Last year it was closed for remodelling now the IIIT, Surat students were given accommodation in it

Old but gold, there is some minor problems but overall the hotel is wellen good , single rooms with balcony

Not a good place to live. Baf washrooms and vert hot in summer with zero ventilation.

Place feels like near to home like it's far from home but its home which is in a jungle so be brave

It is a boys' hostel.
Right now it is available to all IIIT SURAT students.
There are single as well as double rooms available for boys.

This hostel is in very poor condition. The rooms are too small, bathrooms and toilets are so small that they are practically non existent, they just for formality non functional. Hostel had power cuts now and than. Hostel doesn't have its own mess The drinking water is not drinkable, I mean people have even gotten ill. Too many mosquitos and pest, many of friends have even got DENGUE. Last but not the least the wifi does not work and lan well goes down every alternate day, when you need it the most it doesn't work.

Fully lack of facilities and mosquito are more then infinity, WiFi available , Lan available , Electricity 24*7, Million water available

This used to be a good hostel back in it's Glory days but now it's just struggling to function. Rooms are good for one person to stay in. Sadly the bathrooms are bad they don't have enough space to do your business. Now it's closed off to students only open for PhD students and others who are appearing for their supplementary exams.

should not be used now! very old construction, it should be broken down.

This is a boys' hostel in SVNIT SURAT.
This place was closed for a quite time for renovation purpose.
Now all the IIIT SURAT students are staying at this place.
There are single and double rooms available here.
There is no mess at this place right now.
There is a parking lot for bicycle parking.
Tagor Bhavan is surrounded by kind of a mini jungle.It is near to SWAMI and BHABHA Bhavan.

Spent two years here. 1st on the top floor with my awesome friend Shalabh and then a single room on the middle floor. Long hours of movie watching, games on LAN, cricket, Uncle Sam's mess, TT room, TV and the disappointment of the 2007 WC. All was experienced here.

Very good hostel, a lot of memories, good ventilation
