Great place for food and music! Sliders are awesome! Drinks are reasonable.
I attended the Sunday gospel brunch. The array of food was phenomenal!! The performance was amazing! Good food for your belly and soul.
This was an amazing experience doing the Mystery Murder Dinner. Definitely was on track and then the twist hit me and we would have sent our neighbor to jail. Lol definitely a must here in Myrtle Beach
Food and service was good enough, but it is the typical theme restaurant. Much like Hard Rock Cafe, or Planet Hollywood.
Great venue! Way better than I expected. The bar staff was great, lots of room, and the restrooms were really clean. I'd definitely see a show here again.
Went for my Birthday. The food was great. The pulled pork was so good it didn't need sauce. My waitress Renee was just fabulous.... loved her.
Thank you to House of Blues for bringing in big name LIVE music to the Grand Strand!! Drinks are a little expensive, but worth it!!
Great food, cold drinks, and great staff all the way around
How can one not like this place? Something for everyone. Definitely funky.
Beverages a little pricey, but really enjoyed the live music by Shaun Abbott.
Went to see 311 my son was pushed down the steps so someone else would have a better spot. If you plan on bringing anyone who is unable to defend them self, do so at your own discretion. Security can only do so much - we were relocated to a safer spot but missed a good portion of the concert. It's just not a family friendly environment whatsoever! For the amount I spent no one should have felt in danger! Will never visit this establishment again.
Best vibe we've experienced in a long time. The band was amazing. Sound was perfect. Kids friendly environment.
We did the dining murder mystery. We all had an enjoyable evening. The dinner was a very nice meal.
There's just no other place like it in the WORLD ! The Sunday brunch is legendary and the inner decor is the most interesting and even the art is special and I have seen several shows there that I will never forget in my lifetime...
The House of Blues gives good size portions. The staff is very friendly . I do wish they would remodel. When you walk it smells like an old damp basement. It definitely takes away from the food because the smell affects the food.
Beware, if your sensitive to mold.
Great seats for the price and the staff were awesome!
First time there.cool set up. Entertainment was local, but decent.
House Of Blues Myrtle Beach is a very entertaining music venue, friendly staff, clean safe environment, all sorts of fun inside and out. HOB can get crowded ITS A MUSIC VENUE WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE. Great place to have a great experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I was very disappointed in our 60 dollar seats.im 5 2 and could barely see the stage
Everytime I stood up your staff member told us we had to sit down and she was rude!! Her name was casey
. My friends and I are 70 and were looking forward to a fun nite and she ruined our evening!!!
She then sent another staff member who also scolded us as if we were in school ... Brie was our waitress and she was very nice and tried to fix the situatio . We even asked the people behind d us if we were. Locking their view and they SAID. NO. have fun ladies!!!! We ended up leaving those seats and stood down in the crowd were we could at least see something
We will never come back!!! Sincerely a un satisfied customer....
Annie
Where is the zero or negative range. The venue is awesome but the restaurant is in need of a major overhaul management and staff change. Each time I have been the service is horrible and worse. The waitresses try to add drinks to your tab that was not yours, Oh and don't print out the free appetizer coupon and try to use it they all looked at me with the deer in the headlights look, like I was trying to steal from the menu LOL Crystal our waitress acted like she had never seen the coupon on the ticket stub that is printed out. The staff are more into rushing customers and turning the tables than providing good service. All I can say is what a sorry A?? Group of people.
Went to see Highly Suspect. Great venue. My only complaint is they kept the VIP ticket holders outside in the cold and it was a misty rain as well. Then they didn't know which way to direct us. Everyone holding the VIP tickets were a little confused and freezing which wasn't fun. Anything could have went wrong somewhere that we weren't aware of so that's life sometimes. I don't hold it against the staff but you'd think as many concerts that they have there, that there would been alot better organization. I would still go back. Any place could be having an off day. Still really cool place
Attended two of the tribute cover bands this past week- Rumors and Thunderstruck. Great shows.
Suggestions to improve
have heaters for the lineup outside, and keep the side doors closed - inside the venue was so cold the night of the Rumors concert. Thunderstruck night was a bit warmer!
