Attended the Colorado Annual Farm Bureau meeting here and absolutely loved it! Wonderful service and staff.
Attended the Colorado Annual Farm Bureau meeting here and absolutely loved it! Wonderful service and staff.
Whenever we are in Denver we always stay at Hyatt in downtown and this time stayed in DTC. The one in downtown is very nice, clean, friendly staff, etc hence why we always stay there. I was very disappointed with this one. After checking in, I went to my room and started hearing this weird gurgling sound coming from the bathroom and there was water coming up out of the drain in the sink. They switched my room and in the new room the toilet was clogged. So clearly they have plumbing issues. The mattress is uncomfortable, pillows are terrible, and whatever they wash their sheets in is super itchy and makes the sheets feel like they are covered in starch.
What has prompted me to post this though is the bar. We went to the bar at 11:40PM on a Friday and they refused to serve us a drink because last call was at 11:30, but yet we could still place an order for food. The bartender was a total jerk about it too. Then after we got our to-go food I went to the lobby to ask why we did not have drinks in our refrigerator and asked that our regfrigerator be filled and they said they don't do that and could not explain why. I explained that the other Hyatt's I have stayed at always have stocked refrigerators, but they still couldn't tell me why this one doesn't do that. So I said "ok, so there is no way for me to get a beer in this entire hotel on a Friday night?" They said no. We had been up traveling for 22 hours straight and all we wanted was to enjoy a beer after that and I expected to be able to get that at a hotel such as the Hyatt, but apparently not. If I am paying a little extra to stay at a nicer hotel such as the Hyatt I expect a certain caliber or service. I would have faired better staying at inexpensive hotel.
Great Stay! Nice quiet location while still central to everything! Love!
Great place to stay while conducting business out of state. Room was cleaned the decor was nice the amenities nice the bed was very comfortable staff where very helpful
The Property is beautiful, fully renovated, and modern. The room was small but enough space, clean an comfortable. Today after waking up and smoking my morning cigarette, I decided to have what I thought was my free continental breakfast. When I was waiting to be seated, I was not greeted, but I was shown to a table, and a menu was provided. I asked about the continental breakfast, but I was told it was for guests only. I replied that I was staying in room 302, and the associate advises that she will verify. She came back and advised that breakfast was not included and to find out more at the front desk. (not sure why she assumed I was not staying at the hotel). I went down to the first floor to the front desk, and two associates fully ignored me. Contacted Expedia who intervened and contacted and spoke to a manager, met with the manager in the front desk who apologized for the for experience, also acknowledged that he was present in the front desk on another desk when the incident happened but did not remember the details. He added that he was not sure why the restaurant associate provided me with the wrong information and refused to refund my future nights so I can find another hotel that I feel like a guest.
Friendly and helpful staff! The rooms, in my opinion, werent all that spectacular (though the bed is comfy af), but they're nice. THE FOOD HERE IS AMAZING! Bison Chili and Lobster Mac was a piece of heaven.
I only visited the bar at this Hyatt, to meet my parents. The bar was extremely nice, and had the bourbon I asked for. If this bar was more accessible for non-hotel guests, I would drink here.
Checked in late after a long day on the road. Got a fantastic rate via Trivago. Got an upgrade to a Business King after applying for the Hyatt Elite program.
That said, the AC in the room was noisy and could clearly hear a party going on next door, despite assurances that it was a quiet room.
Overall, this is an fine establishment. Lots of amenities and a very helpful staff.
Rooms were a little small, but fit our needs. It was a little far from downtown, so if you are looking for something closer, there are other Hyatts within downtown. Otherwise, it was a cool hotel.
My boyfriend and I were here this past weekend. Noticed they had a bunch of mattresses and box springs out their back door. We were curious so we went to look at them realized they were INFESTED with BedBugs! Disgusting! I immediately went to our room and checked out bed and realized it was shipped on the 4th of September! Hence tell your customers if you are having BUG ISSUES!!! Mind you the mattresses weren t wrapped so they were drug out through the hallways!
Met a friend for drinks and lunch. Great service and excellent burger. An employee even held the bathroom for open for me as I went in. Beautiful facility!
The grounds around are very clean and enjoyable for taking strolls to get some fresh air
Very attractive lobby, mediocre rooms, below-average gym
Great rooms, courteous staff, great experience all around.
Not enough light in the bathrooms. Wish they had asked me if I was ok with a handicap room. Salad was not worth the cost. Everyone was very nice though.
