedding music too after 11pm. Front desk straight up lied to me about how they would do something about it instead of just telling me it will be like until 11:15pm. They knew I had to get up at 6am to work the next day, yet kept that 11+pm tidbit a secret. Then after the wedding, multiple screaming unsupervised children ran amok in the hallway outside our door -- honestly I could have slept better at a motel 6. I feel like a truck hit me today. Oh, and house keeping left a wet towel on the chair AND set my personal pillow ON the wet towel and left it there so I could have a damp pillow to sleep on, thanks for that! Also, the catering lady was unpleasant (with a "b"). My advice is ask for a room FAR away from the wedding music, and bring the earplugs in case of screaming children.

Ok hotel. Only one elevator bank makes it annoying if your room is on wrong side. Also the car Park is confusing because you can t use room key to leave garage. Thus. Abused a back up leaving the hotel and almost made us late for a wedding.

Very nice hotel, especially for the price. I like it even more after staying at the local Marriott.

I have stayed at this Hyatt Regency 8 times this year, the rooms are pretty small, yet clean. The breakfast is okay but, the restaurant/roomservice has costly subpar food.

My aunt booked a room here and when she arrived off the airplane from South Carolina they turned her away because they over booked the hotel. She is handicapped and had to sleep on our couch. I ve never experienced this before. Very unreliable establishment. I would never book again at a place that you cannot rely on having your room when you arrive.