Schedule more tribute bands for the Canadian March break! Example: Departed (journey tribute).
Awesome food! Saw Hunter Hayes tonight! Great show! Moe is the best !
I've been going to the HOB since they've opened in North Myrtle Beach, but strictly for concerts. This was the first time I've been there for the SUNDAY GOSPEL BRUNCH. This is a game changer. It bring JESUS, Mimosa, Bloody Mary, the Friendliest of People, A Variety Great Fresh Cooked Food, and a Wonderful Staff (ask for Reggie), all under one roof. Can you handle it?
Good atmosphere, people are really nice
They give you free tickets to shows if you ask the staff
Went to puddle of mud concert. Great concert, clean well aired establishment
Great venue for small concerts. On the restaurant side they offer a great daily breakfast in the on-season months & a gospel one on Sunday's year round.
We eat here for breakfast every morning when we vacation at myrtle beach. Great food, awesome customer service!
Great place to listen to live music. I like the deck area the most.
Really good food and the music and live concerts are great.
How often does Chef Aaron Sanchez Inspect what his name is on??? my wife and I are big fans of the House of Blues (been to 4 so far, Atlantic City, Vegas and Cleveland as well as our recent stop at Myrtle Beach) and are big fans of the Food network shows and of Chef Sanchez as well, so we were pleasantly surprised to see the combination of both ( A chef Sanchez designed menu) the Decor was very well done with a lot of great artwork it was really quite impressive, but that was the highlight, fortunately we did get some good pictures, it was mid week and early (about 5:30 pm so it was by no means crowded or busy, I thought it was interesting how our waitress made it very clear that this was an Aaron Sanchez Designed Menu and that we should read the descriptions carefully because Chef Sanchez's recipes are known for being a bit Spicy!!!... well... we read the menu carefully and made our selections, I choose Red Rose Garlic Mashed Potatoes Topped with Cotija Cheese and Applewood Bacon as a side dish and Island Turkey Burger
Seasoned with Jamaican spices topped with Cheddar cheese on a chipotle mayo brushed potato bun, served with crispy field greens and sliced Roma tomatoes as my main dish,(well written and makes your mouth water doesn't it?) sadly as well written as the are they both were, they were extremely disappointing to eat, not only did the Island Turkey burger lack heat of any type, both dishes were Severely Under seasoned!!! I am not sure exactly what is involved when a Chef Designs a menu and puts his name and picture on it, so I may be expecting too much, but if I were a Celebrity Chef with the Reputation as good as Aaron Sanchez I would be checking in regularly on the quality and consistency of the food that is going out of that kitchen... for the record it was not horrible, what I expected was something bold and full of flavor and what i got was something slightly better that a fast food burger, a bit harsh yes but it was not anywhere near the Standards we have come to expect from of the House of Blues and Definitely not the Standard of Aaron Sanchez!
Cant book bands other then tribute bands. They might have 1 known band come once every 2-3 months but 14 tribute bands in that time. You look at bands you like and they go to every HOB but this one. 11 PM curfew. So if band is delayed it's a quick set. Definitely was better in 90- early 2000s when they had good bands all the time
Atmosphere was awesome but the food was not that great. Wings were rubbery and burgers were nothing special. Could be a great place but need to fix menu or cooking staff.
The best food and music for your soul!! The group Glory rocked the house with some great Gospel tunes. Their Amazing Grace was phenomenal!! Can't wait to come back in August for another visit to the House of Blues!!
If I could leave zero stars I would. Do not make the mistake of eating here. EVER. We actually walked out before the entrees came, just couldn't wait more than the hour we waited since sitting down. That was after an hour wait to sit down.
We spent time on the deck, drinks are terrible. Ordered nachos, please don't get them. It's what you would get at a gas station.
Easily the worst restaurant experience I've had in years, maybe of all time. And just so you don't think this was an isolated incident, I will tell you that I saw and heard the manager at multiple tables around us apologizing.
Great staff, delicious food at restaurant and an enjoyable concert.
