I had a very bad experience . I did change my belt as asked by Huntington honda , since then 2 items related to that belt went bad . My power steering pump and my ac .
NB . I had no problem before . Not even want that belt change . I did it just to prevent problems as i have been told . Big mistake

I have always loved coming for service at Huntington Honda- mostly because the people were always so nice. However, yesterday s experience was a whole new level of customer service. A service rep came and met me at my car, escorted me inside, and walked me through the whole experience. I was pressed for time and they made sure I got out when promised. The waiting space has room to sit at a desk and get some work done. There were even complimentary bagels and coffee out for us. I honestly feel corny saying this, but the people at Huntington Honda are the best. Really great! Makes me so glad I own a Honda!!!

I've trained hundreds of car salespeople and worked in many dealerships. This is, BY FAR, the worst dealership I've ever step foot in. I walked around the dealership for a good 15 minutes without being greeted. Then when I was finally greeted, I was driven in the wrong car. I went in to find a simple sedan to drive around town. I didn't really want to spend a lot of money since it was just a car to get from A to B. I found a civic listed at $12,500 and they told me that this was after a $2,000 down payment. The ad said that it was a full cash price (I was paying cash). They wouldn't honor it. The salesperson told me that they can't honor ads on third party sites (CarGuru) and that anyone could have posted the ad. This was a flat out lie. The dealership posts the ads on CarGuru, Autotrader, Etc. themselves and I know this for a fact because I've helped dealerships write them. The salesman was new so he might not have known but you can't post an ad for "full cash price" and then tell me that it reflects a $2,000 down payment. That's basically the definition of false advertising. There are plenty of other dealerships that are actually up front and honest on Long Island. Pick one of them and avoid this place at all costs.

We came in on Saturday 8/31 to test drive and get a quote on a new Honda Accord. We did our research and knew what a fair value was for this car. The dealership exceeded our expectations by finding us a salesperson immediately and having all the models we wanted on the lot to test drive. They gave us an excellent price that beat what we expected. In all it took probably half a day to get this wrapped up. The only thing they could have done better (why I dropped it 1 star) was to be more upfront on the trade-in value of our vehicle. They quoted us a range which we thought was fair but when we brought the car in they halved the promised value. We were upfront on the quality so expected the quoted value to be honored. I guess next time we should have gotten it in writing.

I had coupons for 29.95 oil change and a 10% coupon for any service they took off the 10% but never gave me to 29.95 oil change. They said they couldn't use both. But when I left my car they were supposed to be using both. I was deceived.

August 2, 2018-My original post is listed below. The sales experience was very good BUT the service experience today was terrible. Went in for an oil change at 15,575 miles, pitched a 15,000 mile service for $300+ definitely felt pressured by the service writer. Then I get a call that the cabin air filter is dirty and not covered under the service, quoted $92 to change it for a part that is <$20. That's a rip off in my book. Needless to say I won't be back for my next Honda from them
The following was POSTED August 2016 - This is my second purchase from Huntington Honda of NY. They negotiated fairly, even met the lower price I received from Costco Auto buyers program. Very helpful throughout the process. No high pressure tactics by the salesman, Ben Canarick or the finance representative, Michael Fiorillo. Both of them were very professional. I would highly recommend the dealership and the sales department.

From 2010-2016 I leased Honda cars with little to no issues at all. Upon returning my 2013 Honda Civic I made the decision (admittedly ill-advised) to go with another company/dealership completely. After fulfilling my latest four year commitment I was led back to Honda - specifically the dealership in Huntington thanks to Jen Curtin, a close friend and Business Manager. The sales, management, and finance staff were professional, patient, and passionate about their job and it was reflected in the experience they gave my wife and I. We are expecting our third child this July and the team of Marcin Malachowski (Sales & Leasing Consultant), Shaikh Mohammad (General Sales Manager), and Bilal Shaikh (Business Manager) were able to go "above and beyond" to get us in a 2020 Honda Pilot. The process was informational, stress-free, and friendly the whole way through. We plan on returning in several months to lease a second car with this group! Thank you Huntington Honda, we are grateful for your service.

