Their service sucks. Can you imagine that waiting 2 hours for oil change? Only 2 customers before me at that time. They don't know about efficiency. They don't know scheduling. Not professional at all!
I have to say that they are very helpful. Chuck is a man of his word and I really appreciate the help he gave me with my car. I recommend doing business with him.
I was changing my oil regularly at this place until this guy didn t tied the bolts of the filter cover. When I was driving my car the metal cover felt down and stuck with the ground and turned like a can!!! I towed the car by my own and the owner was so ugly and said what can I do !!!! With loud voice and no respect then he started to hammer the metal cover and he did the same mistake and didn t tied one bolt and I have to go under the car for double check!! Then he took it back and fixed with this broken cover and said tell me what can I do!!! Do not go to this place they are disrespectful. Do you know if I did not record everything this guy will be so rude and maybe he will kick me out of his workshop but I have dash camera and I took a photos of the incident once it happens.
Do not go there !! Everything Extremely expensive here esspecially labor fees. I need to spend above 1000$ to fix coolant leak. never go there again i dont understand why the rate is pretty much high !!! just wanted to write a review to save some people wasting their money being charged 10 times more

I started taking my car here about 2 years ago and have always received exceptional service. As a single female with a 9 year old car I can tell you I don't trust a whole lot of mechanics. These guys are honest and actually tell me when I DON'T need something done. My AC went out a couple of weeks ago and I needed it fixed as quickly as I possibly could. There was no question where I was going to take it. Fast, efficient, honest, and fair prices...what more could you ask for!

They even referred me to a place to get great used tires that I definately needed! Would definately come here again.
Just bought a '01 Volvo without a tranny dipstick and was having shifting problems. Brought it in and the guys told me it needed further diagnosis but didn't charge for the road test. Turns out it was just over-filled and dirty but these guys could have taken me to the proverbial cleaners if they were so inclined....instead they were fortright and honest.
These guys are the last of a dying breed_honest and trustworthy.

Honest people. I was have tranny issues they diagnose the problem for me for free after a test drive. Its was my throttle position sensor which caused the improper shifting of the transmission. I walked with that knowledge after thanking them. I added them to my x-mas card list
I had my gear shift bushings replaced. I took my car in early in the morning and the work was completed early that afternoon. It would have been done that morning, but they had to find the parts. My car is a 1990 luxury car. Since I'm familiar with this shop and the mechanic that normally works on my car, I wasn't surprised of the prompt and professional service. Car shifts great now. My car was towed in the night before my visit. The man on the phone sounded professional and concerned which I appreciated. However, I do not appreciate it when mechanics try to get over you with a ridiculous price for service. I drive a 1999 Honda Civic Ex, my radiator was pretty much bone dry and that's why my car was overheating, (I figured that out on my own + a small leak in one of the radiator hoses) Rather than showing me that, he tries to convince me that I should get my radiator replaced. Keep in mind my car is old, but to try to charge me $727 to replace a radiator was almost an insult to my intelligence. No way in hell was I gonna pay that much for my radiator to be replaced, and to flush it out he said he would just charge me $200. I may not be the brightest when it comes to diagnosing the problem with cars because I'm still fairly new to my first car, but I know when someone is trying to rip me off. But yeah, I paid the $30 diagnosed fee that they charge, I see other people here saying they got theirs for free...I guess I missed that era of service. In the end, you can count on me NOT returning.
We had the transmission in my husband's truck rebuilt at an Aamco in West Virginia. My husband does oil/gas work and travels all over the country and happened to be working in Ohio when his transmission problems started. After the rebuild, my husband was not satisfied with how the newly rebuilt transmission was performing, so I called Chuck at Aamco in Houston and explained the situation to him. He was more than happy to help and diagnosis problems and help us with our issues right over the phone and suggested some after market parts that would help to keep the transmission temperature down will the truck was idling. Chuck's advice really helped to put my husband at ease over his transmission and his advice was extremely helpful. I would recommend this Aamco location to anyone. Chuck definitely knows what he is talking about and truly cares about your situation and is willing to help in any way possible. When my husband gets back to Texas, we will be driving the 100 miles to his shop and have the after market parts Chuck suggested put on the truck. From now on, if our truck has any transmission problems, Chuck is our go to guy! Top notch!

