A very nice hotel. The vdd is that we did not stay but the lobby, the facade and the restaurants were all clean, organized and elegant.

Nice hotel right on the dream beach Tamarindo. The standard rooms with sea view are functionally equipped and clean. Like the rest of the facility. Too expensive for the price of $ 200. The furnishings are too simple, the showers are not 100 percent functional and free water is not offered. The free offer of ice cubes is great. The hotel offers different pools for children adults and a pool bar. Since the area is very large and well attended, the pool chairs are scarce and the reservation with towels is daily practice with the usual conflicts as there are too few shady spots. The garden is spacious and very well maintained. The squirrels and iguanas also feel good. The beach does not belong to the hotel as there is no privatization of the beaches in Costa Rica. Loungers and parasols can be rented on the beach. Top spot for surfers as there are waves here all day. Very nice sunset. Checkout time is 11 a.m. and can be extended to 12 p.m. free of charge. Each additional hour costs from 30 USD plus tax. Breakfast buffet very large selection and very good quality from 6.30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Very good place, everything is close to what is needed. Excellent access to the beach, very nice pool. The price is appropriate.

Nice hotel. Restaurants are okay but the experiences and tours are as advertised. The beach is a little crowded for surfing and the people selling on the beach can be annoying. The pools and rooms are very nice and it is within walking distance from nice restaurants and shops.

We enjoyed a fabulous vacation at Tamarindo Diria. The accommodations were great..I recommend a beach front room. The staff were wonderful and the surfing instructor we had was knowledgable and safety conscious. We will return!

The location is unbeatable and the rooms were very nice. The hotel is beautiful but the food is subpar for the price. The security was great, made us feel very safe. However, the staff was not very great. The hostess for breakfast argued with me for 10 minutes that I couldn't bring food back to the room for my sick husband. After another staff member stepped in and said it was fine, she then argued that I couldn't take the drinking glass I already poured with me. She spoke English fine so it was not a language barrier. There was also always a line to talk to the front desk and the A.C. didn't work very well. If you want a nice hotel, stay here. If you want an authentic Costa Rican hotel with friendly staff and people, save money, go else where and experience less worries. And in all reality, you spend very little time at an expensive hotel when you're on vacation and at the beach all day.

We all went to my son's anniversary celebration to Tamarindo. I stayed in Diria Tamarindo, my son and his family stayed somewhere else. My son, his wife and kids came over to the hotel Diria to visit me and they refused to let them in just because they were not staying in the hotel. I couldn't believe that they did that to my family and specifically my grandkids. I will never go back to Diria again and definitely will not recommend it to anyone.

Only had food. It was absolutely ok, but nothing special. Service was nice. View on the beach also really good

Very good place! The beaches are very good and the hotel is very well located. The food of the restaurants turned out to be very good. They do not offer room service.

This was the hotel me and my family stayed in for the wedding and our vacation, and let me tell you: This. Place. Is. AWESOME!!! The day after the wedding, we went to an ATV place and drove all around the mountains. The next day I went on a horse....ON THE MOUNTAINS! I was afraid of heights, but hey, at least the day after I would be heading back home to Chicago.

Variety of restaurants, pools and bars. Room with all comfort. Very attentive staff.

We stayed in the condos which offer access to all the public and beach areas. Our view was great. I love the pool bar and area. It's easy to get to the main road from our unit. I will def stay here again in the future. There's tons of food and bars nearby. It's def a touristy area.

Large, beautiful area. Everything wonderfully organized. Very nice beach. Breakfast was always very extensive and tasty.

The views are beautiful and the hotel staff is nice. Our AC kept going out in the room and we requested a King Bed and were told that all of them were booked even tho I booked in early January. So we ended up with two full size beds in the room. Everything else was great I just wish they would have tried to accommodate the request a little better. They kept telling us to check the next day to see if we could change rooms.

Absolutely stunning grounds and the pools are beautiful we enjoyed every minute hear for our wedding.

4 star hotel that is not up to par.
Rooms that do not have ocean views are across the road, the doors are not insulated allowing the noise of cars and surrounding bars.
The beach is nearby but we must rent chairs to a third person to settle there.
No service included in the hotel, everything is very expensive.
The prices certainly reflect more there locality than the services ...

The location is absolutely beautiful! The weather is a bit warm, but not humid. The rooms are large, air conditioned, and has nice amenities. There are several pools, all very nice. The restaurants have a great selection and you won't go hungry. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to a friend and I definitely plan on going again.

Very nice hotel, with access to the beach, family pools and swimming pools for adults. It has trees that form areas with enough shade to be even at noon. The breakfast is spectacular and the restaurants around are very good. The rooms are comfortable, there is free wifi in the rooms and in the whole area (even in the nearby restaurants, on the beach, in the pools and on the street). Local and international calls are free. The attention of the staff very good.

The hotel is quite good, the facilities comfortable, the rooms very nice, the bathroom can be improved with shelves to place soaps and / or shampoo. Etc.
The rooms in this sector do not have an ocean view. To go to this sector you have to cross the street, but it is not uncomfortable, this must be clarified when you make a reservation.

The place was great, well manicured grounds, friendly staff, delicious breakfast every morning. Our room was cozy, housekeeping always cleaned up nicely, and we had an amazing view of Playa Tamarindo! Would definitely return!

This is currently more about the tour desk, which is technically part of the hotel. We stopped by the tour desk yesterday and happened to catch a very unhappy couple in the midst of argument with the desk manager (Bryan)
Not knowing all the details, I was staying neutral in terms of picking sides; however I was ultimately taken aback by the other desk employee making a disparaging comment about the guests after they left in disgust. Despite the upset guest's advice not to use the Hotel's Tour Desk, I went ahead and booked an all day tour for our family of 4. Well before the 24 hr cancellation period, my wife decided she didn't want to go and attempted to cancel at the desk. The same woman from the day before was at the tour desk and would not agree to the cancellation (not clear why not). I stopped by the desk after breakfast to try and resolve the matter myself. Long story short, the same woman ultimately gave me the runaround as well and proceeded to disparage my wife as if she thought that it was normal to just disparage everyone. After multiple attempts to get me to exchange my wife's cancellation amount for hotel credit, she told me I would need to come back at noon to speak with her manager (Bryan). Instead I went back to my room and sent an email to Bryan & Customer Relations advising them not only was I was cancelling my wife's tour, I was cancelling for the entire family as well as the two spa treatments I had reserved. I could have taken the first customer's advice not to book with them and in retrospect I should have. It is never acceptable to disparage guests in the hospitality industry.

This hotel was super. Nice beach. Big swimming pool. Nice hotel rooms.

Great Ceviche and the lobster was cooked to perfection. Great presentation too.

Entrance area is being rebuilt! Reception at tables in the middle of the construction site at z.T deafening noise! Even in the garden floors are laid and slabs tailored! Holidays on the construction site!

Good rate. Shower had hot water. The bathroom sink didnt.