Summary: good deals will get you through the door, but make sure you double check everyones work. Every one is rushed and chances of making a mistake are increased at this location. Use caution when getting advice for service.

I have experienced varying levels of service at Huntington Honda, mostly leaning towards the negative. Often the service coupon I show when dropping off my vehicle does not get reflected on the summary sheet when picking up and the last time I picked up my vehicle I was not provided with the multipoint inspection checklist. A visual inspection was performed on tread and a few fingers were stuck inside my rims to indicate how much brake pad I had left, with a recommendation to replace pads and tires. After swapping out the brakes on my own, I definitely had at least a year of use remaining on brakes and had a good amount of tread remaining. I had dropped off my vehicle, didn t hear back all day and had to call an hour from closing to find out that they will try to squeeze my car in before closing.

Most recently, I went back to give them another chance to correct this experience and the oil & filter change coupon was attractive to get me back in there. I dropped off before 8 AM, waited by the parts desk to get some transmission fluid and was helped at around 810am with my purchase. With the experience last time, I figured it would take all day so I coordinated alternate travel to work. At 8:44 am, after arriving to work already, I was called that my vehicle was ready and informed on work needed to be done on my vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised with how fast things were done but annoyed that I could have hung around and saved some hassle of family members to drive me to and from work.... I picked up a bit before 6 PM, waited a bit as someone was being trained on splitting a transaction on two credit cards (that was fine, I learned something too) and when it was time to pay, again my coupon was not reflected on the summary sheet despite indicating it when dropping off. Turns out it was an error by the person taking my car in by putting it on the wrong line and it wasn t getting added into the final dollar amount. What I found odd about the interaction with this higher ranking team member was the comfort level was very high without really knowing me.. called his partner an idiot for messing up, talked about how all the staff molest him and touch each other, and forgot who was helping me out and tried to pass the paperwork to anyone within sight. I get that it was towards the end of the day, but the behavior was odd and unbecoming of a senior employee.

I performed a walk through of my vehicle (cleaned it before dropping off, similar to brushing your teeth before going to the dentist haha...) and found everything acceptable - a greasy palm print on the drivers side door gets a pass... but my level of annoyance only rose when I saw someone tampered with my dash cam. Someone took the time to pull out the wires powering the unit and the gps locator from a really tight space. It was annoying to put back in, but more importantly, this action could have caused damage to my appliance. I had not requested maintenance on my dash cam....

Overall; they do good service. I advise caution when getting any service recommendations from the sales staff as my experiences have indicated they are exaggerated and at times unnecessary. What ever happened to selling the right product to the customer? A sale cannot just be a sale... that is surely not the way to get returning service! I hope things improve as a result of this feedback.

I LOVE this Honda Service Station. I have never had a problem, they don't bait you with one price and then change it. If there is something found that can change the price they always let you know. My only service man is Andrew G. He knows his stuff and will be honest with you. I've been going here since I got the car in 2015. I just moved to Maryland and honestly I would rather drive 200 + miles to know my car is in good hands. Btw anyone saying they want process for basic things you can online on their site and it has a scheduler that will give you a basic Priceline on a lot of things. This place is professional, efficient and hands down the best Honda Service Station

sales people are very nice and helpful . But I had one of the worst experience of my life with their service department, all they need your money. I'm a customer since 2006, still my family and I have 4 cars from them, but the service people have no respect for a loyal long time customer. I had to visit their service 3 times last month for same reason, but not fixed yet . Each time they were charging me saying different reasons even I have warranty.
Also, Honda customer service is not properly responding about my complain. They gave me a case number and next day the case manager left a message to call her. Since then I'm calling and leaving message everyday, but she or anyone never returned my call.
I never expect such kind of service from Huntington Honda's service and such ignoring and irresponsible treatment from Honda service customer service.