I would not recommend anyone to go there. There's no customer service the guy didn't seem to care about about what u was trying to tell them. I sat there for about an hour for him to come tell me a lie that I didn't need what I asked for Money thursty
Extremely honest mechanics. I had a problem of bumpy drive but was simply because I embarrassingly put too much air into the tires. They could have said that I need to change my suspension but they were totally honest. I would definitely recommend this place.
Sweet team, honestly. I was prepared to negotiate and stand my point; but for what?! They got my car s main issue resolved with their inspection, changed my oil and fluids, as well gave me a discount and a free battery for my key since I asked for a quote and told them someone wanted to charge me $150+. THEY DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT! They are a truly a down to earth, local team. Did NOT hustle me as a young professional woman. I was so impressed and grateful , I brought donuts the next Monday for the team lol, I just KNEW THEY THOUGHT I WAS FLUFFING, gave me much joy to show appreciation, always referring people their way.
We have always gotten excellent service from Chuck and Richard at Aamco! As a woman, I never doubt the integrity of their assessments regarding my car. They are always fair and honest in letting me know what needs to be fixed and what can wait and for how long. I have sent many others to this shop and will continue to refer friends and family members to them.
Update: Since the ownership change and complete front office change, I haven t needed service on my car. However, a week ago, I took my car in for a repair previously priced out with the previous team as well as with the Honda dealership. The new team not only gave me a much higher price (nearly double), but also defended their price by saying it was that high because they only buy parts from Honda direct. So, their estimate was $1250! The Honda dealership price was $900 to fix the same issue. Because of the size of the estimate, my husband ended up researching it. We ended up buying the parts from Honda directly and fixing the issue for under $500! I understand needing to make a profit, but I feel the service here now is not the same level of trustworthiness I had with Richard and Chuck and their team. I also am very disappointed with the much higher prices since the new management began. I will not be returning for service here.
I've been coming here for all my car maintenance needs since I moved to Houston for school. These guys have really helped me out by making sure my car was safe for driving. I was helped by Nathan and he explained things clearly without trying to oversell me into non-essential repairs.
I needed help as it was an emergency. They helped me right away. They answered my questions as well. I feel as though I know more about cars and trucks when I leave as opposed to when I came.
Mr Aaron, Mr. Brian and the chief technologists were all very kind. They made very detailed assessment of the issues and with the appropriate recommendations, so I can made an informed decision. They are very patient and also offer service pre-checking car service should I want to get a certified used car / used vehicles.
It is more and more difficult to get a friendly neighborhood car mechanics nowadays that is honest, fair and friendly.

Paid over 1100 to get my car fixed and scammed out of it !!!!!!!!!! They knew they ain t fixed nothing how can u get over 12 things done that needa to be fixed in 2 days while the car was still sitting there with the hood open every time I came by . And they are racists just because I m black you can run over me . That s down bad I have a child that drives with me everyday . Thanks to Aaron and Brian for all the help this weekend. My Ford Explorer had a noise when I accelerated. The dealership couldn't see me on Saturday, so I went to Aamco. They were able to diagnose and fix it in just a few hours and was a great price. Thanks again!!
Scheduled an appointment for 9:30am online, I also called to make sure the appointment went through since I didn t get a confirmation email. I showed up at 9:30am but it took over an hour and a half for a simple oil change.
When I talked to the staff about it, he was dismissive and had an attitude. I had gone here for 4 years and never had such issues. I won t be going back.
I have taken my cars to Aamco for the past six months. Last month they did a brake job on my car and my car no longer makes noise when pressing the brakes. I get all my maintenance work here for my two cars. I like that they are honest about what they need to buy. they don't try to sell what you don't need. I like to change my oil here because they also check all my fluids and inform me if I need any other work for my car. Great place to bring your car, they will take good care of you if your car.

