I love this place!!! So much history. I'm going in May to see my favorite band play!! This will be around my 7th time going since 2007. I highly recommend it, especially if you're okay with standing room only. That can be frustrating to some people. I'm 40 now and I don't like touching people but there are several spots you can stand at to enjoy the show!!!

Great customer service but the food portions were small for bigger adults. Management was very accommodating.
Food and service were great. Called to upgrade my seat. Grabbed a spot in the balcony for a nominal upcharge. Staff was incredibly helpful. Sound was excellent!

It is a rusty hole in the wall that has a great atmosphere. The sound quality was excellent and while we were all crammed inside, it didn't matter once the music started playing. The restaurant also had great food. Was a little pricy but everything down there was.
Kayla, Catie and Deanna represent the staff @ the House Of Blues! We were treated like kings and queens! A definite must do for locals and vacationers! Yinz guys rock!

Awesome show. Thunderstruck was as close to ac dc as you could imagine. Seats extra but standing not bad. Smoking area but can't leave the premises.

Me and my girlfriend came down from Philadelphia and found this place to eat. Talk about southern hospitality! Our server was Houston and he was one of the best servers we had hands down. Nice, friendly and on his A game the whole time. Not to mention the director of operations came over, Ryan, and wanted to see if everything was fine. One of the best restraunts we have been to with some of the best people and food. I recommend it for everyone.
Our waitor was very kind and prompt! We were seated immediately. Not a large variety on the menu, but the Shrimp Po' Boy was amazing! Super generous amount of shrimp and the pickles are yummy!
Gospel brunch. Tired and how can you mess up Easter Brunch? I wish they would bring me back and treat me and show me something good at House of Blues.
I only got to see the back deck but it was super cool with a very chill atmosphere. The band playing was pretty good too
We were there for The Taste of the Coast which was a fund raiser for Risen Christ Christian Academy. It was a very well planned event at the House of Blues. And the restaurants we're excellent. It was pretty cool - you paid an admission and then you paid via tickets you purchased to taste menu samples There was quute an assortment:; Chicken Pot Pie, Crab dip, carrot cake, Crab balls with Remoulade, Blue Crab Mac & Cheese, Jambalaya, Bread pudding with toffee sauce & Bourbon butter and other items. Plus there was a silent auction. It was a beautiful day so I hope they reached their goal!
The Billy Joel tribute here. It was raining that night and surprisingly they didn't open the doors. So people were standing in the rain. Lucky we weren't. Probably because we got there early and had bought seats, so weren't in the general admission line.
The venue was average, thought it would have better sound.
The show itself was disappointing as well way too much bass and acoustic guitar.

Went to Gospel Brunch and a concert at the venue 2 days later. Gospel Brunch was delicious and not too over priced. Music was great. Decor is amazing and we were told all original pieces and reclaimed items. Concert venue was great. Next time we will pay the extra for seats. Drinks were not overpriced and security was very present. Will go back!

We were planning to use House of Blues to hold our vow renewal ceremony, but the director of sales, Tammy was very unprofessional and unresponsive. Initially, she claimed I hadn't received a response to my initial request because the date we requested had already passed. However, my phone number was included in the email and no one reached out. Second, we were not told upfront that there was a $1,500 minimum to use a private room, with 30 guests (that she was aware of) for 2 hours until AFTER she sent a menu, we made our selections and was awaiting a response with the proposal amount, which was the last thing needed to finalize our customized invitations. Instead, she responded with information that should have been given upfront to avoid wasting time. I hope they do better and your experience is better than ours.

Ryan treated us like family. Incredible food, great atmosphere. These days it is a rarity to get such great service from such an amazing, compassionate individual! We will definitely be back!!!
I love this place as a venue, theres never a bad place to stand. Most of the time you can still get somewhere even if it's at the back by the bar and still see the stage. I feel like sometimes they oversell and get far too many people in the venue. Aside from that its perfect!

