My husband and I come to Denver at Christmas time ...

My husband and I come to Denver at Christmas time every year. We ski, shop, go to a Broncos game and have chosen to stay at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Denver. However, this year will be the last year. Here is the list of reasons why..
1. The hotel failed to notify us that the lounge was closed for most of our 9 day stay but allowed us to pay the rate for using it.
2. The hotel cleaning staff were rude and while trying to take a mid morning nap, the lady was cleaning the room next door talking very loudly on the phone about her family drama. With no consideration to the guest resting in the next room. We even had the do not disturb sign on the door. She was talking so loud we could hear her through the walls. We notified the front desk but who knows if any thing was done. The same lady was on her Bluetooth again the next morning.
3. The cleaning staff not once changed the sheets on either bed even though there was plenty of time for them to do so seeing as how we spent lots of time doing outside activities. I had a pair of sleeping socks wedged in the bed which I thought I lost but they had been made into the bed sheets !
4. The room was clean until you discovered the hidden dust bunnies on the bed headboards, behind the TV, on the Windows, fingerprints on the glass. (However, the view is amazing)
5. The issue that caused me to write this review stemmed from a billing issue. We are frequent guest of Hyatt Hotels across America and are members of their points rewards system. Upon direction from the lady at the front desk, we called Hyatt Rewards to pay for our stay upon check out - where I was put on hold for 1 hour and 25 minutes. I was on hold on two separate phones. With no true consideration for loyal guest or customer satisfaction they blew us off and are basically stealing our points after telling us the price of the stay would be one rate but charging us another.
Oh and for a hotel with so many available rooms, having only one 8 person hot tub is very inconvenient - especially when they do nothing about kids under 16 slashing around in the hot tub as if it's a giant bathtub.
Needless to say, we will not be returning to this hotel next year for our annual Denver trip.
P.S. the valet guys are VERY friendly, professional and help with any questions you may have about the area. They are informative and really take care of your vehicle as if it were their own.
