Went into the pre-owned show room (Huntington Honda West) last night to look at a car, after a test drive we sat down to make a deal.
The car was listed on the website for a given price but when I informed them that I was paying cash i was told that a $1995 fee was to be added to the listed price! They said the it was a promotion, only if I financed the car for 5 years at a given interest rate yada yada yada. To me a promotion is when you get something not get charged for paying cash!
Then the sales guy says "well it got you in the door", worst thing he could have ever said to me. Needless to say I walked never to return.

We have been a "Honda family" (including my wife and I and each of our four children now with their own Hondas), for many years (since 1997), and my brother and his family for many years prior and have been and continue to be pleased with our Honda vehicles. That said, last year our daughter in 2019 and we in early March of this year, 2020 each getting new Hondas, had our first experiences with Huntington Honda. We having lived on both "coasts" have had diverse "Honda" purtchasing experiences (all generally good). Generally I am not one to document "public endorcements" however I can honestly admit that Huntington Honda went "all the way" to meet and exceed our already high expectations that we have come to know from Honda, it is clearly no suprise that they are rated as a Number one Honda dealership in the region, if not nationally. Many thanks to all those who have served us so very well there; they have much to be proud of.

Bought a used car which has faced numerous issues and went into Huntington Honda to get a quote. The dealer I dealt with I don t remember his name. He was beyond pushy even though I said I couldn t buy or lease a car that day. He ended up getting his manager who was one of the rudest people I ve ever encountered and said I could get a lease for 179 a month. I asked him to write it down. The manager then told the dealer to give me a piece of paper so I could write it down. I insisted he write it down and he told me No you write it down. That s not how we roll . I then left. Very poor customer service skills from both the dealer and manager. Very dissatisfied.

My husband and I purchased a 2020 CRV yesterday, and we can't say enough about the service we received. From the time we walked in the previous day till we drove away the next day, everyone was courteous, professional & wanting to help. I would like to point out that our salesman, Marcin was excellent. His knowledge of the vehicle and patience with me, was amazing. His willingness to negotiate the price & our trade-in, made us feel like we were very important.
Now onto our finance rep. Omar. He also was knowledgeable in his field, courteous and patient with me. Omar pointed out some financing tips to our benefit. In closing, if you are looking for a new car, go to Huntington Honda and ask for Marcin (sales) & Omar (finance).

I want start off by saying that I m so appreciative of the staff at Huntington Honda! They went ABOVE and BEYOND to get me into my CR-V. I presented my situation to them and they immediately began problem solving and helped me come up with the best solution. My salesman, Jason who was with me every step of the way. Charles and Dashon who are both AMAZING and were there to answer all of my questions and Andre who stepped in to make sure the car was delivered to perfection. I would recommend them and any of the salesman, who were all working extremely hard each time I came into the showroom. It was very apparent that they were all knowledgeable and took the time to help all customers. Please get your car from them!!! They deserve more than five stars!!!

Needed a car for my son and walked in into this dealer thinking about running into a typical used car salesman. You know the type, greasy hair combed back and a lot of jewelry. To my surprise I met this guy named Z , he was hard to understand but the nicest guy and willing to listen. He referred me to Gary, a young kid very knowledgeable and a big smile. Talk about a great day; I wanted to trade-in my 2010 Ford Taurus SHO, and my boyfriend needed to have some issues corrected on his 'Used' Honda Civic which was purchased 6 months ago at this same dealership with the same salesperson (Josh), so this was my opportunity and it was perfect timing.

My boyfriend Steve and I arrive at Huntington Honda for his 9 am service appointment (the service department from what I've heard from him is 'very nice and accommodating'). We walk in the front door and Josh happened to be standing right there to greet us. He walked outside with me to check out my current vehicle/ trade-in in order to gather information from me, which I commend him a lot for covertly completing the 'boring' side of purchasing a vehicle by having me focus completely on what I was looking for, I was in and out in no time. Maybe the quick process is just a common theme with Honda because of the quality of the car, I wouldn't know because this will be the first time I no longer own a Ford or Chevy, and IM SO EXCITED!

Josh is an excellent guy to buy a car from, UNLESS you love being rushed, pushed, shoved, fast-talked to, intimidated, confused, manipulated, coerced, lied and forced by a salesman --than he isn't your guy. He just makes buying a car seem like child's play. He is very laid back, probably because he is confident in the cars he sells and the company he works for. I would say that is a good sign about whether or not to trust the product and service by the attitude of the employee(s).

