The staff are very nice and accommodating but this place needs renovation. Images online is not how the place looks today. The hallway carpets are disgustingly dirty; the smell is very bad. Lots of marks and imperfections on the walls. Cracks everywhere. The Jacuzzi is located on level 16 and the pool on 8???? If you want to warm up you need to dry up first then go up 8 floors to sit a small jacuzzi with low water pressure. The area around the jacuzzi: all the outdoor couches are ripped. Literally ripped and the center tables have huge stains on them. We couldn't find one person that works there to order drinks..The pool is ONE fits all for this huge place. No children pool. So the adults need to deal with the tiny ones and their toys. The pool water is far from clear. I've seen clean clear pool waters in cancun. Not in this place. The food and drinks too expensive for how this place looks and feels. Room carpets are dirty and old. And OMG, do not sleep on the sofa. You will feel the springs no matter how much support you lay down. Everything in this place doesn't feel fresh and clean. We are still here. I had to call the cleaning crew twice so far just to get the bathroom properly cleaned. So annoyed right now.

My very good friend and I came to Clearwater beach for Memorial Day. We parked in the Hyatt Regency parking space. With the sign reading 5 dollars and hour. We proceeded to the beach. Leaving after just an hour and returning to our vehicle we were paying for our parking and it read 15.00. Shocked we paid the 15.00 with a 20 dollar bill. Our change was exactly 5 quarters. We were highly disappointed and will not be returing to the facility.

Beautiful hotel, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Perfect for our family, but would also be a nice place to come back without kids as well. Loved the view from the Shore restaurant, we will return!

This resort is more than visually breathtaking, it's more that the spectacular view seen from every angle, it's far more than what you see with your eyes. The friends you make at the Hyatt Clearwater, and by friends I mean the exceptional staff, go out of their way to make each guest feel like family. My recent stay was in October and as always the service I received during my stay was stellar. The hotel itself is stunning, sitting beachfront to the Gulf. Everything one would need for a perfect vacation is within either the hotel itself or less than a 10 minute walk.

From the moment I made reservations for my last trip in October and spoke with Justin, the Assistant Operations Manager, about our room and the accommodations I knew we would have a memorable trip. Justin was gracious, attentive, and went out of his way to make the week wonderful. I honestly didn't have to request anything additional as he seemed to just know what would make it great. The upgrade he provided was perfect for both my 9 year-old son and I and it set the tone for a much needed, wonderful vacation. As an added surprise he provided us with vouchers for breakfast, which let me tell you was an added luxury as a 9 year old boy can certainly eat!

The staff at Swim Bar are just amazing. Mandy and Andrew simply go out of their way to not only provide exceptional guest service but also seem to genuinely care for each and every guest. Each time we visit we are welcomed much like we are close friends who've been missed and this type of care is unlike anything I have yet to experience with any other hotel. Staying at the Hyatt Clearwater isn't just a "visit;" it's a home away from home.

Stay was fine - room was VERY ample and comfortable, but he fire alarm going off at 1am was NO help. Front desk never acknowledged it even happened, even when some of us actually responded and went downstairs in our jamas. AND the pool was closed! Yoga on the 16th floor however, was nice. Florida in February - still amazing!

The service was top notch. From waitstaff bringing me extra coffee to bartenders going out of their way to make drinks that weren't typically available.
The views were gorgeous and my friend's suite was larger than my girlfriend's apartment, haha!

Parked here because Pier 60 parking was full. Short walk from the beach. A little pricey on parking but for the area it wasn't too bad. I believe that it maxed out at 35$ a day and around $7 an hour.

Nice hotel as most Hyatts are. This one is not my favorite Hyatt as access is awkward. Service is excellent, room views are teriffic, good deals can be found by booking early. Best to book through Hyatt unless you find a Priceline deal.

Stayed here because I've previously had a great experience. However upon returning, the hotel was just dated. The suites were old, walls in rooms and hallways were badly smudged and dirty. The elevator situation was absolutely horrible. Stayed on the 17th floor and when all the elevators were in service, it took over 5 min to get up/down. This got even worse when one went down, as it did almost daily during my week long stay. For the money I paid for a suite with a view - I will gladly stay at the new and modern Wyndham next door.

We had our wedding here. Our wedding turned out great but it was not because of the wedding planners they assigned to us. The girl we had missed steps at every point along the way. I had to keep on top of everything. Even down to the point where they set up the chairs wrong for the ceremony. We had 20 people so it was not a complicated thing.

I do not fully blame the person assigned to us. The hotel had 6 weddings the same weekend as ours. The hotel is all about money and not about guests experience. Some of our guests were also given really poor rooms. We booked 14 months early so I would have expected a small wedding booked way early to be rather flawless.

Overall this hotel is over priced. Parking room rate resort fee etc. We would have loved to come back for a vacation but the hotel is just not worth the high prices.

We had our wedding here & it's beautiful! The rooms are fantastic but you will have to dig into your wallet for the quality. It's right across from the middle of Clearwater Beach - easy walking distance to the sand.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The stay started off great and the hotel was nice despite it being incredibly overpriced and there being an extra charge for basically everything. But after the trip I realized that my credit card information had been stolen by I m assuming the hotel staff and I m still currently dealing with hundreds of charges on my card from it. Do not recommend staying here, find a more chill and laid back beach and hotel with more honest staff

Really beautiful hotel with awesome views of the ocean. Service was impeccable. We went here for our "babymoon" and it was a wonderful experience. They greet you in the lobby with bottled water and champagne. The only negative was the main restaurant, we went for a last fancy dinner before baby and it was underwhelming. Our server wasn't up to the Hyatt standard. She kept talking about being able to "sense" things such as the gender and name of our unborn baby, and kept trying to guess what names we wanted for our child. Then forgot what our drink orders were, and our appetizer came out the same time as our entree. For breakfast and lunch it was great but dinner was a bit disappointing. I would recommend going somewhere outside the hotel for a nice dinner.

Room had not been cleaned from previous guest upon my arrival. Slept in the bed that had been unused. Bad first night. Second night had a 2am false alarm of the life safety system. Had to evacuate building. Gave 2 stars because hotel staff gave me a gratis tube of toothpaste. Mine didn't clear TSA. 10/10 would pay 550 a night to hone my 2am fire evacuation skills.

I do not see what is the problem with washing your hands is all about. Most people do not wash their hands before cooking or eating. Everyone text and use their cell phones at work any way. I do not have the time to stop and wash my hands all the time. Besides, half the staff in the restuarant do not wash their hands anyway.
