Watched the Van Halen tribute. The security staff in the front checking ids were professional. Spencer was my bartender tonight. She did an overall wonderful job, serving me and making sure everything was good to go. Was a great night. Thanks HOB!

Great place to see a concert. Gets crowded quick so get there early. Also very hot inside since its crowded.
The grits are very good the food is very good as well. The service is a little slow but the food is worth the wait
Feb 15, 2020: My wife and I attend the Fleetwood Mac remembrance (?) show by the band Rumors. Much to my chagrin I am stuck with all my movement in a wheelchair except for very short distances with a cane if it is a good day or a walker if it isn't. However, this review is not for me to air my anger with life. BUT TO LAUD how impressed I was with the exceptional treatment throughout the entire show that my wife and especially I received from the staff at the House of Blues. Often when at a venue you can single out an individual who excelled in their treatment of a handicapped person. I can't even begin to praise how wonderful the staff treatment of myself and the gamut of other ADA persons that I witnessed received. This being my first visit to a House of Blues venue and unable to comment on the care that one would receive from other H of B locations, I most definitely can state that I will be returning to the House of Blues of Myrtle Beach again. Additionally, overall I would greatly recommend Myrtle Beach as a truly remarkable place to visit regardless if you are handicapped or not, if you have a family with a whole range of ages, are young, single, group, or a couple or getting on with age (I have been visiting MB for thirty years after my military career) and I now consider myself albeit reluctantly as progressing through one's lifetime journey. Then I whole heartedly recommend Myrtle Beach for all conceivable facets of activities and entertainment.

2nd time at HOB and the 1st visit was a grand slam. This trip was a stand up double. The food was still good but the experience was sub par. We had rsvp and still had to wait 10 mins while others with no rsvp were seated. The waiter didn't seem too knowledgeable or wanting to serve us. Overall we had a good meal and good time. Will def come back.
Went to Carolina Music Award show...VIP tickets. Worst seats in the house, couldn't see the stage, much less the performers. Food, they ran out except for two cold meatballs and a pepsi. Couldn't understand the band or announcers because of speaker or mixer was not adequate. A lot of people went down stairs to stand up to hear and see. Stood in line for 1 1/2 hours to get in, staff was not knowledgeable about what was going on. Don't waste your money for vip if you decide to go. A lot better places cheaper and better to go to
Seated our large party without blinking. Great service and attentive waitstaff. The family barbeque meal was more than enough for 4. Kids lobed their chicken tenders and the attention paid to them by the waitress. The chicken meal was large and cooked to the exact right degree. Real mashed potatoes and tasty cole slaw. Great decor with the blues artists and period pieces. Definitely would return.
We really enjoyed the gospel brunch! The food and mimosas were awesome. My mom was able to sing with the band.
Only giving 4 stars because the entertainment was wonderful! Kudos to the Craig Sorrells band! Otherwise the food was average ( got a none in my pulled chicken sandwich) and the service was slow!! The waitresses were very friendly but they apparently needed more waitresses. Very frustrating!
Excellent Mahi, great atmosphere and food. Can't beat the laid back atmosphere in this vacation destination.
Drinks are too expensive but good. Different drink menu through out the bar/restaurant/show rooms so its sort of confusing and frustrating. If you start in the restaurant with a drink then move to the show room you have to switch drinks.
Murder Mystery was fun but the food wasn't that great and portions were tiny. We went to a drive through on the way home because we were still hungry.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful meal at House of Blues in Myrtle Beach. Our waiter Jay was so funny and so helpful. Our family has alot of dietary restrictions and the knowledgeable head chef came out to help us!! The manager Ryan was so welcoming and made sure we were enjoying our meal! And even Brittany Alfred the hostess that sat us was extraordinary!! She told us stories about the art work. Thank you to everyone for going above and beyond!!
A bit pricey but the food is very good and the gospel show is fun and energetic.

No place to sit, drinks are unreasonable in price. Will not be going back anytime soon. Recommend spend your money else were.

Absolutely the worst venue I have ever gone to see a show. Payed $173 for 2 tickets to Shinedown and couldn't see a thing. Ridiculous. Plus it was super hot inside. Almost unbearable. I will never pay money to see a show there again.
Love seeing local and non local bands and Tim and Erin are great here
We went to the Sunday Gospel Brunch. The food is incredible!!! We've never had such amazing buffet food - not even in Vegas. We had 11:00 reservations, got there a few minutes early, and there were no tables empty. We got to hear some great music while we waited. After that set, we were seated. When the musicians played again, they did just a very few songs then had a very long audience participation song, played 1 more, then were through. I think the set before had more of their music. The after church crowd was coming in as we left. Might be better to catch an early set or right after church set. It was a great time and we will go again.

