Chad Dearmore worked very hard to find the best property that met all of the criteria I was looking for as an owner/user. He was great to work with and communicated well throughout the process and always kept me informed and provided invaluable insight. I would recommend Chad to anyone looking for help with commercial property.

Susan Dunst with Commercial Properties has put us through hell and back since day of signing our lease.

In my 20yrs of doing business I've never worked with a property manager that simply does not call back and never helps us get anything done.

It is the worst experience I've ever had with anyone in business......

I have complained to upper management several times with no change in the situation.

Thank you to Chad Dearmore who got us through a very complicated property sale! He made sure we understood each issue every step of the way, and kept a very positive attitude about it. We closed with all parties happy with the outcome :)

First week of February :

First week of February :

Good: Decent company to deal with. I've been renting from these guys for about 2 and a half years now. Eric Jones is AWESOME and if it weren't for him I wouldn't have rented from this company again. He was extremely professional and prompt while working with me on both of my leases.

Bad: Rudy Patai is the most rude and unprofessional property manager that I've ever had to deal with in my years of commercial renting. My opinion is shared by more than one other tenant as well. He's been my property manager throughout my previous 2+ years and he is currently my property manager now. He never responds when you contact him about an issue with your unit and you can never get ahold of him. Once you finally do talk to him then his responses and demeanor are very poor and vague, not personable AT ALL. Eric is in sales but I've contacted him about some of the issues and he jumped right on them. I currently have 2 deposits with this company, one on my old Suite and the deposit on my current Suite (my first lease ended over 1 month ago). I contacted Rudy numerous times about the return of my deposit and he was in no hurry to close out that lease. He told me that there was no law stating that my deposit had to be returned in a certain amount of time. You would think that he would have some sense of urgency given the fact that I rented a new unit with the company, but no. That's only a few of the problems that I've had with him but I won't go on.

We'll see how the next 3 years go.

2 weeks later :

Rudy never contacted me about my frustrations and concerns. I believe the main staple of his position is customer service and he is the absolute worst at it. I received an email from him today but it wasn't to resolve any matters with my suite. He was addressing some issues about my business. This is my reality and I will continue to share it and give a real POV when it comes to this company.

Cecil Yates responded to my Google review with a bunch of irrelevant speech in reference to the problems at hand. He reached out to me a couple of days later and said that my frustrations are being addressed. He also wrote down a list of other pre-existing concerns that I've had with my suite and continue to have today, as none of them have been corrected. Cecil said that he would email me and have the issues resolved, not true. I never received an email from him and none of the issues have been resolved, lip service. Hopefully this nightmare will be taken care of soon.

Darin Edwards did a great job renegotiating my current commercial lease. He not only negotiated my lease at a lower rate but was consistent with regards to keeping me informed throughout the process. He also showed me other spaces for rent as alternative options. Working with Darin was a pleasure. I recommend him to anyone for their real estate needs.

I've only had the most positive experiences with CPI! They are top notch experts in their industry. I've known Leroy & several of his associates for years and enjoy working with him & his team on a regular basis. They are simply the best at what they do!

This company is poorly managed. Rented a commercial space from them, after a year they let a gym move in next door to my office, they played the loudest bassy rap music you could imagine every day from 7am to 8pm. The bass was so loud it would shake a glass of water on my desk like Jurassic Park. The space was un-usable after, had to move suffered some losses. Never once met the property manager, never had any prompt responses from building manager, they were always 'in between' managers. No one trustworthy to deal with, they're running the property into the ground with their mismanagement. The company is big, impersonal, untrustworthy, tricky, and sleazy. Just remember if you contact an agent there they don't represent you they represent CPI, they're not looking out for the tenant. Got the director of property management Brad on the phone, very short sighted and ineffective as a leader not to mention dismissive and wholly inept, where did he get his degree? No management capabilities. There's no talented management at CPI and no leader that cares about the company. I think the company is just so big they have somewhat of a monopoly on cheap commercial rentals in Tempe and that's the only reason they exist. The property managers, agents, and top leadership are poorly trained. This is a bottom of the barrel company, seems like the type of company someone inherited and then let go to waste. If you're a perspective tenant turn around, if you're a landlord looking for property management RUN!