I have been going here for years to keep my 2008 Ford Escape up and running. When it started getting high in miles and having issues other places wanted to "try" stuff to see if they could fix the problem. The mechanics here have a lot of knowledge and experience and have always been able to determine the cause of the problem and fix it.
I have also always been treated with respect, as a knowledgeable adult. I have engineering degree so I have an idea of what the problems can be and hate shops that are clearly trying to take advantage of women because they assume they don't know anything, or use scare tactics to get them to spend more money. I have never had that experience here. From the first time I went in, they have explained to me what they found, show it to me if needed, go over the problems it can cause and all my options for repair. They give me a heads up on things I need to consider in the future if I want to continue driving the vehicle, but never try to push me to do something by using scare tactics.
I will definitely continue to use them to hopefully prolong the life of my vehicle even more.
Bryan and the team were very knowledgeable and very helpful. They made sure that they got to the root of the problem and got it fixed properly. One of the main things that I like about going to aamco is the warranty. The prices was fair and they worked with me. I will come back !!!!!
I STOPPED IN ON MY WAY OUT OF TOWN AND THEY FIXED ME UP! MY AC HADN'T BEEN COOLING AND WE WERE GOING ON A LONG TRIP. I EXPECTED THE WORST. BUT, AARON BRYANT EXPLAINED TO ME THAT IT WAS JUST LOW ON FREON AND MY CABIN FILTER WAS RESTRICTED. HAD ME GOING IN NO TIME! I LIKE THE FACT THAT HE DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ME STUFF IT DIDN'T NEED OR CHARGE ME AN ARM AND A LEG FOR WHAT THEY DID. IF YOU NEED SERVICE OR REPAIRS ASK FOR AARON!!!
They will try to upsell every time you go here for an oil change. They tried to get me to pay $55 dollars extra for an oil change because I was a few thousand miles late changing it. They told me I needed my power steering fluid flushed for $98 because it was black gunk, I found another shop who would do it for less than fifty, but before took it there I checked the power steering fluid and found that it was amber, not black gunk, so I did not have it done. They told me I needed my rear seal changed for $1200. I found a shop to do it for $600, but so far I am using no oil, so I don t even need it. They told me I needed my wipers replaced, even though they are working fine. Please don t take your vehicle to this shop.
Been coming here since I moved back to Houston. Whatever needs to be done as been done well,in a timely manner,with courtesy and reliable. I've never returned for a recurring issue when something is fixed. Family members and friends of mine, I advise to bring their vehicles. Unless they go out of business, I'll use them as long as I'm alive.
Overall the staff seemed pretty friendly. I definitely had the solid impression that when I dropped my truck off I was going to have an idea of what the problem was. However that was not the case at all. I have absolutely no clue what exactly I spent $30 for them to check. I was told hub assembly and abs/speed sensor but when I got under my truck I found a burnt up vacuum line next to my drive shaft.. my hubs run on a vacuum when put in 4x4.. I am still no closer to finding out what s wrong with my truck. Best advice I can give is to pay the extra for a shop that ll actually do the work.
There s no way you visually inspection of vehicle under side and missed the damn bad mounts, the burned up vacuum line, the bushings. That s from a short time of me crawling around under it. You had it all day and are trying to sell me parts I might not need at all.

I had my brakes serviced and oil change on my 2012 Toyota Corolla on a busy Saturday morning. Overall experience was one of the best I've had and I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back. They provided an Uber to my home and back for my convenience!
I could go into depth about my experience here, but I won't because I know the collective attention span of the current generation. Just know that I went into this place to get a state inspection, but didn't. Though I'm a minority, I'm usually the last person to claim racism when presented with piss-poor customer service from Caucasians. However, it felt like I was on the "wrong side of town" or had stumbled into the wrong diner in 1950s Birmingham -- if you know what I mean. The looks of detest and the cold dispositions were flagrant & undeniable. DO NOT patronize this place; "especially if your skin is rich with melanin".
The last time we brought our old Subaru in they said they had fixed an issue where the car would die spontaneously without warning. What they did however did not fix the problem. We had them check it again and they told us something to the effect of, "We now know what the issue is. The problem you described we weren't able to reproduce the last time you brought it in, but now we see what you're talking about." We knew the car was old and was going to have issues. What upset us is that they "fixed" the issue and charged us to "fix" it without even spending the time to reproduce the problem and accurately diagnose the issue. I understand that there are a lot of things that can go wrong with a car, however when I bring it in to a shop to get fixed, I expect them keep the car for however long is necessary to see what the real issue is. I don't want to pay for guess work.
This company went above and beyond even my highest expectations. Aaron and Mrs Laura went out of their way to ensure I made it back to my destination in the time I need to. Thank you guys so much! I highly recommend this company, and specifically this location for any vehicle needs!

Had a great experience with these guys. The clutch began going out on my Honda a few months ago and when I called around for quotes, theirs was competitive and they were nearby. Got in the same day and they explained how everything was going to go and what might crop up, though they would call me before they did anything outside of what I originally came in for. I got a call the next day that the car was done and they had done a couple extra small things that they didn't charge for. Aaron (I think that was his name) even told me to look online for coupons and I found a $100 off for the type of repair I had done, which made the price at this shop the cheapest I would have found. Overall they were great and I'll be back if I have any future issues.
To the point, quick service, fair pricing, friendly, and they don't try to upsell you on anything. They let you decide what you're going to do with your car, absolutely zero pressure.

Have been taking my cars here for about a year now. Always upfront, honest, and reliable. Some repairs are a bit pricey, but very reasonable for most maintenance and minor repair jobs.
Edit: they have changed management and the customer service is not as good. Still a good place, but I would suggest looking around before choosing due to the price.