I went here to see Jeezy and Future ....The atmosphere is great ,but if you are real fans and want to hear their day one underground music your not gonna get it here .. The experience is nice ,but i dont care ,for the commercial tunes .. Ima have to see them at a club to hear what I like from them .....

Great breakfast buffet. Have been coming here for years and each time has been better than the others. Service was fantastic and enjoyed the atmosphere. Would recommend getting there early before the breakfast crowd starts.

Great great place, good drinks, live music and the place is a great art gallery that you can walk around all the place watching arte in the walls and the roof.
Too much VIP seating that is awkwardly placed so regular attendants don't have as positive experience as they could.
Great atmosphere, the New Orleans touch is perfect. The woman that greeted us (I'm so sorry I forgot your name) was lovely. Live music was fantastic. Our server, Tracy, was full of good energy, great at checking back and offered some of her personal recommendations. Everything about the drinks and food was just amazing to me. Would definitely recommend this place, just be sure you're ready to spend a little money.
This is my favorite place to see concerts. The food is pretty good also. I've been to many concerts here alone and I've been safe and felt comfortable and the staff is really nice.
House of Blues was cold- -But the Boney James concert was Absolutely Amazing
I went to the Nas concert and it was wonderful. The second level pew seats were perfect! Everyone from the patrons to the staff were very nice. Getting out of the parking lot wasn't too bad either because everyone was courteous by allowing you to cut in.
May 2nd. Smaller type venue to see national act (Tesla), but great atmoshere. Little pricey for drinks, but only there for show. Glad it didn't rain while waiting to get in. Showed up 15 min before doors to open and actually got in 45 minutes later (we were about 100th in line).
What an AMAZING venue!!! Top of my list for live concerts. So glad we stopped by for a show during our visit. Can't wait to go again.

The food was wonderful! Some people ate breakfast(waffles,omelettes,bacon,sausage, biscuits, gravy and much more) Some ate on the lunch side ( tenderloin, chicken tenders, bbq, mac and cheese, mixed vegetables, shrimp and much more) Music was great and the wait staff was wonderful. Great way to start a Sunday.
Ate their voodoo shrimp, jalapeno cornbread, jambalaya and loved it all. Following dinner, we went to the Montgomery Gentry concert. Great, affordable, pleasant evening! Good choice to buy the dinner/reserved seating package!
Can't get a hold of anyone. Crazy times. Had 6 tickets to a concert. COVID shut down whole town, venue, cancelled concert in early April and I still have not gotten an option for a refund. I will remove this review as soon as I can have this sorted out please.
We had a great time there tonight! The service was great and the food was wonderful. My mixed drinks were surprisingly strong and their live entertainment (Jeff Thomas) was perfect. It was our first visit and we cannot wait to come back! Our waitress Nicole and manager Aaron were very welcoming to us first timers! You don t want to miss out on this experience!
Charlie the manager is awesome! If I could give more stars, I would. I ordered a New York strip and did not care for the prepreation of the steak, but Charlie went above and beyond to make sure we left happy customers. Julie our waitress kept our drinks refilled and was very informative on menu items. This was our first time visiting and we'll be back.

Drinks were easy to come by. Ambiance and big bulb light southern feel is perfect. They were playing reggae while I was there and it was a wonderful night had by all!
If your looking for overpriced drinks and standing during concerts then this is your place. The tickets are fairly cheap until you factor in having to pay more if you want to sit down. Won't go back again
Murder mystery dinner theater...very entertaining. The food served was good.
The actors all involved in the show were good.

HOB is all about taking your money. I ordered a grilled cheese that took 25 minutes to get, and it was so hard you could not eat it. Went to see Jackyl and it was the worst rock show I have ever seen. The band was more into getting drunk than playing music. The music was so loud you could not hardly tell what they were playing, and half the time his mike was not working. It was a total joke. Anyone planning on going to throttlefest in the future don't waste your money. Be sure to take lots of money the drinks are highest priced I have ever seen. And if you are on the floor you will more than likely be involved in a fight or see one. I have been here two times and it never fails. You never see security until its to late. Will not go back again.