The location is great, right within dtc and the rooms and hotel amenities are all first rate, my only minor complaint about the hotel is the parking garage it is far away from the front entrance and hard to find a good space to park in especially one close to the elevators, plus the walk to the lobby is FAR...
Really nice place overall.
We attended an event in the ballroom at this hotel. in all fairness I can only give a review on the location, lobby and event space But not the rooms.
The lobby decor & spaciousness is incredibly airy and modern. Each corner of public guest space is very clean. The hotel spares no expense at detail, offers a selection of complementary infused waters and has a distinct pleasant aroma wafting through each corridor.
My review would have read five stars had there been some improvement on two areas:
1) parking is confusing.
2) the quality of food that was offered at the banquet by in-house catering did not meet the expectations of such a high-quality Hotel.
This Hyatt is not as nice as the one in downtown Denver, but it's at a great location. There is much less traffic around this location and you can also get most of the benefits of a Hyatt at half the price of the one downtown. Definitely planning to return to this one.
Beautiful modern hotel! The decorations and atmosphere are really nice.
Everything was great. Good price and friendly staff.
The food was rather expensive but very tasty, so worth it.
I've booked this hotel out of convenience for corporate guests several times. It's a lovely hotel, however we've had significant problems regarding billing following the stay. The WRONG credit card of ours was charged an extra $600 due to a guest having a similar last name - and they still have failed to provide a receipt or a refund. It's now been weeks and nothing has been resolved. I've spent so much time on the phone with them, and it's been a really miserable experience.
Last year I attempted to book this hotel for a $150,000 event and no one even gave me a call back.
I'm usually a Hyatt person, so I'd really like to give them our company business - but at this point I have no interest in working with this hotel because I can't seem to get anyone on the phone that will follow through. Super disappointing!
Very nice place. Way to much gray in my junior executive suite which was nothing special. Felt like I was in a prison cell with all the gray. The hotel itself was nice.
Nice hotel but there are more economical alternatives. Breakfast was great but pricey. The type of room I reserved was not available, but the staff was eager to make up for the mistake.
Great hotel, comfortable rooms, and pet friendly! Only downfall, and I'm not sure why but it takes forever to check-in.
never been to a nicer hotel. except for the suites in Centaal city.
It was a good hotel. Beware of the breakfast though, 22 dollar buffet breakfast is pretty spendy. Cheapest thing on the breakfast menu is a 9 dollar bowl of oatmeal.
The hotel is beautiful but the setup of our individual room was a little odd. There were only outlets available on one side of the bed, and was no fan or second light in the bathroom. The workout center was clean and well stocked with towels, gym wipes, etc. We did have some issues with check-in. A family member had reserved our room, and after flying in late we were told we could not check in because the family member was not present. We had used the online check-in before arriving to try to avoid the issue, and were told when we arrived that the self check-in kiosks were not in service and being removed-- even though the email confirmation said otherwise.
Stayed for a couple nights of staycation. Here is what has me pre-occupied ... the restaurant's food was incredible. I ordered off the menu for room service. The menu sounded fantastic, but my expectations were not high. Hidden gem of a restaurant. This one is like the street cafe in Paris that was unexpectedly great because an ambitious and talented chef was hanging there to build a resume. The front desk staff was great. Love the open desk set up. Minor ding because the room lacked full caf coffee pods, but I'm not taking off a star for that error.
Nice place, worth the money. The downstsairs resturant has a great breakfast buffet.
Very nice hotel with great customer service.
We had an excellent time and highly recommend.
Staff friendly, services good, Wi-Fi horrible, cellular service unavailable in ballroom area
Nothing to complain about, so that is a 4 star for me. We got a group discount for a wedding. The rates on the door were ridiculous. $480 a night for premium, whatever than means. We paid WAY less than that. The pool looked nice but we didn't find time for it. The room was fine. Pretty typical for a $110 a night motel where I'm used to staying. I would NEVER pay 480 for this.
The excellent staff saved it from 1 star. When you pay 80% more than the other Hyatt properties within 3 miles you expect higher quality from the hotel. Refrigerator in room didn't work, coffee maker smoked and leaked. There is a choice of expensive valet or a run down parking garage. Every day we had issues getting the exit parking bar to raise to get out. Want a secret? Just press the operator help button and get out for free. They are so accustomed to problems they just let people out.
