Great space in ballrooms, no WiFi or data in the convention areas, no smaller rooms for conferences
This was my second time at the hotel for a conference and it was great each time. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The hospitality staff are warm and very good at what they do. The gentleman who runs the Hyatt lounge is particularly wonderful. Location is perfect for a tourist as there are many bars and restaurants nearby.
Great hotel located right next to convention center.
Visited with my volleyball team for a tournament. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Amenities were excellent. The only annoying in the hotel was the elevator. A quality place to stay in the heart of Denver.
Super close to the convention center, walkable to 16th Street mall, and the staff is super nice and understanding too
Booked a couples massage on short notice. Staff and therapists were very professional and attentive. Prices were very reasonable.
Always a full service, positive experience. From the Starbucks coffee in the lobby to the quiet conversation areas throughout the lobby.
Clean and spacious rooms and everything is within walking distance of the hotel.
Easy to park if you re driving. Great staff, I liked the location and I stayed in one of the club room the value was great. The only thing I didn t like was that it was some kinda reunions going on in the rooms and they were loud, behaved like drunk teenagers using the elevator like crazy going from floor to floor. One time I had to wait more than 5 minutes for the elevator. Also the party was until mid night so forget about sleeping early.
We had some drinks at their bar, but did not stay overnight. The bar is very nice and service was punctual. Overall a pretty and pleasant experience:)
My stay at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Convention Center was wonderful. I had a mountain view room on the 23rd floor and it was nothing short of amazing. The customer service was great and my light dinner at Peak Lounge was delicious. The view overlooking the city and mountains was breathtaking. The hotel was within walking distance of several restaurants, shopping, and other activities. I would highly recommend staying at the Hyatt when you visit Denver!
The customer service is terrible. They don't honor reservations, or try to be accommodating. "Im sorry i cant help you" was the staffs favorite response. I have stayed in 3 star places with better staff.
I attended a convention that included breakfast, lunch and happy hour. The food was delicious, the beer selection was decent. The meeting facilities were excellent.
in town for a conference and stayed here for a few days. Hotel is clean and very convenient being across the street from the convention center. Would definitely stay here again
The outside and lobby are gorgeous, but the rooms are just okay and the restaurant (altitude) is not very good. I was disappointed after my stay at other Hyatt Regency locations. The view from my room is lovely, though.
The absolute best customer service! The staff is very attentive and truly care about your needs! When I come back and visit Denver, I would definitely stay in this hotel.
Okay, let me start out with a disclaimer this post is a description of one of the weirdest things that has ever happened to me. So my husband and I spend the New Year in Colorado, and the majority of the trip was amazing. We really had a great trip. The only issue we had during the entire week was with management in the Hyatt Regency in Denver. I ll start by giving you a little background. New Year s Eve, we had a little too much to drink- not that uncommon. I feel like everybody we met that night was in our same boat. All of this, if it weren t for Hyatt, would sound like it was not a big deal, but at around 1:15 am in the hotel lobby area, my husband said something inappropriate, and I slapped him across the face. Not my proudest moment, but I feel like it s not too particularly crazy I walked away, and it was what I thought was the end of story. Unfortunately, that was not the end of story. After I walked away, the manager at the hotel walked over to my husband and kicked him out of the hotel. He took his keycard and told him he wasn t welcome back.
It gets weirder My husband left the hotel, as instructed, but didn t have his wallet. At the time it was 2 degrees Fahrenheit in Denver, so after about 30 minutes, my husband returned to the hotel, freezing cold, since he had nowhere (not freezing) to sleep. When he returned to the hotel, the police immediately grabbed him, and spent about 45 minutes interrogating him because hotel management told them that he assaulted me! Yes, I am not proud that I slapped my husband, but accusing the father of my child, and the provider for my family, that he ASSAULTED ME, is absolutely ridiculous. I m not a legal expert, but after all we went through, I m pretty sure that this meets the legal definition of defamation of character in a slanderous form. It s also extremely sexist. Assuming that he is at fault, solely because he is a man, is extremely sexist. My husband is one of the most laid back and gentile people I have ever met. He has not, and would not, ever, hit me. They have everything on surveillance footage, and I would happily testify for all legal matters that come about.
I have always stayed with Hilton, and this was my first experience at a Hyatt. It will also be my last.
Nice hotel clean rooms, but horrible service 35 dollar parking fee undisclosed. And garage gates would not work, had to call every time we left. Pool closes at 10 p.m. but was asked to leave at 9:45. Funny smell in hallways. Add 25% hotel tax to price. Hotel is connected to convention center.
I enjoyed the hotel - the rooms are very nice, and the fitness center offers enough exercises for a traveler to avoid being repetitive. I however think it ridiculous to charge $3.50 for bottled water and not give guests access to clean water for free. I also thought their usage of Comcast business class TV was preposterous. The last time I had to use a scrolling, nondynamic channel lineup was in the 90s. No on demand offerings. Thank goodness I have Netflix and a laptop to stream. The staff is friendly and courteous.
Huge hotel, pretty good buffet lunch for $14. Location is the best in Denver.
Friendly staff. Valet parking wasn t pretty timely. I was having issues with my car battery dying and the stuff jumped my car numerous times in order to bring it to me. Great and Very professional customer service!
Downtown can be a hassle with the parking and traffic. But this Hotel has a valet parking and it make the visit to Hyatt Regency very convenient. Most definitely will stay again.