I am just really happy and can not wait to trade my car in (they are getting it ready for me :):):):):):):):)

Efficient drop off and delivery. Pleasant employees. Convenient ride provided back to my home so I didn t have to wait. I believe this is the fourth time my Honda accord hybrid has had a tire replaced since I purchased it new almost 2 years ago. The tires do not hold up on the road, but Honda provided a tire warranty that covers them in full for a limited time. I m very worried about what happens when the warranty runs out.
At least twice I ve had to go back because the tire pressure computer was not reset properly after replacing a damaged tire. Today I dropped it off to have the front left tire checked because of a slow leak and it was returned to me stating that the back tire was changed. I guess I ll see what happens very soon.
I love the comfort of my car and it s convenient features- and of course the incredible 40mpg. The tires are a problem and I have asked for a solution but have been offered none.

Julio Martinez went above and beyond to get me a great price on the vehicle. When I arrived, I met with Julio Martinez and he did nothing but exceed expectations in making me feel comfortable, explaining all of the Honda products and accessories, and getting all the minor issues addressed with the car prior to the purchase. If you are looking to get a great deal on a new Accord and want the easiest car buying experience that you have ever had, do not make a purchase until you speak with Julio Martinez of Huntington Honda. My wife and I just recently came by here to help our son buy his first real car after college and everything went fantastic. They responded to my inquiry immediately, then the salesperson Z got back to me quickly and when we met him he was very personable and attentive, not pushy, very easy to work with. Then he was very good when my son test drove the car and helped answer all of our questions. The finance manager Anthony was exceptional, very thorough, and I believe he tried hard to give us the best deal with very good advice. Things went very quickly and smoothly, very friendly. Now my son has a great car that he loves and is safe and reliable, and I feel excellent about the whole deal. Thank you Huntington Honda, we'll be back!

I came in to Huntington Honda to lease a CRV based on a special I saw on their website. Prior to coming in I spoke with Mike Gross on the phone to ask a few questions because I was going to have to bring my baby with me, and was hopeful I could get in and out of the dealership quickly. Mike was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. When I returned to the dealership to finalize the paperwork and pick up the car, Mike made sure all of the paperwork was prepared in advance so that I could complete the process with ease (especially considering I had my little one with me). From start to finish, I had a wonderful experience working with Mike and I look forward to returning to Huntington Honda to lease from him in the future.

after dealing with bmw and mercedes dealerships and crooked high end crooks at maserati dealership with my last car, i went in to get a hybrid for commuting to work, not expecting much. These people are completely customer oriented. management is focused. i am very impressed by whoever owns this dealership and how they conduct their daily business. employees are all very pleasant and all around helpful and genuine. they have hired the right people for the jobs they have. their service and communication is awesome. i see myself buying more cars here in the future. Good job guys!

I went her to buy a Honda pilot. And the guy that helped me. Told me that in order to lock my deal. I needed to give him something $$. At least 200 buck and I could go home and talk to my wife. Well I ended up calling him and. Told him I would not like to proceed with the process. And to please let me know what I needed to do in order to get my money back. It's been literally a whole month. And I call him every other day. I went there and he had me waiting for 3 f@#king hours. He disappeared. When he came back (from lunch) looked at me surprised like. Ohh sh#t you still here. And just asked me for my credit card. To scan it. And I was out in less than 10 5 mins. Now I keep calling them. And haven't received anything yet. Smh

Walked in to see their used CRVs. the woman salesman we spoke with was nice but tight on the price.offered 24.5k for an EX-L 2015. Quick Google search, no one is selling it at 24. 90 minutes later of working the numbers, right as they were about to run my wife's credit, I found their own advertisement for the same car at 22. And they low balled my trade in by at least 2k. Their greaseball management tried to take me for almost 5k total value cuz they thought they could....not today, Satan. See ya when I see ya. Don't waste your time like I did.

Just an atrocious place, with worse employees. Called for an appointment to fix sensors that failed on my 2 year old lease with less then 8000 miles on it. When I got there I was told that I d have to leave it overnight, despite being previously told they d get it done same day. When I told them I couldn t accommodate that I was told to figure it out. I asked about a curtesy vehicle and was told that s only available if the car needs repairs. Well the sensors are defective and need repairs, the woman behind that counter was short abrasive and rude. I ve leased 5 consecutive vehicles from this dealership, never again.

I was having problems starting my Civic so i made an appointment with the service center on Thursday morning. At 4:30 pm I was told that they didn t even get to look at my car and it would have to stay overnight.

