Very good breakfast, we had to pay for the extra bed even having knocked it was a triple room ... they gave us 3 wifi (handsets) for the triple room

The location of Hotel is quite good.Almost 1km from Connaught Place.The property though old is well maintained.The morning buffet breakfast is quite elaborate.The staff is couteous and services are good.Overall quite a satisfying experience

The room interiors and facilities were really good and so was the buffet breakfast.
The only problem we had was with the reception desk staff- When we reached and went to the desk (after a long trip ) I was told Sir please wait 5 min then later a different staff came up to me saying Sir your room is not ready, it will take 20 minutes Now mind you this is at 1:45 PM way beyond normal check in time of noon.
Then when I got mad at them they said five minutes I was made to switch back and forth between two staffs all this while . My wife and in laws had to watch this annoying check in process sitting at in the lobby. I was so embarrassed in front of my in laws.
Same thing happened at check out. I went to the desk at10:30 I was told Sir it will take 5 minutes . Then I called from the room I was told I will keep it ready . When I went down it was still not ready!
They have no value of other person s time . Check in and check out process should be the smoothest and quickest in the day and age.
In summary : Great interiors and breakfast but very poor and slow check and check out process and incompetent staff at the reception desk.

It was a good experience here.
Staff & service was good.

Since, its an old hotel...wears and tears have seemed to influence the architecture of the property. A big renovation is required.

Obviously one of the best, looking forward to staying here next time and eating here, situated in nice location and trained staff

Racist to the core. They asked me to get up from a place just because some white girl had kept a mobile on the table. I asked her if she was comfortable with me sitting on the table opposite to her as there was no place around for breakfast and she was okay with it. Even after this the staff came and asked me to get up and sit at a place which right in front of the reception area. Very bad. I had to just find a place , finish my breakfast and leave but the staff here made it humiliating

-Location: good position to visit old delhi
-Structure: very old and bad maintained.
-Service: the gym is very small and has few machines. The swimming pool has not enough seat. No free wifi!!! I found free wifi even in two star hotels/guest houses, but not here. Really without sense.
-Rooms: they are old and stinking. An awful smell of moisture surrounds everything. Bathroom tubes are very noise when someone is making a shower in another room
-Food: for sure not a five star, but not even a three
-Personal: first place I found in India where the personal is not so kind as usual
-Cleaning: discreet

Average... Not worth the money spent. Rooms are not spacious. Breakfast options are not up to the mark of even a 4 star hotel.

The Metropolitan Hotel and Spa is a five star hotel located in heart of the city. Very contemporary designed interiors. Staffs are helpful and friendly. There is a nice outdoor pool. Hotels rooms are small and communal areas are little dismal. Varieties of options available in the restaurant but it is costly.
Overall no value for money.

Ridiculous. Pay $200AUD to have a note slipped under the door saying a party is going on and sorry there would be loud music till 11PM. Who cares about people that want to sleep or have to wake up early. Very inconsiderate. If a function was going to happen it should be indoors not near the pool so it disturbs everyone in the hotel. I have a child with me and its ridiculous.

Heart of Delhi... Better pricing and lication than other premium hotels of Delhi..

Three stars can go .. check the bill before signing, especially taxes. You might find some surprises as it happened to me .. Mediocre restaurant like the meals and breakfasts they serve.

*BEWARE OF RECEPTION THEY ASK FOR A SCAN OF YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR SECURITY PURPOSE* Never give your credit card for scan.

We stayed on metropoliton on May 2019. And the card we used to book from expedia was scanned there for security reasons(as they say), when we are already paying while checkin then what is the purpose,of a credit card scan.


The reception asking all the guest to produce a card scanning. I found smart guest beside me saying they dont carry car for them it seems okay , but i was a fool i produced the card.

So my request never produce your card for scan to any hotels in India whatever security reasons .
Because loss is yours, because you never know how can your info be leaked.

I believe the hotel dont have any right for asking of a credit card scanning in this cyber crime era.

Beautiful place location in heart of delhi .. I found reception staffs are very coordinate as well as gate staffs. The room is totally awesome .. ambience is superb .. well organized deluxe room with outstanding theme .. having healthy breakfast arranged by hotel .. inside hotel it's well confined place such as gym spa n swimming pool .. so it's must visit hotel

Very nice and modern and in a very good, central location. Staff was a little rude, but I've found that to be quite common in Delhi so that's not particularly notable. The hotel itself is very nice. What I thought was surprising was that there really weren't many other people staying there as the lobby and other areas of the hotel were really empty. Besides that this isn't a bad place to stay. It definitely feels safe.

I loved this upscale hotel in my stay in Delhi. It is a 9-minute walk from the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib.

The rooms come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, desks and minibars.

A breakfast buffet and parking are free. There's also an outdoor pool.

The staff is very polite, and I loved the service and their attention every time, we are considered as gods 'Atithi devo bhaw'.

A very pleasant and restful stay. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.
The breakfast was nice.
The only downside was that there were some noises coming from the bathroom's piping after we or other rooms used the bathroom or the shower.
Also we could hear people talking outside the room when they passed by.