Our building was sold and this company is the new property manager. Absolutely terrible company. No care for the COVID-19 precautions and businesses trying to get employees back to their offices. We will not be renewing our lease.

They Say, "If You Can't Beat Em', Join Them!" As A Local Google Guide, I Have Seen, Many Of Properties And Their Real Estate Signatures. However, No Matter Where My, 'And1', Shoes Took Me...We Always Ran Into Their Name On Great Properties.

The individuals and managers at CPI are top notch and best in the industry. I deal regularly with their property management department and have witnessed first hand their attention to detail, organization and efficiency. Niki, Matt, Elizabeth, Laurel & Jodette are amazing individuals with whom I've had the pleasure of working with on a regular basis and think very highly of. Their sales/leasing team is also best in class!!!

Horrible waste of my time! I called Leroy a few months ago after seeing a property on loopnet. I had to leave a message since he never answers but after he called me back he told me he could find what I needed.... Here is a shorter version of what happened.
1. I was immediately handed off to Kelli who seemed miserable to be working there then I was given a long list of "possibilities"
2. They immediately crossed off 90% of The list because "those ones don't have AC"
3. I was told there was no way building owners would do tenant improvements because the market was "hot"
4. I was finally offered a showing two weeks later
5. Showings were rushed beyond belief
6. Leroy tried telling me that tenant improvements would take at least 5 months with how busy everything is.. this is where I started really scratching my head since I could have one scheduled tomorrow
7. Leroy then had the balls to try and tell me that there was no way I would get anything less than a 5 year lease. He must have thought I'm an idiot..
8. I left that building and saw another one he didn't have on the list so I called that sign. The agent showed up and met me within 30 minutes and then within a week had found me properties, toured them with me, and even submitted an LOI

I just signed the lease on one of the properties Leroy told me he couldn't get me and I'm moving in mid January after $40k in tenant improvements are completed. Oh and it's a 3yr lease with a month rent $500 below anything these guys put in front of me.

Do not waste your time here and be just another commission for them, they wasted almost four weeks of mine.

I was a tenant with CPI for 13 years. We always paid our rent on time and improved our space dramatically over the years. My overall experience with CPI was a less than desirable one - they are extremely bad about communication and for charging tenants bogus fees. If I were looking to lease or purchase a commercial space in the Phoenix area I would use another commercial property specialist, one that values tenants. Attached are photos of our space.

Working with Leroy & Alicia was awesome. FInding the right location can be arduous and time consuming. Leroy made finding the location fast and easy as he listened to my wants and needs. Alicia made the paper side of the process smooth and efficient. They were both very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Tyson, Tyler and the rest of the team were absolutely BRILLIANT in helping us find our new space. They were careful to listen, they had a HUGE database that they helped us sort through, they handled ALL of the leg work with the various property owners and ultimately helped us get a KILLER deal on our lease. Do yourself a favor and use these guys -- I would recommend them all the way!

I have been with Commercial Properties for over 10 plus years. I have always paid my rent timely and have had no issues up until now. I contacted CPI in May and informed them I have had a bad accident and had to close my office and requested their help. I received a nasty response stating the lease was my responsibility. I again tried to reach out to them in September and scheduled a meeting begging for their assistance. Finally, a meeting was scheduled for today at 11am. I drove over 40 miles to get to the meeting and no one showed up. I waited for over 25 minutes. The receptionist said he called emailed and texted but got no response. At 12:53 I received the following response Carrie: I m so sorry I wasn t here to meet you. I was at a meeting at a property and ended up with a building emergency and forgot that you were coming. I am sincerely sorry. Please note there is no date to reschedule the meeting. I have never worked with such unprofessional people before. The company has grown over the past 10 years. If you are a small business STAY AWAY!!!! This company is not suited to handle small to med size business. The level of communication is extremely poor, and they are totally disrespectful of others time. There is only 6 months left on my lease. You would think after 10+ years I could at least get a meeting. I feel totally disrespected as a loyal customer. CPI does not care about its customers! I have never written a bad reference but feel that I must let other businesses know this is definitely NOT the place to take your business!
