Visited a friend who is temporarily residing here. There are dozens of reasons why people are living here some by choice others by circumstance. My friend was here by circumstance. He was not completely comfortable there given his life situation. The few staff I interacted with seemed compassionate. The facility itself seemed decent. At the same time my friend was not in a content place and as such I cannot rate this higher than a 3/5.

My family member was a resident here but passed away recently. I liked the staff with the exception of one nurse. She worked the evening shift on 1/5/2018. I called the nurses desk on the evening my family member passed, to ask some questions. This nurse didn't answer my questions, was sarcastic, and offered no condolences for my loss. On previous visits I had encountered her and felt uncomfortable; there is more to being a nurse than just passing nursing school and the NCLEX. There are some other great nurses there though. One other issue is not answering call buttons in a timely manner. My family member said sometimes the wait would be 20 minutes; I witnessed it being 45 minutes on one occasion myself, so who knows what the average wait time is. If I had to recommend this place to someone placing their loved one I probably would, but monitor their loved ones care closely.
