Very low quality professors who judge students not on their performance, but on their opinion of students. If you want to study applied sciences you should look for a different school. Most HvA schools, including AMFI and ESP, offer poor quality education. I hope they read this and realize that they need improvements badly.
worst system of teaching, I have never seen such bad math teaching skills, and they have the worst math teachers. There were times the math teacher did not know how to solve some questions. I hope they change their math grading system
We have given up. Wanted to Build and environment Are busy from mid December. Mission impossible. We have opted for something else for now. A pity. Seems like a good school
Had one of the best times in my life there. I always felt at home there and I feel great. The quality of the curriculum and teachers is super!
I request emerging students to exclude the Hogeschool van Amsterdam from their choice of study. I don't have a good word for it anymore. The communication and support of teachers is terrible. When you actually need help, no one is there for you. Even mentors who don't respond to emails and phone calls. You really feel powerless.
Very bad school. There is hardly any depth in the curriculum, the communication is not good, you are expected to find out everything yourself ... Very unfortunate. There are also many projects and collaboration assignments, where it is up to you to motivate your group. Some teachers are enthusiastic, but their actions are limited by the school in order to actually arrange things for you. I do not recommend this school to future students.
Really a Too bad educational institution .... Hardly any guidance at all levels. As a student you will not be heard at all ...
You can see that much is being rebuilt and renewed, the result is good.
Beautiful building and nice people. You can also eat there and there are clean toilets.
When the fuel cafe still existed, I enjoyed a good cup of coffee with pleasure and confidence. Unfortunately there is now another company (espresso bar) where a rude lady (Esmeralda) works. Often she suddenly walks away and there is a very long line waiting for an order. From her working process I can see that no attention is paid to hygiene! Too bad, you can get a lot more customers if you hire professional baristas!
A place to learn and grow as a person. Greets to all the students...
Finished with aviation studies in 2011 still no job in aviation in 2020 people beware of the nice talk of HVA!
DRAMA! Organization not in order. Should be an example for the students at the Pabo (example function). I sincerely hope that I don't have to be in my future field like that (what chaos). Motivation is missing to complete the training. In these times (teacher shortage) that is really a shame. The above detracts greatly from the passion and enthusiasm that some teachers have for the subject they teach, too bad.
Learned a lot here. Had a great time. Thanks for everything!

I graduated here and I was only too happy about that. Finally out of this terrible institution that calls itself a school. Things are terribly badly arranged and students are not listened to. Another point where the school scores poorly are the prices in the canteen, which are usually higher than the appie to go at the station (!), And this is a canteen meant for students! As a student you are simply sucked empty in your own school. Precisely here, prices should be low and no profit should be made here. Instead of a commercial company. Another matter is the workshop in the basement. This is old fashioned and unsafe. Something that should not be possible in a modern school like HvA! In addition, the staff here are very unfriendly. DLWO is a drug that has already spent way too much money and still does not work. You get that as people who don't know what to do to send other people to put together a website. In that respect, students from different disciplines could help achieve a good product. Now a number of people are going to interfere with this who have eaten cheese and that creates a cost item of millions. The same goes for SIS!
Equipped with everything needed. However, it is a dated property. A renovation will not go wrong. Addition to the review. Today I was stuck in the elevator for half an hour. This was completely inspected in 2016. Time for maintenance perhaps ....
Here I studied Aviation. The study itself is good, but not with one subject. Little account is taken of private circumstances and the focus is on mass education. Mentor is of little use, I would rather choose Inholland than HvA.
Had a good time her for 4 years. Not perfect but what university is these days. I don t regret coming here for my degree, time well spent in a good learning environment.
Horrible communication and not thinking with students. Just here to take your money
Nothing more than the truth! You do not have the option to pay per class, if you still have to follow 1 course you still pay the full rate. (even if you do an internship or whatever!) bag fillers!
Very bad experiences with the HBO-ICT Cyber Security training. Not recommended.
+ The teachers are often chill + The location is chill - Teachers are anything but neutral when it comes to politics, especially a Green-Left / D66 school
The HvA is a pretty decent institution. They have some difficulty with IT systems (such as grades, tent registrations, etc.), but the education is good. However, the HvA is very much its own commitment, where you need to go after support yourself if you need help.
Easily accessible by public transport. The new Wibaut house is beautiful, but it is a maze. Restaurant has good and tasty food. There is a new Spar and the AH is across the street. A lot of independence is expected, but that's just the HBO. Communication to and from students can and should be better and faster.
Good college, 1 minute walk from the Amstel station, a good cafeteria and enough modern amenities.
Good looking school, which is easily accessible by public transport. In addition, there are many shops around the building where you can get food, always handy. The prices in the canteen are a bit on the high side.
