arrived late at night... saw many shady people walking in and out. Hard to find parking. Told us they had $40 a night (was full) or valley for over $50 ... They even charge $3.50 for a bottle of water that usually is free at another hotels as a welcome. Personal at front desk was rude (last thing I needed after a long trip). For that price I expected a little better service.

I wasn't staying in the hotel, I only visited peaks Lodge. So my review of the hotel can only be based on the hotel employees I encountered while making my way to the elevators, and they were super friendly.

Love this hotel. I've stayed here twice, once for a convention, and once during a move, and both times they were stellar. The last time I stayed, the staff was great, particularly Brittany, the hostess at Altitude. Everyone was very helpful, even though we had an issue with the 3rd party booking company I used. The food is great (we ordered room service several times) and the staff in every area was very pleasant. Five stars.

I work setting up event audio visual equipment and am inside hotels all over the united states. The banquet staff at the Denver location are SUPER AWESOME. I am behind the scenes and am constantly amazed at their professionalism, cleanliness and quality of service. Shout out to the super hardworking dishwashing crew!

The hotel is in a great location and the staff members provide great service. The hotel has multiple bars/lounges. I recommend upgrading to get the Regency Club access. The hotel's spa gives amazing sun stone massages!

Very nice place to stay! Clean and tidy. I don't know if I had people staying in the room next to me, but I heard nothing around me which was so calming! Parking at the hotel costs $35 overnight in a parking garage under the hotel. The only things that weren't so great is that the only light in the room comes from either the natural light or lamps around the room, so at night it's not very bright. Also, you can't really take a bath because the height drain is pretty low.

A classic conference center hotel - massive, standardized, cold, convenient, neat, boring. Room service was not great and pretty slow. Their pool is good if you want to have some laps, but not to relax. The hot tub on the sundeck is cool.

This hotel is amazing! The breakfast buffet from The Former Saint was the best breakfast I have ever had, the servers were exceptional and the food was incredible! The hotel rooms were clean, and the mountain view was great! The pool and jacuzzi open at 4am which was a treat when you stay up late or get up early. The Starbucks inside was great and open 24 hours. I searched through hundreds of hotels before choosing this hotel and I was not wrong, I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location, service, and amenities. Had a great one-nighter birthday stay, also enjoyed the newly-opened Former Saint restaurant for Sunday brunch. Fitness center, hot tub, etc, were all excellent. The front desk staff at checkout, especially Mac Gauthier, were extremely attentive and courteous. We'll definitely stay again soon!

I love this hotel. The hotel and room were extremely clean. The room was huge, quite and I loved the view. The gym and pool are very nice. The staff of this hotel are the nicest I have ever come across in a hotel. Food in the restaurant is great. I loved staying here. Cant wait to come back. Check out the Colorado suite.

Rooms were beautiful. Centennial ballroom was impeccable. Staff was very friendly and professional. Food served in ballroom was delicious and well-plated. Definitely recommend for corporate events and overnight stays.

Great hotel. They have I think the best restaurant in all Downtown were you can seat and see the big blue bear. The service was amazing. I loved the bed, I didn't want to wake up. They have an Staburcks inside which is pretty convinient. The hotel it's also near to the convention center and the majority of the interesting places of Downtown Denver. If I have the opportunity to stay here again I for sure will do it.

The resturant, Former Saint, has a new name, has been remodeled, and a totally revamped menu. Their craft beer choices are excellent as is the food. Prices are reasonable for a major hotel. If you're downtown, it's definitely worth a visit.

Great experience. The hotel staff was very helpful and attentive. I was even greeted and helped by the cleaning staff on two different occasions. Not the best service in the altitude restaurant, but the hotel experience was very good. It s right next to the conference center and close to a lot of places to eat. 16th street mall is a little scary but I felt safer seeing plenty of police patrolling the area.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Great location, just a block from the 16th street mall where there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. And, we got a great deal on our room, so it was one of the less expensive hotels in this area.

My husband and I come to Denver at Christmas time ...

My husband and I come to Denver at Christmas time every year. We ski, shop, go to a Broncos game and have chosen to stay at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Denver. However, this year will be the last year. Here is the list of reasons why..
1. The hotel failed to notify us that the lounge was closed for most of our 9 day stay but allowed us to pay the rate for using it.
2. The hotel cleaning staff were rude and while trying to take a mid morning nap, the lady was cleaning the room next door talking very loudly on the phone about her family drama. With no consideration to the guest resting in the next room. We even had the do not disturb sign on the door. She was talking so loud we could hear her through the walls. We notified the front desk but who knows if any thing was done. The same lady was on her Bluetooth again the next morning.
3. The cleaning staff not once changed the sheets on either bed even though there was plenty of time for them to do so seeing as how we spent lots of time doing outside activities. I had a pair of sleeping socks wedged in the bed which I thought I lost but they had been made into the bed sheets !
4. The room was clean until you discovered the hidden dust bunnies on the bed headboards, behind the TV, on the Windows, fingerprints on the glass. (However, the view is amazing)
5. The issue that caused me to write this review stemmed from a billing issue. We are frequent guest of Hyatt Hotels across America and are members of their points rewards system. Upon direction from the lady at the front desk, we called Hyatt Rewards to pay for our stay upon check out - where I was put on hold for 1 hour and 25 minutes. I was on hold on two separate phones. With no true consideration for loyal guest or customer satisfaction they blew us off and are basically stealing our points after telling us the price of the stay would be one rate but charging us another.
Oh and for a hotel with so many available rooms, having only one 8 person hot tub is very inconvenient - especially when they do nothing about kids under 16 slashing around in the hot tub as if it's a giant bathtub.
Needless to say, we will not be returning to this hotel next year for our annual Denver trip.
P.S. the valet guys are VERY friendly, professional and help with any questions you may have about the area. They are informative and really take care of your vehicle as if it were their own.

Nice. Luxuriant. Expensive. You get what you pay for, and this place is not in to riff Raff. So, if you've got your pennies saved and want to support corporate enterprises, then this is the spot for you.

They have an AWESOME gym and fitness center. Really chill bar on the top floor. They have Starbucks in the lobby. Room temperature was perfect. Housekeeping was perfect. Super clean. No mini-bar and in room dining fee's were kinda high. Also, no outside pool (they have an indoor lap-style pool and an outdoor spa/jacuzzi) They have an excellent day spa though! I would totally stay here again!

Customer service was good, valet was also awesome, but the rm wasn't what I expected, bathroom didn't have a fan, housekeeper doesn't clean rm great found some dirty ness, someone hair in bathtub, the coffee station needs it's own coffee stand not under the tv stand , tv channels sucked.. No movie channels. Finally, I can't believe no continental breakfast... And the price I paid wasn't worth my $ and tooo much for my pocket! I stick w- Super 8

I just went there to meet a family member to eat but the food was very good and they got it done in a very great amount of time. The service was great was well always asking for refills and if we needed anything else. Also the vallet parking was a good price and the employees were very generous.

Nice hotel. Right across the street from the convention center, so it is perfect for event attendees. Only negative was that management didn't seem to mind that some of their guests were partying at full volume until 3am. #nosleep