We had dinner here. Service was a little slow, but staff was friendly and accommodating. They made me a drink that was on a menu that hadn't been updated apparently. Even though it was out of season, they still went ahead and made it for me. Husband started feeling ill during dinner (not due to the restaurant) and they very graciously bagged everything up quickly for us to take with us back to the hotel. Food was still good. Would eat again.
Great experience! Beautiful accommodations, very friendly staff!!
Attended the Taste For Life event in the exhibition hall, which was nice, but not amazing. The 27th floor has a beautiful bar/lounge looking out on the Denver skyline. Definitely will return with a date!
Pretty decent, wasn't crazy about the beds. All in all good.
Went to the bar for drinks. Nice place. Pricey drinks as to be expected. Good view of Denver.
Stopped in for dessert at the Peaks Lounge bar. Nice view, nice atmosphere, and the service was ok. Bad coffee, and the desserts were a little disappointing.
Beautiful, clean rooms. Spacious hotel. Very nice location in the center of downtown Denver. Love it. Parking could be less though ... just sayin
One night guest, everything was in order and anything I needed was taken care of by the front desk
I went to the Hyatt for the 1940s White Christmas Ball and had a great time. The Hyatt is always a great venue for events.
Great hotel. Pricey, but that's par for the course in this part of town.
Hotel was AWESOME! Very clean, great views! The only bummer was the self parking garage. It was so confusing getting into the hotel. We were desperately looking for better signage and ended up having to walk a few flights of stairs and a long walk to the lobby (not fun with heavy luggage).
Parked in the parking garage here as I was visiting downtown. A bit expensive but convenient.
Great service and had a lot of fun at our convention
Wonderful! We stay here for all events we come to downtown Denver for. Being right across the street from ComicCon and other events is great. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are nice, and all staff are professional.
Very comfortable with a fridge I can use. We had drinks in the lobby bar, great time. Here for the convention center and they're next door.
Room was clean and comfy. I was billed for two separate valet parking charges even though we self parked and paid separately. But they were quick to remove them.
Great hotel ballets were awesome and employees friendly
Came to Denver to meet friends and your the city for the weekend. I found a great rate on top of a complimentary night as a Hyatt Elite Member.
Check in was seamless and I was given many perks as a member. I highly recommend becoming a member if that's something you're able to take on (credit card). The hotel room they gave me had been prepared specifically for me as seen by the personal card by the manager, which was a nice touch.
Throughout my stay, the rooms and all the facilities were so clean! Hot water was quick and never an issue. Turn down service was wonderful and made me feel like I was walking into a fresh room.
Peaks is a must visit for a drink while enjoying the Denver skyline! Great drinks and reasonable prices (especially for a hotel).
The only issues I had -- upon check out the front desk rep I spoke to was a bit rude. There was a miscommunication in how I wanted my points to be allocated and she had an attitude (I'm guessing out of frustration), which I didn't appreciate at all.
Honestly an amazing experience. The staff was friendly, and the smiles were infectious. I think that I had a great time for the nightly stay. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and positive. I felt better each time I was greeted with a smile. Only thing is I wish the front desk was more specific as to where to drop the hotel card key off in the garage. Aside from that, amazing experience all the way around.
Room is clean, and staff are friendly. Nice lounge in the lobby and friendly bar staff. Rooms are a bit expensive for no more than what they are.
Luv the lobby bar. Nice rooms. Regency Club. Responsive staff. Great GM
Great view of the Rockies & had fireworks show outside our window
We had a great experience, we got to stay in a suite. We had access to floor 35 treat suite. It was awesome. Lack of parking gave this 4 stars instead of 5.
Nice hotel. Lacked any complimentary breakfast for the price. But nice. Simple. Great amenities
Conference rooms were nice and comfortable. Staffs were all very helpful and friendly. The coffee and quick lunches at the convenience store in the lobby were really good too.
The Hyatt is definitely a nice place to go, but I would say not very family friendly. If you walk into the building it is beautiful. The place has the feel of a sophisticated hotel and I would say that is the point. Its downtown and geared toward rich business men and women as well as couples wanting to have a get away. My experience here was slightly unfortunate although not completely the hotels fault, but should be taken into consideration. My wife paid for our room through priceline which stated that we would be getting a $500 room for $180. When we arrived we received a clean, nice, but standard room. It wasn't anything fancy. The hotel was kind enough to take care of our parking, but unfortunately neither the hotel nor priceline was willing to own up to the mistake of false advertisement. I blame priceline for that, but the hotel is wrapped up in this as well unfortunately. Not something to avoid the hotel over, but make sure you know what you are getting.
Great atmosphere, drinks were a little pricey. Friendly staff.
Accommodations were great. Facility was beautiful. However, amenities were lacking--parking on site very expensive, luggage carts unavailable for use, etc.
I do not like it , it is so expensive. the carpet is not clean enough
Great location, across from Convention center, 24hours coffee shop, 27th floor Bar with an amazing view and great snacks.
If you try to have a high quality time in Denver this hotel is the place to be at.
My friend held a birthday room party and was satisfied with the service.
Great rooms, great view, good amenities, Starbucks inside, decent restaurants as well. Two blocks from 16th street mall. You're right in the middle of downtown Denver. Awesome place to stay if you want to be out and about in Denver but also great for just kicking back at the hotel.
Luxury convention center, excellent service and facilities
Nice room, close to a number of restaurants and bars. Nice quality gym as well. Food was good but room service menu was somewhat limited.
I have the best time here. It makes me feel happy when I think about my time here.