The CRV that I leased there is much nicer than the Nissan, Buick, and Toyota that I had also tried at Other dealerships.
But I ended up spending four hours there on a Wed night, and four hours there again on the next night, just to finalize the deal.
THAT was ridiculous and infuriating!! I have very good credit, I had cash in hand, and this entire process still took eight hours.
I m very happy with the CRV. But I should not have had to spend eight hours to lease it. I literally was ready to cancel the deal, keep my old car, And walk out the door!!

Went in for an oil change on a well-maintained 2012 Accord. Was told I needed ball joints and accepted that, with tire rotation, alignment, multi-point check, rebalancing et al > $1000. Next few days when hitting 40-50 mph, steering and front end massively shake. Brought it back - they rebalanced the tires and another multi-point check (all else is well), so shaking stopped. Next day there are brand new serious noises at front and back driver side making it questionable to drive. AAA towed to our local mechanic. So now left front axle seal is leaking (we KNOW this is related to the ball joint job - would they not have replaced the seals in that job? did they nick this seal in that job?) and now the rear brake caliper and hose are broken too (broken during rotations/balances? if not just newly broken, how were these missed in two multi-point checklists?) All this because we came in for an oil change and trusted them with the ball joint job, and all within days right after the ball joint job, on a car that was brought in otherwise fine. Left 2 messages to speak with the Service Manager already many days ago. I am about to lose faith in this service/dealership, which I have trusted since buying the car. If only they'd call back - they are impermeable to talk to. I will watch for a response here on how to have that discussion, since nothing else works.

The staff at Huntington Honda took excellent care of me with my recent car purchase. I went there a few weeks ago to make my first car purchase and it was as smooth an experience as it could be. Angel was a great salesman, he answered all of my questions and let me take my time with looking and deciding. Marc, the finance manager, was easy on me (as I have bad credit and tend to beat myself up about it), and broke everything down in a way that made sense to me. Both men were very kind, and easy to work with. I got a great car at a great price and I'm very happy with my purchase. Definitely visit Huntington Honda for your next certified pre-owned purchase. You will not be disappointed!

We bought a so called CERTIFIED used car from here one month ago, but the problems keep showing up. It was on the very same day that we picked up the car, there was rust on brake and the tire pressure indicator lighted on, so we drove back immediately and got the rust cleaned up and the technician reset the indicator. We were a little upset at that time because this should be a car that has been inspected carefully before they give it to their customer. But since it was just minor issues so we decided to let it go. After that, the tire pressure indicator lights on again someday, and we thought it was just because of the weather at first and did not give it too much attention, but it lights on very often recently and just the past Saturday, we noticed that it is not just the weather, the left rear tire looks very different than the others, it is deflated. And sales guaranteed us this car has all brand new tires installed. We called the dealer today but it seems they don t care at all, said they would call us back but never did.

They sent my key fob home with someone else and I had to wait over an hour for them to make me a key while their manager rudely told me that it was a mistake they get a 100 keys and it shouldn t be such a big deal. They wanted me to drive back to my house in their shuttle to drive back to the dealership and wait another 40 minutes for another key to be programmed. Absolutely ridiculous to blame a customer, inconvenience their day, and expect the customer to not be upset. Do NOT trust this dealership. I can t wait till my lease is up so I never have to come back here again.

Seeing the complexity of today's modern vehicles, especially Japanese designed and engineered vehicles, I feel it is extremely important to have well qualified mechanics and technicians. It is without question or doubt that Huntington Honda has them.

The loaner car they gave was awesome in the fact that the Bluetooth audio supports Japanese Kanjis. When I play my anime soundtracks on my 2012 Pilot the Kanjis inside the M4A metadata don't display at all.