Great venue for live performances. My only complaint is that for those of us in wheelchairs, the handicapped parking is far away from the entrance and is located in an incline. Also, the walkway is very bumpy and very difficult to maneuver around in a wheelchair without getting stuck. But since I'm a minority (being, one of the small percent in a wheelchair, I'm only deducting one star for that). They have some great bands that come to this House of Blues and also have great advertising for upcoming events. I enjoy coming here and the staff/security are very nice and overall very cool.
Perfect venue to see a concert. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only con is that drinks are far overpriced.
Our second time at HOB....both times to see a performance. Venue is nicely laid out, but if oversold can be a little uncomfortable without reserved seating.
Went to see Buckethead last night ...amazing guitarist, a special treat to see someone so obscure and unbelievably talented. Had a great time...will attend more shows in the future, when in the area.
They have one awesome breakfast buffet!! Definitely worth a try.
Don't sell tickets for beer fest saying samples are 1-3$ when you know everything is $3 each for 3 oz. Sample...I'll never go to another "craft beer."fest...a bunch of cans in ice....
The smokehouse family style meal was great for our group of 4. Great BBQ, allowed us to try several different things, there was a bunch left over and it was a good value. The Ribs were my favorite. Our waitress was very nice too!
Live music on the Deck is fabulous. Food in restaurant is very good.
Great customer service ambiance music and a nice buffet to celebrate Thanksgiving
Very interesting place to dine, I'd LOVE to see an actual rock show here sometime though
The food was crazy good!!! Great restaurant experience, its like walking into a different world! Things to look at in every corner! The Deck offers free live music, a dance floor, great bar, and comfy beach feel seating! I loved it! Kudos to the Kings County Band from Orlando, Florida!! They were terrific!!
Enjoyable place to watch concerts & accommodating to handicap individuals
Saw Shinedown for the very first time in concert there. Amazing experience!!
The outside bar is great and we also went to the murder mystery dinner and the food was great and the murder mystery was a lot of fun I had chicken and rice and asparagus everything was delicious
Great place to see a show! Breaking Benjamin killed it like always
Food was delicious, service was decent. However, we had reservations for 5 people at 6:30 on a Tuesday night and we still had to wait, which is usually understandable, EXCEPT when we were led into the dining room, the place was half empty with plenty of unoccupied tables. Food wise, highly recommend the Voodoo Shrimp.
It was just okay for me as far as the desserts. I ordered their special, the bread pudding and they give you enough for three people to share but it was bland for me and all the flavor was in the caramel sauce topped over the bread pudding. But the atmosphere is fun and casual.
We got our food pretty fast for a party of 7 people. Our waiter Joe was fantastic and very pleasant. Definitely will be coming back to house of blues, the food was amazing and the service was outstanding!
Love the house of blues. Can "vape" inside of its odorless yeah buddy 420 all night.
Loved this experience. I have always had a great time at HOB in NMB.
It's a pretty good place for shows. The drinks at the bar are pricey but there's usually a stand during concerts with cheaper beers. Some of the employees are rude but others are awesome and very helpful to fix things.
Wonderful food, incredible ambience and live bands on the deck with drink specials daily....
Love it.
Had my first hand designed omelet . The cook was excellent and very friendly !!! The music was great and soothing.
Great music with great friends. Love coming here with our people and having so much fun.
I recommend anybody to go to the House of Blues good place to go the waitresses are fantastic the people are fantastic and the music is very good
Went for dinner with a party of 7-- Service was a little slow at one point, then rushed (after a long wait, apps finally arrived followed by entrees less than 5 minutes later), but food was delicious! After dinner we went out to the deck which had a live band and and a really cool atmosphere but we also had tickets to the venue where they also had a band which was great. Would recommend all 3.
We planned our weekend at Myrtle Beach around seeing my favorite band Shinedown at HOB. The event was sold out. I stand a petite 5'1" tall, and after maneuvering for position during the performance several times, I left at the end of the evening without once seeing the stage or performers. People sitting on high stools lined the foremost viewing areas. I recommend paying the extra money for assigned seats, don't go with general admission or to sold out shows.
The band was another matter all together. Shinedown is a rock band. They decided to go acoustic this night, bad enough, but then babbled endlessly between every single song. We left early. Ugh. HORRIBLE!!!