When i dropped my car off, I had a $70 Beatit car jumper sitting in the passenger side. When i got my car back the next day, it was gone. I told my rep at the service center about it but they said they couldn t find it.

Not only did they not look at my car the day I made the appointment with them, they robbed my car. Never ever use Huntington Honda for car repair!!

Negotiated with Huntington Honda as well as 2 other Honda Dealerships for lease on a 2013 Pilot EX-L AWD.

Although I ended up leasing through another Honda dealer, only due to a specific color car's availability, I had an good experience with HH. I worked with salesman AK who immediately gave me a competitive quote, answered my many questions, negotiated in a calm, professional manner and gave me the information I requested.

I also worked with Brandon, who responded to all my emails in a timely manner, which made my process easier.

I previously purchased a 2004 Honda Pilot from Huntington Honda and also had a good experience and will continue to work with HH in the future.

But that doesnt mean if you walk in there they are going to give a car for cost. You still need to be prepared, talk to multiple dealers and understand all the costs. If you dont ask the question, you wont get the answer. You also need to be prepared to not buy a car..................

I regret ever buying a car with this dealership. . . I rather pay for a oil change instead of getting free oil change . Always short staff even when you make a appointment you have to wait 2-3hrs just for a oil change.. Ask them a month ago to order a screw for my left mirror,still hasn t fixed it yet ..Try to charge me $130(+tax) for a wheel ailment went to Mavis Discount Tire got it done for $65. .YUP DEFINITELY TRIED TO ROB ME. . . Mechanic guys are in the back drinking Arizona s & conversing .. . Wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy ...Goodluck if you decide to purchase a vehicle from either location in Huntington ny !

This was the worst car leasing experience I have had. My salesman was friendly and I believe he did the best possible job he could do. My problem lies with the business model Huntington Honda uses as a whole. They offered me a lease deal, took part of the down payment, and shook my hand agreeing to said deal before checking if they were actually able to offer it to me. Only after all of the previously mentioned items were done did they tell me I could not get the deal agreed upon and they significantly increased the price, effectively trapping me in a deal I did not and would not have agreed to. Any responsible organization would know about what the interested party qualifies for and they should only offer deals that they are able to fulfill for that particular customer. I would highly advise anyone in the market for a Honda to go to any other dealership.

Very satisfied with this dealer. Let me tell you, I've been through many dealers in N.Y.. Many lie, convince you into things you don't want, pressure you to sign, and want nothing to do with you after it's done. Not these guys. Everything every single thing I'm satisfied with the process. Got taken care of by the manager. Gave me a really great deal on the price. Got everything I wanted, superb quality, and love the car!

Kazim the finance manager was very professional and accommodating and got us the best interest rate possible and got us approved as we were worried about due to our credit.

Shohel my sales person was very professional and made sure every thing was take care of.

I got exactly the color I wanted gunmetal, exl, every thing perfect. Threw in floor mats as I asked and complementary wheel locks and car wash. They followed up after to see if everything was good and it was!

Very satisfied with everything. The deal. Car. I even asked so many questions, especially about the numbers, I was sure I was being annoying, but they were very patient and understanding and answered and explained everything until I was good and clear on everything.

It is very worth the commute from out of state, and even to pay a little more to be taken care by honest professional people like this dealer then be screwed and mistreated by your local mom and pop shop car dealer. I highly recommend them to you!

So surprisingly I read a review and someone said go to Jose he's very genuine and will try his hardest to work with a customer. That's exactly what we did, he went to Jose and he tried his hardest and worked closed to Jen and they made a miracle happen.. They are very helpful I suggest anybody go here. He's enjoying his car so much and has barely drove it.

I brought a Honda Pilot touring recently, I also brought remote starter and extended warranty at the time of purchase. But instead of honda genuine they gave aftermarket remote starter and useless third party warranty without telling us. We realized that it is third party warranty only after when we planned to sell this car. The shocking part is the Finance department did not mention they are selling third party warranty during the purchase. This warranty won't cover any entertainment package.
We went to Huntington Finance department to cancel the warranty and to get the refund. The Finance manager Mohammed cancel the warranty and he said that you must have to read every single lines of the paper you signed. But it is very hard to find out this is third party warranty from their paper. He agreed that we will get the refund within 2 weeks, but still we did not hear anything from them or get the money back. It's been more than a month now. When I call them about this, they wanted us to bring all the papers again and they act like they don't know nothing about this.
Customers please beware of this dealer and their dirty games. I will never go to this dealer or buy Honda in my life.