I visited Huntington Honda to buy a used 2012 CR-V. Ended up buying a slightly used and beautiful 2013 CR-V thanks to Alam Kabir and June Torres. Both men were honest and very easy to deal with. No pressure on the sale. I went for a wonderful test drive with Alam as he showed me everything I could possibly want to know about the CR-V. Afterwards I spent painless time dealing with all my financial matters in the company of June Torres, and then proceeded to wrap up my insurance with Alam. Both June and Alam are highly professional employees, with nothing but good intentions for their customers. I recommend no two other men when seeking a purchase at this dealership!

We made appointment for used car advertised on the internet. Called to make sure it was still available before driving two hours round trip. Was told by very friendly young lady it was still there. Got to the dealership, met a young man and he knew what car we had asked about, had us sign in while he went to check on the car. He reappeared and says he was sorry but the car was already sold. I said well we were told it was here as we called to make sure before making the trip. I then asked how long ago it was sold, he said it was awhile ago. So if you want to waste your time during a pandemic for a car that is advertised at a reasonable price with unbelievably low miles, that I would call a ghost car and doesn t really exist...then go for it. It is an old trick, as it is known in the business. When I said to the young salesman I knew what they were doing and that I will never come to this dealership ever again, he laughed at me. This is a true story, and honestly I m shocked as I checked the reviews before I posted and they seem mostly very positive. So it saddens me to have had this experience. I will stay with my Honda dealership near me in Patchogue, as they have proven to be much more trustworthy.

I'm not one to usually write these but considering the person who had got me my car and made my experience great, definitely deserves a great review, her name is Ali and all I could say is that I would definitely go back again to her in the future. This is our third lease with Huntington Honda we had horrible experience the second time around.. *cough cough* with Barry... never go to him. I came in looking for a car for myself and did look at other vehicles from other brands but Honda always stuck with me, and Ali had given me the deal I was looking for. The car was ready the same day we had signed for it and was put in a spot where no one would touch or go near it. I highly recommend Ali for helping you with your new car, and of course a great time with her great personality and making you feel so welcome, kept the same energy throughout the whole process. -Saverio and his family.

Arthur Massey kept me in mind for months after my initial inquiry and called me regularly to keep me updated. When the best car and deal were available, we sat and completed the transaction. Barry Weckstein and I have been through 6 leases together. He is almost family. John in the service department takes wonderful care of me during the lease. Kudos to the whole establishment.

Traded in a 2019 Subaru with 7,000 miles trying to get a new car and was told By Vixamar Carre that my only option was a 2017 Honda hr-v with 53,668 miles and I kept asking to view other cars and he denied me and continued to keep pushing me to get the hr-v stating that it is my only option. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!!! I only put one star cause I had no option but if it was possible they would get a negative stars.

I have been using Huntington Honda service for my CRV for at least 5 years. Andrew is the service advisor I always work with. He is always accommodating and knowledgeable, as well as kind and funny. He always makes sure that my husband and I feel appreciated as loyal service clients. I never have trouble with the service on my vehicle. I feel safe leaving there knowing that everything has been thoroughly checked and maintained and I am fully informed about the work done to my car and any other services I will require in the future. Huntington Honda Service holds customer loyalty in a high place and believes that every experience there should end with a customer who is 100% satisfied.

Very poor service. I had to wait for 45 minutes after car was ready. I went twice to ask about why I am waiting when the car was ready. I was told my service manager will contact me. I don t understand under COVID 19 why would you wait your customer for 40 minutes after the car is ready. Also the service Latino guys were totally unprofessional. I asked this guys can you ask my service manager what is happening & they started laughing. This is totally unprofessional & dont want to own any Honda cars. I am having two Honda cars & was happy with the car but today service made me very unhappy under COVID-19 situation as it seems you don t care about people life.

Took my car in today to repair the IMA light from turning on. This is the 2nd time in 6 months that I've brought in my car for the same reason. It took 5 hours to diagnose and "fix" my car. The car seemed fine right after but at 9:30pm tonight the light came on again. Has anyone experienced issues like this at this dealership? I cant be the only one.
