Im a HUGE fan of going to concerts and have been to a TON of concerts and I loved this venue. I stopped in for a big name rock concert during a summer vacation and had a great time. I would highly recommend this venue if you love being in the pit at concerts

While on vacation at Myrtle Beach we went to the house of blues for dinner. We did go on a Monday but there wasn't a wait. The food was pretty good. The menu isn't huge, so deciding was not over whelming. The jalapeno cornbread was really good. The prices were a little higher than I'd expected. Outside was a live band. They were just setting up as we were finishing up so we didn't stay to hear them. Overall good experience and will most likely return again.

Love MBHOB!! My wife and I went to see HELLYEAH Celebration of Life tour there and it's a great venue. The smaller size makes for a more intimate feel for a show with such large name acts. The staff was professional and courteous, the food was good and the security was friendly professional and on the ball. Just a reminder, make sure you don't accidentally forget knife or anything that could be considered a weapon on your person because they do pat downs and utilize metal detectors prior to entry.

Pretty cool venue. I would invest in buying seats. As it is small enough that it's not ever that far away. Unless you are upstairs. General Admission is suffent If you don't mind standing also this does put you closest the stage and the middle of all action.

We went for the murder mystery dinner and had a great time. Food was good, bar was open and it was a fun group that put on the murder mystery. Definitely recommend it when they put it on.

We visited in the off-season during the evening to enjoy a few drinks and love music. The patio was pretty empty and the band was okay. Overall an enjoyable night out but I found it mediocre compared to other HOB locations.

We came to look at the decor. We were met by a lovely, courteous waitress ( from Pennsylvania) who took the time to explain what the profile art on the ceilings were and that the beautiful ornate bar was from Al Capone's residence. I really appreciate staff who are knowledgeable about their place of business.
Then Ryan, another staff person/ manager gave us a tour. He was so proud of the artwork, the concert hall and the legacy of musicians that have graced the stage. He went above and beyond our expectations! A real treat!

Dining room was reservations only for the night we came, that was understandable. Went out back and the food was not very good. Bones and gristle in the chicken nachos, the bun on my brisket sandwich was warmer than the brisket not impressed at all

Felt compelled to write a review after my negative review about ANOTHER restaurant on the strand. Great food, service, and venue; outstanding. Had a great time at every show I attend, and the staff are the definition of accommodating.

Our server Jamison was polite and professional from beginning to end. The Yardbird sandwich and Juicy Lucy burger was good. But the topper was the Bourbon bread pudding, it was phenomenal.

The shows are generally ok. But the cost of ticket is standing room only, unless you pay extra for a seat. Either way, regardless of what band is playing, the place is always very crowded and uncomfortable. Doesn't matter though, odds are good you'll be in a terrible position to see the act you came to see anyway.
Compacted by drastically over inflated drink prices, I can't say I'm a fan. Three beers on tap that you can only get from A corner of ONE of NUMEROUS bars. $9 for a 20oz draft?!?! In flimsy plastic cup! Can you still call it a bar when all your beer is in cans in a fridge? And I hope your favorite beer is domestic lite.

The staff is by FAR the greatest and the House of Blues is by FAR the best venue I have EVER played and been a part of. They treat every musician with such kindness. Can't say enough about House of Blues organization as a whole.

Just left from the breakfast buffet and the man at the omelet station made the BEST omelets! It was so good, I had 2! Will definitely be back next time we re visiting MB! We enjoyed everything and our server was great, too!

I have a great time each time that I visit for a show. I recently visited again for the Tank concert and it was amazing. This location has great security in place, the food was good, and the drinks were good.

Recently took in the Seether concert with my daughter which was her first concert. I must say the venue was out of this world. The staff was very professional and the concert itself was amazing all openers was great and Letters from the fire was awesome I am a huge new fan. Seether was amazing. All in all the best venue I have attended!! The food on Monday was just as amazing as always. We will be watching your schedule and attending more shows for sure!!!

