Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa Review

Very plain. Parking it hell and very expensive. Beach it very busy. Sand it white and pretty. I think it's overrated.

Clean beautiful hotel. Great location and just an all around great place to stay.

My poor review is due to Hyatt s valet parking . I went to a 2 1/2 hour event and paid $28 which I was told was a five dollar discount to valet my car i found out later I could have self parked for $5! When I pulled up I asked the valet person if my ticket would be validated which he responded yes . To my surprise they point you to a cashier when you come to collect your car. Nothing is posted when you drop your car off. If Valet is busy it s dangerous because your tail end is hanging out to inbound traffic. Lesson learned ask pricing before you drop off your car!

Our favorite resort in Clearwater beach Hilton Clearwater beach resort is amazing!! The service is awesome, the resort has a great beachside pool and the beach is the best in the US literally ranked #1. Close to all the restaurants and even gives a free yoga session in the morning. Also amazing, and our favorite way to start the day. Totally recommend. We love the suites with a beach view!!!

Joe and Brooke at the front desk are wonderful at their job and costumer service. The lady that attended to our room did an amazing job. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very fruendly. I am beyond satisfied we got married here and stayed at yhe Hyatt!

It's close to the beach, but there were missing towels, it had a coffee machine but not the coffee, the sofa bed was dirty

The place really treats there customers really good !! Happy the whole time there.

Had my wedding here in June. All staff was great! Including bar tenders. Stayed total of 3 nights.Rooms alittle pricey but worth the money overall.

For the money I would go elsewhere. While I enjoyed our stay, much was lacking for the price. Location was good though.

Great location right off the beach. We had one of the Gulf view rooms and it was very bright and airy, had a wonderful view of the beach, and had a full kitchen. The hotel restaurant served great food. The staff were all excellent. We will certainly return to this hotel in the future.

We always have fun at the pool bar! The servers are awesome!

It's right across from the beach. The view is beautiful , minus the many ongoing construction sites. Walking distance to everything that you need on a beach community.

Pool was closed for renovation, yet this was not on their site. Did not upgrade our room when I mentioned it was my sisters birthday, drains in sink and tub slow, restaurant food was not great. Tub was very high with no bars to hold onto to get in an out which was a bit worrisome if you have a bad knee or are elderly. Did not like the beach exit being on same floor as convention rooms and business area either. Will stay at Windham next time.

Nice view, good location. Will work well for a small family of 4 like us.

It starts with a 1 Bedroom suite with a really comfortable bed, 2 bathrooms, large living room and full kitchen. Add to it a friendly staff, all the amenities you could imagine, a beautiful pool deck, and the best views of the beach and intercoastal. Then add the easy access of a beautiful white-sand beach just yards away, and there really nothing more I could have wanted. Sure it's a bit pricey (our stay was on points as a Hyatt credit card holder), but even at full price, it's worth the investment.

Hotel was totally booked, they made sure we had a place to rest our heads. Amazing service.

The beach was very nice and they had nice cabanas to rent. Parking was $5 an hour at the hotel.

The white sandy beach is the front yard. Right on the Gulf of Mexico.

They allow me to check in around 11:00. Nice service. Room is roomy and bright with great view. Swimming pool in the hotel is a little bit disappointing.

What an amazing venue with beach facing large rooms and nice walking around the property. The location is perfect for hosting any social events. The food and service is excellent.

Excellent place to spend the sunset, very recommended to share at the pier in the evening hours ..

If any one is trying to find bargain deals for hotels go over to . reserved a hotel room on there and these guys had the best prices anywhere!

Extremely friendly environment with absolutely beautiful pool area! Across street from beach with there own beach area. They upgraded me to the biggest room on 17th floor! I would definitely stay here again!

Hyatt halt.top .leider is clearwatet beach totally overcrowded. The small romantic hotels meanwhile had to give way to the big hotel castles. Is closely in clearwater beach. But the hotel has been in a prime location for a long time.

One of the best experiences on Clearwater Beach. The staff from the moment you walk in are first class, the champagne upon welcome is a great touch. The rooms are very modern and spacious. The pool bar on the 8th floor is a must, the sunsets are some of the best I've seen. This is a MUST SEE on any visit to Clearwater.

Watch out on the hidden fees after you leave. Staff wouldn't tell you parking is billed to you after the visit but they make sure you use your room key to park. I'm already paying to stay here. I could have park next door for a quarter what I had to paid Hyatt.
I wouldn't recommend a stay here.

Fantastic hotel, amazing views of Clearwater Beach and Pier 60 opposite, close to bars and restaurants, lots of amenities. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great hotel, great service, amazing ocean view from all sides.

The facility is just not that great. It is like a Best Western but with more stories. The parking fees are $20. You could go out to eat at a moderately priced restaurant for what it costs to park at the Hyatt.

My family took a week long trip for the first time to Clearwater a few weeks ago. We enjoyed the Hyatt and found it clean upscale and a great staff. The suite was amazing with great ocean views from the master and pool views from the 2nd bedroom. I wish they had more than 1 restaurant, but Shor was great and has a nice view of the ocean. Their pool staff was very attentive and the maid service did an outstanding job.

We had a 2 bedroom suite. It had a full kitchen and dining area, 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms (1 king, 2 queens), and a sleeper sofa. Very comfortable for my group of 7. Coveniently located across from the beach. The Shor restaurant had great food and service! We would definitely stay again!

Older place remodeled but had a full kitchen, living room, and separate sleep area with a walk in closet. Only about a block & a half from the beach. Will definitely be staying there again!

I attended for training. The hotel seems very nice and very clean. Lots of amenities.

This hotel is great! The people at the desk are so kind and generous. I love how the room keys are on a wrist band which makes it more likely not to be lost. There is a great restaurant on the 2nd floor and a little shop. Also the pool was great with an AMAZING ocean view. There is a restaurant in the pool with really good drinks and food. The rooms are super nice and clean. Everything looks new and TV is big. The room gets cleaned daily with good care. The hotel is super nicely designed and is super modern. 100% recommend!!

The hotel is average at best. They claim that they recently remodeled all of the rooms however they forgot half of the room. It s still very outdated and worn. We had to switch rooms upon arrival to find one that was acceptable. There are many nice hotels on the strip which are newer. We will not be back to the Hyatt. Also the service is lacking. We rented 4 cabanas by the pool And no one came to serve drinks or food. They have a lot of work to do. Not horrible but I can not recommend. Especially if you are used to top notch hotels and service this will not make the cut.

Very nice beach with beautiful thin white sand. The water was inviting and the atmosphere was that of families enjoying a nice day. I will be returning in the near future.