Halloween party was awesome, very cool decorations, excellent band, nice crowd of visitors. Our waitresses was just alright, she was overwhelmed most of the night and it was rough getting her attention and to get served. Now to the food on the deck, it's over priced not made as described by the menu and there are up charges for everything, slice of cheese on my burger $1.00. They put those onion straws on the burger than charged me upcharge $1.00 Too many wonderful places at the beach, won't be going back here
It's a good venue the place is terrible to see a concert if you are not in the pit or reserve a set you can not see the concert... a waste of good money
This House of Blues location is great! Very close to the intercoastal waterway by Barefoot. If you are looking for live music and fun outside seating, i would recommend visiting here. The deck is very unique with different types of seating from tables, chairs and outdoor couches while you can enjoy beverages and listen to the band. The outside bar itself is fun too!
I also came here one morning for the buffet breakfast. Very good as well. Eggs made to order and buffet style breakfast. Drinks must but purchased as extras, but can't go wrong for their food. I'll definitely be back!
Only negative I have as part of my experience here is the Deck(outside) allows smoking. Had to take one star off for this. As a non smoker and seeing families sitting at tables with children, it was annoying. This place would be a lot more classy without it.
The way they treat people with disabilities is awful. Who expects people with canes to sit on bar stools!!!!
Food was good. Waiter Chris was nice and I ca t forget the manager he was very professional and he went above to try and find voodoo egg rolls for me even though it wasn t on the menu. Nailia was very nice she took our pictures and they came out great. Love it. We recommend House of Blues!!
I didn't particularly like that the entire building looked like a 1930 metal shack. The inside smelled moldy and there wasn't anything on the menu that stood out. We had a party of 7 and only 1 person ordered from the food menu. There was a photographer that took our picture which was the nicest part about our visit.
Walked up to the restaurant door at 5:15 p.m., there's a sign on the door stating the restaurant will re-open in March. I sure would like to see that information on the website. But that's alright, never again... Is rather eat at any other place in Myrtle Beach!

Waited twenty minutes longer than quoted for a table. We were there on a Monday & kids were supposed to eat free. However, that's not the case. It's just advertised, we had to pay for kids meals. Extremely disappointed in this restaurant, I wouldn't recommend it.
Excellent staff service. The venue has an old, rustic charm, clean. We paid for reserved seating, well worth it and it's not overly expensive like a larger facility would be.

I love the place but they put other people in front of us, told us they were there first when we wat hed then walk in and then tried to pacify us with cornbread. We waited two hours to eat and missed our show as a result. We came all the way from Philadelphia. The food, i have to say, was and always is ridiculously delicious. Make sure you go out on the rear deck after dinner and see the live band and enjoy the bar. The young folks running the place will get better with time management...everyone has got to learn somewhere...
Worst event holder ever!! Standing room only except for MVP. Security was so extremely rude. We have to go back next week for my son's fight and I'M NOT LOOKING forward to this crappy venue!!! But I WILL not miss my son's fight over there inability to host a MMA fight effectively!
The concert hall shows are usually great but the security is terrible. Highly intoxicated and/or drugged, obnoxious, offensive people do not get expelled until a fight occurs. Usually things can get hostile when someone tries to move in front of people who are standing closer to the stage. They need visible security down front.
HOB in NMB is an awesome venue to see concerts, and they have free live music daily on the Deck.
Great food, indoor,outdoor,concert seating, music everywhere,gift shop prices reasonable. Friendly staff, light heated and fun. Highly recommend,.
Too many people in there for concert. Very hot inside. Rude staff shouting "coming through" and shining very bright led lights in our eyes. Will never return.
Horrible customer service. Paid a total of 88$ for 2 tix and was told that "their" general admission meant that we had to stand the entire time .we could barely see main act b/c people were stand in front of us. My bad for not doing my research. A beer cost 9$. Never again.
We only spent time at the Deck for live music. Food was expensive and sub standard. Mixed drinks were very weak and beer supply was mainly domestic beers. The music quality was excellent as was the ambiance. If you are looking for a good music hangout to have a couple of beers I recommend the Deck.
Decent breakfast food. Dont be in a rush. Reasonable prices.

See part of pink Floyd laser spectacular! It was anything but. Tickets stated seats come to find out we had to stand or buy seats. So 60.00 later after buying tickets we sat lol I will never do this again it sucked! We left about 3 songs in. Gave our seats to other poor standing folks whom probably got ripped off too. Also 2 Margarita's 23.00 in a plastic kid cup. House of blues sucks will never waste vacation time and money on it again in any state.