Save yourself or your company some money, stay somewhere nicer near by.
Reasons to stay here
-Clean room
Reasons not to go here
-Many hidden fees, read everything
-50 down payment for everyday you stay, for some odd reason
-WiFi, its Free but only for (for 20-25 hours)
-No compementry breakfeast
-Parking is 12.50$ a day
-No microwave, food is expensive
Nice and clean. Good food at the restaurant. Good wifi coverage. I was able to do what I needed to do while here.
Very friendly staff. Always accommodating and speedy about it.
Great hotel
Clean and comfortable
Excellent service
Honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Thank you
Excellent hotel and service. Staff was amazingly helpful and you could tell that management is emphasizing customer service. Very nice experience. Will stay there again and look for more Hyatt hotels in the future.
Wonderful service, though the hotel is small. Not very many restaurants in the area that stay open late
A bit confusingly laid out. This review is more for the con than the hotel itself
Great service! I was staying at the Hyatt one night only, but I forgot a couple items at home: things like toothbrush, toothpaste, and a wine bottle opener. I called down to the front desk, and they brought me those items up within only a few minutes, complimentary.
A huge Hyatt Regency in the heart of DTC close to many restaurants and major corporate offices. The staff is well polished and are genuinely concerned for your needs.
Great service and the rooms are beautiful and the pool is okay
Excellent place! I stayed there to attend the Seattle vs Denver game. They have a shuttle that takes you to the train to the field.
Staff was excellent. I was bumped to a nicer room. The only downside was they didn't have feather-free pillows.
Hands down some of the best customer service ever received. They treat guests like family and have delicious healthy food options. They made my business stay easier by taking care of amenities and providing the right balance of pro-active service and privacy.
Great hotel and the price was reasonable. I wish there had been a better selection of complimentary beverages. Everything was fine.
Nice, clean hotel with the most comfortable beds and pillows. Also very quiet! They have a nice pool room with a hot tub and gym. The gym is small, but at least they have one. They also have a nice patio area with a fire pit. I would stay here again
Because my wife and I didn't look classy after a long day of driving, I felt they treated us like second class citizens. Very pompous and non accommodating.
Easy to access, great environment, friendly customer service
Did not get the room I reserved and was told it had something to do with booking from a 3rd party vendor .
Then paid $12 to self park.
Room was nice and comfortable.
Was awoken by the sound of water running in an adjacent room (surprisingly loud).
Good location, lots of parking even for a 400person co ference and food was slightly better than normal for an event that size.
It was a great place to host our 10 year old son's birthday.
Nice area around the hotel. Conference area is small but functional. Rooms are likewise small but nice.
On other big hotel, a slow restaurant and bar service
Economy room was just that. No more no less. Slept reasonably well for cheap, without getting robbed in a climate controlled room. I call that a win.
They had cute rooms. However I stayed here the weekend they hosted a dance competition with people traveling from across the country. No social distancing and no mask wearing were enforced by staff. All elevators were packed. Even though they did have signs stating only 4 per elevator. I ve got to talk to one of the parents from the groups traveling, and kept in touch. A week later 30/150 ppl who were there have tested positive for covid. I was still there 2 days after the competition, the elevators were extremely messy and still dirty on Tuesday and they left Sunday. That s not right, considering the pandemic. The towels were extremely dark as well, so bring your own. Almost like staying at a motel 6 or something. Also the staff doesn t seem to be present after 8pm. We don t see them as we walk in the lobby at front desk, we tried calling to the front desk about 10 pm to let them know we would stay for another day and no answer. So I m guessing they ve cut staff at night. Cause that happened 3/4 nights we was there
Management staff failed in every aspect not just once, but twice. On our wedding night, and then again on our 1 year anniversary. Needless to say, we won't be staying at this location or any other location owned by this corporation.
Stayed for a convention that was held inside the hotel. They did a great job hosting and the room was nice.
Ceiling of room needed to be changed out. Water damage to it.
Very nice hotel. Killer location near nice restaraunts
Food was decent, friendly staff and good service overall.
Never got beds. They had internet mishaps and messed up our room, so we were 'upgraded' to a small room and they said they would be bringing beds up, 4 calls later they were still 'working on it's. Never got the beds, so never going back there again.
Well everything feels cheap the service is bad you have to pay for everything little thing I rather stay at a cheap motel like days inn at least they are cheap and you know what to expect. Oh yea you have to pay to park 12 dollars it's insane.