Not my idea of a concert venue. Just a "bar" with a large dance floor. If that is your "thing" I highly recommend this place. Just not a comfortable place with seating to listen to music.

I've been wanting to go there for years but people was so rude you couldn't even hear the music, I can remember when a band played people was respectable enough to not be louder than the music that they came for. It was way to crowded there was no place to sit people was out of there seats they was supposed to be in. I wouldn't recommend going here unless they get it more under control so for now 2 stars from me.

We walked in at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday in July (17th) we were quoted 20-30 min and I said even with the open tables you have in the dining room? They had 10 plus that I could see, the host said yes because they had several large parties on the wait/call ahead list so we left. Before we left the parking lot we received a text that our table was ready. It a big deal but your hosts clearly don t know how to do their job or they don t care. We were sat and our waitress seemed very nice we ordered drinks and then a 3 inch cockroach crawled across the floor under the table next to us and we were disgusted. When our waitress came back we said we were going to leave because of this bug, she said oh that s just a palmetto bug the manager also stopped us before we left and asked if everything was ok we again said the issue with the cockroach and she too said it s just a palmetto bug I don t know what s more disgusting, the fact that they don t seem to be concerned by a 3 inch cockroach crawling across the floor in the dining room or that they want to lie to their customers calling it a palmetto bug . GET SOME PEST CONTROL. Your burgers cost 16$ you should be able to afford it.. smh.

Palmetto Bug definition on google.....

The Florida woods cockroach or palmetto bug (Eurycotis floridana)[2] is a large cockroach species which typically grows to a length of 30 40 mm (1.2 1.6 in).[3] When alarmed, adults can eject an extremely foul-smelling directional spray up to 1 m,[4] which inspired several of its other common names: Florida skunk roach, Florida stinkroach, skunk cockroach, skunk roach, stinking cockroach, and stinkroach.[5] Two other naming variations include Florida cockroach and Florida woods roach.[5]

I have never been to a mystery dinner before, and it was a blast! Very entertaining. The food was editable, but nothing to write home about. It reminded me of banquet food. But overall the actors we're really good and suspenseful. They kept you guessing. . Good job guys and gals!

Horrible experience. The place was disgusting. All the waiters & waitresses looked nasty and dirty. They were also extremely rude and treated us as if we were an inconvenience. 0/10 would not recommend to anyone. Fire your staff and clean up a little & maybe it will deserve one star.

Highly disappointed in their customer service. We purchased tickets for the Bush concert on May 7th and we asked then to upgrade our tickets to VIP and were told we could not upgrade at that time because it wasn't yet available...to call back May 1st and we could upgrade then. So we purchased our 3 tickets and thought we would call and upgrade them a week before the show...no big deal. My husband calls this afternoon to verify our confirmation number for our tickets so he can be better prepared to upgrade quickly Monday morning and little does he find out the VIP tickets are SOLD OUT with the exception of ONE. The representative he spoke with today told him their policy on upgrading to VIP changed a couple weeks after we purchased our tickets?!? He asked when the policy changed in which she replied February. We purchased our tickets in February and when he asked to verify the date we purchased she simply said "oh I'd have to go back in the system and check" in which she acted like it was too much hassle to do and brushed him off. He asked if there was anything at all they could do to accommodate us for our troubles and flat out there was NO, absolutely not.
We saw Seether in January of last year and had an amazing time. The venue had awesome sound and we had a wonderful experience there. We were pumped to go back and see one of my favorite bands of literally all time, but this has put a huge damper on our view of your customer service/venue.

Went here to eat and had some of the best food I ve ever had. Our waitress (Lakedia) was very nice, funny and had a southern charm. Will definitely eat here again, the live music was outstanding! I hope they keep doing live music.

Host was awesome, waitress was not. Seemed very uncaring about our party member with allergies and when she couldn't answer our question about the bun, her answer was, "you don't have to eat the bun". So instead we decided to just not eat there.
