Luxurious and professional resort with kind and helpful staff.

Great hotel in a great location. You just need to make sure they do not double charge you. Booked through Expedia and went to checkout and they charged me again for the room saying I didn't pay! They charged me and basically said I had to figure it out with Expedia. Very rude. Lucky for me Expedia refunded the charge right away. Also don't expect cheap meals. Everything in Costa Rica is American prices or more. Price is reasonable for beach front, breakfast is included and good.

The staff is very nice and welcoming.
If you need ice for beverages after 21:00 the ice machines are shut off and the bar is closed - plan accordingly.

Daria is rather 'old world' to me. It is well maintained but not new. The grounds are very pretty also well maintained. Pools beautiful. Would stay again.

Beautiful place

LOUD MUSIC from the property next door. Your entire room will rattle from the music until 3 am. Do not book here unless you want to ruin your trip. Also lots of bugs in the room - I know this is a tropical climate but the busted bug screens allow them to get into your room.

If you care about the females in your life not being able to be seen by possible voyeurs, stay away from this place. The rooms are in suspect shape and somehow 2 different rooms had holes in the ceiling that someone in a crawl space above could see in. Not cool. The place is nice but seem a little "partied out" like other places you know. My first time to Tamarindo - what a terrible first impression. The third room didn't have AC that worked. This was ONE NIGHT. Plenty of other places on the block to choose....

Oh my. Dream place. Had a nice visit and great wood cooked pizza. Will be back.

Good food and service. Good ceviche. Try the Pacific grilled skewer for a variety of grilled seafood. Nice outdoor seating.

Good but lots of vendors on the beach who hack hotel # 1 great service. Very expensive for the value for money

The property was nice, but the people on this side of the island was just nowhere near as on the other side. It felt like a trip to Newport Beach. Good for people who aren't interested in seeing the real local culture.

I stayed here for 7 fabulous days in Sept. The rooms are beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely stay on the ocean view side if you want to wake up to gorgeous views every morning!!

The service is slow and impersonal. I did not feel comfortable at all. Breakfast is not stunning. This hotel is overpriced

I'm really conflicted at this hotel. When I left I was convinced I was going to give it a one-star review their front desk made me so mad. They have a policy (printed up may I add) that says you can stay an extra hour if you request it the night before. I did this so my family could enjoy the pool and then they said they would do this for an extra $80 since we had two rooms. After I showed them the policy that I brought back from the room, they then pointed at the asterisk that says it is at the discretion of the front desk to decide if they will allow for late check-out. Now, in full-disclosure as mad as this made me the rest of the hotel was amazing. Their breakfast overlooked the beach with amazing food. They had multiple pools. My kids thought it was cool that frogs showed up at night at the lagoon pool. And the beach in front of the hotel was amazing as well. Last, there was an abundance of security there and they were always looking around at cars making you feel very secure. I would stay there again, but I still call their policy on late-check-out lame.

We had a few drinks here one night. Seemed nice enough and prices were okay.

On august 6, they charge my credit card twice, by mistake. We come back the day after to get a refund. The accountant, M. Jonathan Rojas, gave us all the assurance we will be refund by the hotel bank the day after. He even wrote "Para el More

Good service, pool bar and restaurant with high prices

BEWARE more than 1/2 the rooms are across the street. So just because it advertises "on the beach" it doesn't mean you will be on the beach. Reservation staff were unpleasant and could not care about any problem you might have.

Resort very good with great facilities and location. The only problem was that they were under renovation and did not have any notice or protection for the guests. In some parts of the hotel we were in the middle of the work for example. Breakfast on that account went to the other side of the street. Other than that the rest was perfect! Room very comfortable, helpful staff ... Espresso coffee at will in the room and national / international connections at no cost. I recommend it and I'll be back for sure!

We loved the hotel and had a great time. I would suggest getting an ocean front room in lieu of the street side. It can be kids noisy in the early late night on the weekends. They have two pools, the one with the swim up bar is across the street away from the beach. It still was one of the better places in town and would recommend it!

Great place. Close to the beach. All their restaurants serve great food. Make sure to see Esteban at the pool. Cool guy and great bartender.

Good food at this beachside located hotel & restaurant. People watching was fun, as we saw many in the wayer, in boats & even on horseback.

We thought the rooms were a little on the small side (4 of us in one room), but the beds were comfortable, and the view to the beach is unbeatable!

Beautiful views and amenities, beach front and variety of pools and food choices. Laid back and peaceful.

Diria owns a fair portion of the main drag in Tamarindo. Not my type of spot, but I rated it for the purpose of the average traveller. Gambling, drinks, good food and atmosphere for entertainment(I was fasting at the time).

Always a great and wonderful place to vacation. Excellent staff!