My Family and I visited this dealership last night and we had a horrible experience. The issues started before we even got in the door. One of the salespeople was whipping a new car at about 30MPH through the lot and almost side swiped us. The showroom was somewhat busy and it seemed like disorganized chaos. It took about 15 minutes before someone greeted us but what was worse was the way were handled during our visit. Right out of the gate the salesman asked for our keys to review our trade in. This is typical when they don t want you leaving the dealership too quickly when they try to low ball you on a trade-in. I reluctantly gave the salesman my keys and maintained an open mind. We test drove the vehicle which went fine. The salesmen then started working numbers on the four square sheet (this is a good indication you ll be getting screwed) and started putting information on it. This is when I knew it was time to get up, I ended the conversation abruptly and asked for my keys. Shockingly - there was a delay so the (rude and inexperienced) Sales Manager could take one more crack at low balling a trade while attempting to work off MSRP for the sale, Ridiculous! Stay away! This place is run by a bunch of inexperienced HS kids! .

Just picked up my 3rd Honda from Huntington in 4 years. When you walk in the dealership, you are working with sales professionals who actually want to sell cars and not play games. Prices and deals are aggressive and fair! I was also impressed with my salesperson s knowledge of the car, which was displayed during the final walkthrough and technology tutorial. Who knew Preet keeps a Lightning Cable in his pocket for the Apple CarPlay demo!!! This place has my business going forward for all things Honda!

Huntington Honda is the dealership that preys on and exploits the uninformed consumers for their hard earned money. This was such a horrible experience that I want to break down my visit to their dealership in detail.

There were no positives in this visit.

I waited 30 mins for my appointment and never received an apology from the staff and I was assigned a different salesperson from the person I spoke with on the phone.

The salesperson never even introduced his name to us nor was he interested in knowing our names. Fifteen minutes in and I still don't know who this guy is until I had to ask for his name, Tayshaun.

After the test drive, Tayshaun gives us two finance options we're interested in. In order to qualify for the 1.9 APR Honda promo, you must pay full sticker MSRP price.

Here's the next option. In order to get their discount price, you MUST finance with Honda but you cannot finance with an outside bank/credit union.

I had spoken with another sales rep on the phone before my appointment and both of these options contradicted our conversation!

I shoot Tayshaun a low offer to test the waters and he continues stating that ANY dealer discount Huntington gives needs to be financed with them. Tayshaun then moves quickly about making a deposit on my offer without providing any offer in writing.

We walked away asap. Went to another dealer and got my Honda at a significant discount with the 1.9 APR promo.

My salesman for my first lease was not my favorite which is my I m not 5/5 but the second time around was a completely different experience. Now I m a returning customer and they stepped it up my second time around. Good people over at Huntington Honda.

Do not go here. I cannot stress this enough. If you have to do not work with Sergio. He has very unsavory and almost illegal business practices. He spoke of getting me a false document just to try to move forward with the sale. There's a lot of pressure once you walk in to keep moving forward with very little time to think. The salesmen here are almost ruthless when they aren't hovering over you. I put a deposit down and was told I could call and cancel it if I do wish. I chose to cancel. When I called Sergio claimed he'd call me right back and of course; he did not. When I called the next morning it's " you have to come in to cancel it. We can't cancel over the phone". I broke down in tears in the dealership because it was just such an awful experience of one person saying this and another saying this. Please don't go here and don't work with Sergio if you have to get a car here. Also be careful if you say you'll work with Brennan; he'll just pas you off to Sergio. And do not give them your card. I had to actually ask for my card back before I left and had to walk back in for a receipt. I wish I could give negative stars.

Shoppers beware!!!! I ve been a loyal Honda customer for ten years. What I thought would be a seamless experience turned out to be a huge waste of time. I had a horrible experience here. I went there to trade in my lease and before driving there from Brooklyn New York with my eight month old child I extensively spoke to Elijah an employee that works there. I gave him details about the type of business I wanted to conduct with exact numbers, what my current lease was, mileage, credit score etc. He assured me that Huntington Honda could and would accommodate me via telephone and text message. Elijah called and followed up for over two weeks until I finally came in to meet with someone. When I came in I spoke to the dealer Andre about that same information and he said that shouldn t be a problem. They had me test drive the vehicle, provide my information just to tell me that the manager said that my pricing request would never happen. I was dissapointed, the presidential hotline/corporate office for Honda will be hearing about this horrible experience.
